I want to shout about the Sinclair Method from the rooftops. Absolutely amazing treatment, helps to be motivated but the tablets and advice do the heavy lifting. Over 3 months since I had a drink. Thank you all for your help.

If you are considering doing this, go for it. It has totally transformed my life.
I’ve had a problematic relationship with alcohol for over 20 years. I would drink if I was happy, sad, stressed, celebrating and basically any excuse. I was the person who always had too many drinks at a party and then woke up with massive hangxiety.
I started on the pills back in June last year. I was sceptical but read all the reviews and thought I would give it a try. I have not looked back.
I have not had a single alcoholic drink since December 31st and have not even missed it.
I did have to discover how to have fun without alcohol again, but it was worth it and the support I received from Joanna was incredible and really helped.
I can’t begin to express all of the benefits it’s brought me. The usual things you hear about like much better mental clarity, better skin and weight loss. But most importantly I am such a better mum now and find joy in the smallest things now.
I agree with the other reviews - I just can’t believe that this is not available on the NHS.
I highly recommend this to anyone who has a problematic relationship with alcohol.

I have been following the Sinclair Method for five months. My drinking was a problem and now it isn't. The pills clearly work, but the support and encouragement from Joanna has been invaluable in terms of encouragement and knowing what to expect and aim for. It has changed my life. If your drinking is out of control -- just do this, it works.

WhiIst not an alcoholic (no problem with dry months) I had a faulty off switch when drinking. This tablet has completely sorted that for me. I can now enjoy a couple of drinks and stop and have found that often I choose not to drink. TSM and Adrian have been great - couldn't recommend more highly!

Practical, pragmatic, sensible yet very empathic.Excellent at answering all questions and immediately responsive to the need for support, concerns or questions. A complete life and game changer . Cannot recommend enough, and I recommend to all friends and relatives who are needlessly struggling with this horrible affliction.

Just a few months ago my drinking was at such a dangerous level and after 10 years trying to stop, cut down, have fewer drinking days, nothing worked. That was until I found TSM UK. Talk about life changing, life saving even. As a heavy drinker over many decades I am so amazed at the difference following such a simple method has made to my life. Personal effort is needed but nothing like the 'cold turkey' of deprivation. Im still a work in progress but confident I will win the battle of alcohol, Im sleeping so well now, loads of energy and slimmer, cant put a price on that! Why on earth our NHS isn't promoting this is beyond belief given the cost saving, life saving benefits.

I started TSM back in January and am amazed at the progress I’ve made. I have completely broken the habit of the nightly wine (up to a bottle) and am drinking about two thirds less than I was previously across the week. While I am pleased, I still have a way to go to continue to change behaviours and be more controlled on the days I do choose to drink. The difference is now I believe in my ability to do this and I know the support from the lovely Adrian is there if I need it. I have found the process really straightforward and supportive, but not intrusive. I would highly recommend this method to anyone struggling, yes you need to commit and work on your behaviours but alongside the naltrexone it really works.

Sinclair Method UK are total stars! Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, right from first contact. I don't understand why this method isn't more widely known when it's so effective, but I cannot say how glad I am to have found them. Worth every penny and wholeheartedly recommended!

Complete waste of money (and lots of it). I’d this helps as many people as have submitted reviews then I’m delighted for them. In my experience, the medication had no effect whatsoever in reducing cravings (I tried two different ones). The ‘guidance and support’ consisted of gimmicky suggestions that anyone with an addiction would recognise as insufficient (such as, ‘find a drink to replace your favourite alcoholic drink’. Well I’d not thought of that before). After spending nearly £1000 to no effect, I was given the option of spending yet more on another drug, though this would entail incurring an additional cost for another medical consult in order to obtain the prescription. After given this option, I never heard from them again, no follow-up even as a courtesy. This does seem to be more about making money that helping people.

In response to your reply, I was an indeed aware that there was a risk that the approach might not work and have not claimed that I was misled in this respect. It was more that I felt like the priority was to keep tapping me for more money even though it clearly was not working for me (despite my strictly adhering to all advice and instructions). For example, the requirement that I pay another £135 consulting fee to have another prescription issued without being given the information I needed to make the judgement about whether a third medication stood any greater chance of efficacy. You may recall that I asked whether the proposed drug worked in the same way as the first two as if the answer was yes, it seemed pointless to keep taking drugs that were not working for me. I was told that you couldn’t answer the question as you were not medically qualified, which meant that the only way to obtain the answer was to pay the additional fee. I felt it would be a simple matter for you to ask the prescribing doctor this question or provide me with an email address so I could ask, without incurring a £135 charge. Additionally, if the alternative medication does work in the same way as the previous two, I question why it would be suggested in the first place given the unlikelihood that it would be any more effective.

The Sinclair Method has been highly effective in helping me achieve my objective of quitting alcohol completely. The Naltrexone ensured that as I tapered down my alcohol consumption, the absence of any buzz from the alcohol meant that I never felt the urge to keep on drinking from a glass of wine to several bottles, as previously.

I'm an Advanced Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist working in alcohol and addiction daily.

I had my own issues with alcohol over an 8 year period. I must say that nothing has been even remotely as effective as Naltrexone for removing the link between alcohol and reward.

There are early side effects, those went away swiftly for me, leaving just the very potent (and quite unusual) effect of feeling the harm that alcohol always does, without any of the pleasure.

The naltrexone works by unlinking the connection between the reward centre of your brain and the substance. After following the steps accurately, I was able to eradicate any form of cravings, and for me this happened with smoking too, posisbly because the two for me are connected, more research is being done on that.

I highly recommend Joanna and the Sinclair Method to anyone who really seriously wishes to end their relationship with alcohol.

What I would add is that you need to commit to this and follow it properly. Stretching the rules and skipping steps does not work.

I started TSM in January, and I've been pretty blown away by its effectiveness.

For me, the struggle was that as soon as I’d my first sip of wine, I’d already be thinking about the next. Over the years, this led to messy nights and an awful lot of anxiety.

TSM has helped change that. I'm now finding I'm able enjoy a glass socially without the persistent urge for more. This me a sense of peace as I can actually look forward to a drink with pals without the fear things will spiral.

Just as importantly, the team have been great. Adrian’s warmth and encouragement has meant I've felt truly supported. Highly recommended.

The Sinclair Method and their contacts have been amazing. The process has been seemless with lots of advice back up and any questions answered immediately. I really don't know why more people are not made aware of the fantastic alternative that they offer. I can't recommend them and their methods more highly.

I was hesitant at first to believe that there could be such a simple, non-judgmental answer to the problem of drinking - let's say - more than one would like! And if it there was, why hadn't I heard about it before. Happy to rate my experience with The Sinclair Method and confirm that it is in straightforward, non-intrusive and requires no willpower at all to bring your alcohol consumption down to modest to negligible levels.
