The holiday to Crete in May this year was lovely..except for the transfers.
No one was there in Heraklion airport to meet us, no one answered the phone.
At 2am a Greek gentleman took pity on us and put us on a Jet2 bus and we walked up a hill to our hotel pushing our suitcases.
No mean feat for 2 elderly ladies!
The return transfer was equally chaotic. We were told to confirm online. Our booking number was unrecognised. Phone calls were not answered. Eventually the hotel confirmed it for us..again a walk with suitcases to the beach road.
Silver Travel are yet to apologise or explain..After 6 weeks of regular emails.

Update..finally offered a refund of £16 to. Over4 transfers. Upped it to £20.
A week has passed.. no refund.

I have now booked two Holidays with Sophie at Silver Travel, both have been a great experience. Quotes are quick and accurate and the booking is stress free. Would recommend using this advisor with the great customer experience I have had. Thankyou Silver Travel 👍👍👍

Another great holiday organised by Jayne Kerrigan. We went to South Africa so it was important that it was well organised and it certainly was. Jayne sorted out the flights both international and internal, all private transfer and three different hotels including the safari. Everything went well and we had a great time. Would certainly recommend Jayne for booking a holiday

We have been talking to Jayne for over 4 years (thanks to Covid) but we finally managed to get away on our dream holiday. We must have sent hundreds of emails to Jayne and she was always there to help, no matter how big or small. In fact she's that good, we have booked 2 more holidays with her and trust her with everything.

I bless the day I first phoned Silver Travel Advisor and spoke to Sue Lord. From the outset she was friendly and understanding, and she is extremely knowledgable. When my last holiday encountered an issue, Sue dealt with it in a professional manner and resolved it, remaining patient and supportive at all times. Sue also advised me when I decided to go on my first cruise and went the extra mile to find me a cabin in a great location on the ship, Queen Anne. I feel as though I haven’t just found a great travel agent, I have also found a friend.

We met Sue Lord months ago at a travel show, when we were hoping to arrange a trip to Australia. We told Sue we wanted to discuss the trip in June, and in June, she gave us a call. She worked extremely hard to put together a trip that met our requirements, but in the end, we were all stymied by the ridiculously high airfare. Our second choice was the Caribbean, and Sue found us a luxury cruise on a yacht that looks spectacular. We now can't wait till the trip in February! We can't say enough about Sue's professionalism and friendliness.

Excellent service. My Dad is an older gentleman and so he needed a tailor made service. We’ve looked at hundreds of cruises but the one Deborah managed to find is the only one he felt confident enough to book. She was very reassuring and able to print out and send physical copies to him too, because he likes to have a pack with him when he travels and doesn’t have a printer. She’s now looking for a holiday for me now too. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Kerry regarding a bucket list holiday, and her advice has been absolutely invaluable. Terrible advice

Kerry listened to what we were after and kept a look out for the right trip and deal. There was no pressure and all questions we had were answered promptly and efficiently.
I did find the website daunting with the information being found in different parts through links. This is where Kerry was very patient and able to answer the questions I couldn’t easily find the answers to.

Jayne organised a trip to Singapore and Thailand including a stay at the Elephant Hills elephant sanctuary, the trip was absolutely spot on from start to finish, we would 100% book our trips with Jayne in the future and definitely recommend her to friends and family!
