I sharpen and repair beauty shears as a business. My clients earn their livelihood with their shears. One client’s shears nreds a new tension spring. I decided to order a kit of assorted springs so I would have more spares. In a Google search my usual sources didn’t have the spring assortment in stock except SK Sissors. Since they advertised that they had them in stock I ordered from them. It has now been several weeks. I have sent status requests every week and to their credit they answer quickly. At first the answers were always that they were waiting for a few spring plates that were not in stock. After several weeks they finally sent an email that my order was ready to ship along with the UPS Tracking Number. I waited a week and then checked the tracking number and UPS said that the label was created but that the package was not yet in their possession to actually ship. I requested another status update and received a quick reply with an apology that they would check into it and get back to me. I still have not received the springs and the next communication that I received was this review. Setting and meeting expectations is one of the most important parts of customer service. SK Scissors failed by setting expectations that they could not meet. Still waiting for the promised and purchased shipment of springs.
