Originally ordered the SDU3 from the Demon Tweeks distributor, but encountered a fault with the LCD display - Calum from Simutec was monumental in providing support, and even sending my replacement from himself rather than waiting for the distributor to deal with it. New unit arrived from Simutec directly in a much better state (in terms of being appropriately boxed and packaged). No complaints at all, great product and great support! :)

Purchased the SDU-3 from Simutec. It is an excellent very well engineered product. The support from Simutec is amazing. Highly recommended and would go as far to say this is probably the best DDU on the market.

Amazing product (SDU3 Dash) and better after service, had a slight problem with the product due to handling of the shipping company, this was dealt with in a swift pain free exchange with the owner who had it sorted within 24hrs.
Will be using again.

Speaking as someone tied to the motorsport industry. I am impressed by this wheel compared to anything else out there! You can tell it has been carefully designed and manufactured, it feels quality more so than the real things in race cars, and the response time is unreal! If you are looking for reliability and authenticity look no further!

Fantastic product and service provided by this UK company. I had some technical queries before purchase which were answered by Calum, the owner almost immediately. I decided to purchase the SDU-2 and the under monitor mount but the extension length I required was showing as out of stock on the website. A quick message to Calum and he was able to source me the correct parts and updated the website instantaneously, allowing me to place the order straight away. This was also late in the evening out of normal working hours! Absolute top quality service and fantastic product which suited my needs perfectly.

The SDU-2 is an amazing product. It's easy to install and a very good manufactured product. Extremely happy with it.

I just wanted say how great the service from Callum at Simutec is. I had an issue with the LEDs not being detected on my Simutec SDU-2 dash, which I suspect was due to my technological ineptitude when I updated the firmware. Callum was quick to reply via email, and then logged in directly to my PC and fixed the issue in a flash. It's fabulous to see such good support for such a terrific product.

I recently bought a SDU-2 from Simutec and I’m extremely impressed with the product.

Quality - Second to none, Billet machined and anodised to a great level, really looks the part on a high end sim racing setup.

Engineering - Wow, I’m an engineer and couldn’t help but have a peek inside. Great layout, tightly packaged with custom PCB. Even the bracket that attaches it impressed me. You really get what you pay for.

Setup - Really simple as it’s officially supported by Simhub. Literally just plug it in, select Simutec and get racing. Not like other products I’ve had before where you really need to understand the Simhub software to set it up.

Use - Great dash layout and LED profile. Great clarity and does the job it’s intended to. Can now save money on wheels without screens and have multiple I swap between.

I’ve had a few dashes before, I don’t think I’ll ever need another.

When I purchased the product, I was expecting a quality product and it did not disappoint. Smooth lines and well built.

When loading the software I loaded something wrong into Arduino and couldn't get the RGB Leds to work. I emailed Simutec and received emails back quickly giving me 2-3 items to troubleshoot. When it didn't fix it Caleb from Simutec setup up a time where I could share my screen on Discord to fix. Due to my work schedule and being in the US we did this on a Saturday morning. He had me up and running in 5 minutes. We continued to talk about this product and its features, which was very cool to see.

I am extremely happy with the product and will note in my first League Pro-Am race at Interlagos that week I Qualified 3rd and finished P1. I think I can give the dashboard some credit.

I purchased my SDU-2 dash recently and all I can say is wow! Previously owning a 3D printed dash, the SDU-2 professional build quality makes this a high end piece of kit, mounted to my Simucube wheel mount perfectly with heaps of adjustment options to suit my seating position.

The SDU-2 was dispatched Monday and arrived to me in Australia by Friday morning which is very impressive.

Calum was super helpful and made himself available to take the time and walk me through the features of the SDU-2 through discord voice, getting me setup and walking through the quick and easy install in SimHub.

Great product, can’t wait to see what else Simutec will be producing in the future.

I just got my Simutec SDU dash and couldn't be happier. Calum and his team were extremely quick to respond to my questions about the initial set up and helped me get going with this great bit of kit. The build quality is amazing, and its third-party compatibility makes it really customisable. A must have for your rig!

I recently purchased a SDU-2 Dash. Installation was simple and straightforward. I attached it to my Fanatec DD2 wheelbase and for me the location was just right. Setup was easy too and there is a lot of flexibility in the software. Pretty cool.

Got the display up and running today. Very easy to install. Just follow the installation instructions and you are up and running in a few minutes. The supplied mounting hardware is very solid. It doesn't wobble around at all. The display itself is very crisp and easy to read. I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it if you have the money to spend.

A brilliant experience using the simulator at Simutec's studio. I was using their top-level professional engineering to help improve my lap times during the session and found large improvements in time.

I was filled with confidence and the experience from start to finish felt slick and professional. I cant thank Simutec enough for the experience and I hope to be back soon!

This was the first time I visited Simutec and in short, it was an amazing experience. If you have a "sim" set up at home, then you will have to try it for yourself. It is more realistic, very immersive and above all a lot of fun.

I am an below average driver. I have only sat in a single seater once, done the odd recreational kart session and have a basic force feedback sim set up at home where I can occasionally get in the top 10-15% of time trial leadership boards. I wanted to try simutec to get driver coaching, understand my technique and where I need to adapt. Calum asks you this before you step in the sim so you can get the most out of your session.

You start the session by slotting yourself into the F1 style cockpit, where you sit very low and can only just about see out the cockpit. If you see the videos from inside the driver helmet in F1, then this is exactly like it, you can only see the tops of the tyres and if you want to see the track limits then forget it, you have to learn where they are. I would say that it is very comfortable. I have a bad back but I had no discomfort at all over the course of my 2 hour session. All of the pedals and steering is adjustable to your liking so that young kids and adults alike can use it without comfort issues. Even the firmness of the brake pedal is adjustable.

My first session was on the Red Bull Ring in Austria using a 2019 F1 car model. On paper a simple track but Calum explained that it has all the ingredients for learning the car, how it feels on the limit (my perceived limit that is, not the cars), uphill and downhill braking etc. Not being used to how powerful the force feedback and the steering angles required I promptly crashed into the pit lane exit. With the brake being so hard (as it would be in real life) it was extremely difficult to start with as it is so different to anything I have done before. My lap times started off at 1min 11, but after getting used to the car, getting the live feedback over the radio from Calum and applying it to the sim, my lap times improved to 1min 7 by the end of the Red Bull Ring session and could have been faster without a mistake. The sim will give you a workout on your arms, shoulders and left leg (the braking leg). You will need to take multiple breaks to recover, look at the very detailed and informative feedback from Calum.

My second session was at Imola which can be viewed on the Simutec Instagram account. This was my worst session, a new track, different techniques required. I crashed a lot, however it proved to be the best session to improve. The feedback from Calum was first rate. When we looked at the data, we saw what worked well and focused on the technique needed to get it right. It was frustrating while in the cockpit but when I got in for my third and final session it was all out of my system and I was motivated to get back in.

The last session was on the full Silverstone circuit with a late 00, early 10's F1 car. Now I was fully in the zone, totally immersed, more consistent, faster. It was a shame it had to come to an end as there is still a long list of things I want to try in that sim, but that's ok because I will use them again without a doubt (when my arms, legs and shoulders are beefed up).

What a fantastic simulator experience. Not only a great set up but a very personal service. Callum is very knowledgable with the telemetry system, and is happy to share his vast knowledge and experience of motor racing. My son Bradley, who is autistic had a two hot lap session. Callum gave him plenty of advice and by the end of the session he was putting in some really good lap times. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Absolutely brilliant experience for any sim racer or racing enthusiast, I took part in the hot laps competition and the live feedback and data analysis was so helpful in making you faster on track, would highly recommend
