I recently bought my new Cervélo Áspero gravel bike from Sigma Sports in Letchworth, and the whole experience was outstanding. Carolyn, who looked after me, was fantastic from start to finish.

This wasn’t just a standard bike purchase—it was a full custom build. I bought some parts directly from Sigma Sports, but I also had a number of components I’d sourced elsewhere. What really impressed me was that Carolyn and the team were more than happy to fit all the parts, regardless of where they came from, and did so at no extra cost. That’s exceptional service you just don’t see everywhere.

The handover was also brilliant. Carolyn went above and beyond to make sure I was properly fitted to the bike and comfortable with everything. It really felt like a personalised experience rather than just a transaction.

I’ll admit, I used to think Sigma were on the pricier side, but I was wrong. My bike was actually cheaper in their sale than anywhere else, and with service like this, the value speaks for itself.

I’ve used Sigma before as my local bike shop, but this was my first full-bike purchase—and I couldn’t be happier. I’d fully recommend them to anyone. Fantastic service, great prices, and a real personal touch.

Excellent service from Leon who spent a great deal of time to ensure the bike fit was absolutely correct, with an offer to come back after several rides on the road if any tweaks were required.

Your Letchworth store were very helpful - a good experience.

Parking available onsite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Caroline advised us two novice triathletes on sizing and fitting of wetsuits. Careful instruction was given on putting on and removing the wetsuits and how to look after them.
The whole experience was relaxed and we both came away feeling informed and very happy with our purchases. We will definitely go back for any further tri equipment required.

Impeccable service from all the staff and especially Caroline when purchasing a huub wetsuit and new goggles that don’t leak thanks to the meticulous fitting service. Have been back since for clothing and bike bits, highly recommend.

I went into the new Letchworth store looking for my first pair of road cycling shoes, pedals and cleats and have to commend Robin for all his patience and knowledge. He talked me through all my options, explained all I needed to know about cycling for the first time using cleats etc.

Being able to try on a range of road shoes of different sizes and brands, all with guidance by a member of staff who knew what he was talking about. I left the shop with the perfect pair of shoes. I wouldn't get that by shopping online.

Visited the Letchworth store and found the ideal cycling shoes, Specialized Torch 2.0 which were a great fit. The sales rep, Alex, was absolutely brilliant and was tentative to my needs, also had a fantastic discussion about my charity cycling event in September, which he took a great interest in, thank you very much Alex, you are a star, outstanding customer service.

Purchased a new road bike from Letchworth shop with help from Carolyn. Started with a pre-sales consultation which was most helpful. Carolyn really took time to get the correct sizing and was very pleasant and professional throughout. I never felt pressured which is not always the case in such situations and although the bike I chose was a fraction of the price of many in the shop I am sure the service would be the same.
I then returned to collect the bike and again great service with the bike al ready on the turbo to try and make final adjustments. Again a great experience and I would thoroughly recommend Sigma Sports to anyone.

Great service and shoe fitting by Carolyn. I came in with a modest budget for shoes but was easily convinced by Carolyn to up my budget 🤣

For years I’ve been buying shoes on line, ending up with something not quite right. I bit the bullet and drove to the Letchworth store for advice and a fitting. Came away very clear about what works for me, thanks to a very patient Carolyn who helped me find a pair of Lakes that are the best shoes I’ve ever owned
