Strange appliance

Strange appliance. Basics like the egg tray that is held up by sellotape. 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭. I've broken numerous eggs.

Sia gas 5 burner hob

Ordered a Sia gas hob week or so back which we checked over at time of delivery as advised. All appeared ok.
Finally got to the point where oak worktops were fitted and cut to size to incorporate gas hob. Plumber came to fit hob which he did and tested to see if igniting etc. So far, so good.
Began to detect faint smell of gas which was slightly difficult due to having used various wood oils and other chemicals during kitchen fitting.
Gas smell increased ++ overnight - scary!
Rang plumber immediately who assisted turning off gas supply. He then discovered leak inside the hob which was a faulty issue with the unit itself as a pipe was cross threaded and stripped. This was leaking and relates directly to the product, not the plumber’s installation.
Once fully established, rang Sia customer service today at 11.30. Made a further 2 calls up until 5pm.
We have been told that this has been passed to their technical dept who have not yet responded and we have not allowed them sufficient time to deal with the matter. We asked how long we need to allow them to deal with this before looking for alternatives and their response was basically, they don’t know.
We asked for either a replacement part asap or a replacement hob. We were told we must allow reasonable time for them to resolve it and so we queried what is reasonable time? They were not able to clarify this. I want to know if it’s quicker to order a new hob altogether or wait for them to decide how long I should be without my cooking facilities or gas supply.
We’ve got a plumber waiting, a new kitchen in, no working hob and guests arriving this week……..
All we actually wanted was good customer service and a replacement part or hob sent out immediately. We understand mistakes happen. Not to mention, the inconvenience we have had.
The lady on the phone today was actually arguing about timings!
So now we have a beautiful new kitchen, no working hob. More than disappointed as I’ve looked forward to this for so long and worked so hard for it.
Note: other companies we have dealt with have been more than helpful.
We don’t have time to wait open ended.
2 days on and the company advised us to fix the problem ourselves and offered £10 for inconvenience. We have sent a report from our gas engineer stating the item is faulty.
Had to buy a new gas hob from elsewhere. Sia will not agree to a refund despite the consumer rights act. Still waiting. They do not have any urgency in responding to you.
I would advise not to use this company and have never before come across this. Feel really let down and disappointed.
Update: over 2 weeks later. Faulty hob collected by Sia who eventually agreed to a refund for this. I contact Sia and Debenhams on a daily basis, but still no refund issued. Constantly advised to wait until a further date for updates, then the date moves again. Poor customer service in the extreme all round!
No refund. No apology for faulty hob. Don’t buy from these people or even attempt to engage with them. Be warned

Fridge is made of extremely poor…

Fridge is made of extremely poor quality materials. Fridges has split on the back of the fridge and the company SIA is not interested in honoring the warranty totally not worth wasting your time and money on this companies products. If you want proof of damage email me.

Chimney Cooker Hood SIA70BL.
does not extract on full, barely holds up piece of kitchen roll on the fan body itself. No draw at filter level, kichen steams up.
Filters are flimsy very thin not likely to hold any grease.
Looks good but not up to the job.

Purchase a fridge in February this…

Purchase a fridge in February this year. Both shelves have cracked very cheap plastic material. The shelf for storing can drinks freezes them. Icebox is constantly having to be defrosted as it over ices. Worst fridge I've ever purchased

Absolutely Rubbish

Bought a new dishwasher from SIA in November 2024. The bottom basket was very flimsy but the machine worked well until the middle of May 2025. The rubber seal had started coming away from the door and the piece of metal that was holding it in place was warped.
I complained to customer.services and sent them a video of the fault.
SIA told me to repair the machine myself, e en though it was six months old. They said as it wasn't a fault that was present when we took delivery of the machine it was wear and tear. SIX MONTHS old, get a grip SIA, needless to say it has gone to the Office of Fair Trading. DO NOT buy from this company, if I could give them NO stars I would. Absolutely shameful. By the way, there are only two of us in the house, so the machine does not get excessively used. Absolute thieves!!

No customer service or after sales care

I wish I had seen the reviews before I purchased..
Please take the reviews as honest as I have just purchased an intergrated fridge and seperate freezer .... the freezer is fine I think except noise.. the fridge has water dripping down the back.... I have tried to rectify it myself , then contacted Sia... however the number they give for servicing doesn't work. That's the first clue into appalling customer service , you end up dealing with them on email...in fact I have come to the conclusion there are only 2 people that work for the company, because if you call the other number the same person answers every time and if you email the same rude person responds every time.. they
are saying if they send an engineer out I will be charged £119 as they are saying its customer instalation fault.... however she has changed her mind as to what she thinks has caused the problem.... I think trading standards needs to read these reviews

First of all excellent price point

First of all excellent price point. Second great internal features, the door slots for "drinks" and other tall or long container are very good and robust. Will take much use.
However SIA have produced a fridge with ice box that seems to have it's gubbins hanging outside the parameters of it's frame at the back. Which makes it susceptible to damage in transit. The packaging is insufficient and unlikely to protect the appliance, or it's prolapsed mechanism. Poor design. Confounded by poor packing and even weaker customer service. Personally my order had an unsightly dent in the door and a crease in the metal side.
Otherwise the size is great for under counter, good volume at 81l capacity. If like me you can't afford a higher price range , then do so with caveats I have outlined here.

Absolutely appalling customer service…

Absolutely appalling customer service thats before I even start on my appliance, bought a washing machine 6months ago and it’s knackered already the circuit board has gone an engineer arrived 5 days after I reported it and confirmed it was the circuit board and would be fixed within 7 days yet here I am 12 days after his visit SIA aren’t the slightest bit interested, will be taking my case to a lawyer see you in court, folks please avoid these cowboys nothing but hassle and stress

Piece of rubbish dishwasher....avoid

Purchased an integrated 16 place dishwasher, the one with a cutlery draw at the top.

Had it installed and noticed it wasn't drying the dishes in any programme. Emailed support they arranged an engineer to attend. The engineers found nothing wrong with the machine even though he DIDN'T remove it from it's location nor stayed at the property long enough for a cycle to be completed. So how can he say that there is no fault. Emailed support back, many emails back and forth including a video clearly showing that the machine doesn't work correctly. Finally, as a paid with PayPal, opened a dispute, which PayPal rejected because I had exceeded the 30 day clause.

Absolute rubbish....I will now open a small claim court case against SIA

Absolute diabolical product

Absolute diabolical product, never again would I buy from SIA . It is not bad for the money you pay , but parts are very fragile and easily break . My shelves for fridge have broke 3 of them , I have looked absolutely everywhere for these parts and am unable to find them . Prior to this I tried to get insurance on my appliances for any mishaps , SIA BRAND is not even listed or recognized by any company . Extremely disappointed as my fridge / freezer is integrated .absolutely fuming .

Waste of money

If I could, I would rate it minus 100.
I have bought an integrated
10 Function Single Electric Oven, Touch Control LED Display 76L - SIA BISO6SS.

Ever since I bought it I was NEVER able to use it. It just makes a 'click' sound, but it will not alow me to set a timer/temperature/ or start a function.
Basically ..I am unable to use it. It is a rubbish appliance. Furthermore, I can not leave the main switch on at any times, as it will start on it's own, and it would beep on an off continuously.
It is a complete waste of money. Was anyone able to use this oven?

The workers Callus and Dale were very helpful and kind, they have bring the two pieces of the oven which one of those had to came tomorrow in the same day, with Dale's own car.
I hope you all will meet them very kind, helpful and very good people.

Now on week 3 of waiting for a correct…

Now on week 3 of waiting for a correct part and no real progress in being able to use my cooker hood. Very disappointing as the customer service aren’t really doing much to send me the parts I need or tell me which the correct part is. Going to have to arrange a refund.

Impressive Customer Service

Bought an under counter freezer. The Drawers were faulty. After an email and phone call replacement drawers were sent by return. Very impressed. A company that cares! That is unusual these days.
