Bought decently expensive laptop from these guys on eBay in August 2022. Started having issues with the screen within days, but it was clear there was a major problem several weeks later. Contacted the company via eBay and they initally responded quite quickly with questions and requests for photos before completely ghosting me. I was able to find workarounds and the problems became intermitent. However, I have just had the news from my company's IT team that the monitor is in such a failing state that it will need to be replaced. Buyer beware!
EDIT: the company responded to my email and told me to "calm down" and claimed that I had never contacted them about the laptop. Once I furnished proof of sending them multiple messages, their tone changed and they were apologetic and simply couldn't understand how they had received all of my messages prior to the ones where I was asking them to take action on the faulty machine. They have now offered to service the laptop but unfortunately the only way is for me to mail it back to them in England. Since I no longer live in the UK the time and expense involved to send the laptop to them is very likely not worth it. If they had responded to my several messages sent intially I would have still been in the UK and been able to return the machine to get my money back or have them send a new machine.

Had an incident with our neighbours' kitty, whom "lives" with us. In the winter, he likes laying on my laptop keyboard, but it has been running *extremely* hot lately (Alienware are horrendous in that regard) and he jumped from the coffee table on to the laptop as he has many times before, which was on my chest, basically, as I was prone on the couch. He absolutely (understandably) freaked out at the heat, and as I tried to get out from under him to help, he bore down even harder, scratching me and the coating off a few keys and breaking the clips off one altogether. None lay flat anymore, either. It was a whole thing for about a minute until my partner ran out of a remote meeting, and in to grab him for me. Anyway, single keys are very expensive; around £4 per on eBay for used, even. But, mine are the newest version for that model, so couldn't even get them (they would fit, but are a different font). I didn't think I'd find a whole keyboard outside Dell, if at all, but was delighted to find a brand new pristine keyboard intact for £32 (£5 was shipping, since it was the only thing I got). I was going to spend half that for four used keys on eBay! Ordered them late at night, was dispatched first thing next morning and delivered that afternoon, I think? Next day, if not. So fast. Thank you!

YouTube for installation myself, but forsee no issues. Just got everything I need, so tomorrow is the big day. Exciting. 🙂
