I thought I bought a one month pass…

I thought I bought a one month pass Sept-Oct but I just discovered that they have been charging me monthly ever since. I got it to watch one game! I feel duped! I’m hoping they will give me a free 5 month extension so that I can at least use it but won’t hold my breath. I’ll change my rating if they do.

Avoid SKY TV

You use to be able to contact Sky TV via an 0800 number no longer.

My Sky allows you to add more products to your subscription but will not let you remove products so you have to go through the tortuous process of trying to speak to someone at Sky TV. Of course they don't want you to remove anything as they lose revenue so they make it as hard as possible to achieve this. You wait and wait and wait for someone to speak to.

FYI most of Sky TV's starter and entertainment channels are now free when you buy a smart TV as these channels are bundled in.

What a poor service and thats been…

NEON ! - What a poor service and thats been polite. Started paying $23.00 per month and within 2 days service dropped off, programs froze and a black screen on the TV. They sugest poor connection low internet speeds but Every other app works fine and speeds are great. Such a shame as content looks great.
Dont pay for this service it is really shit and a total waste of money.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Sky TV has been a complete failure in both billing and usability

Avoid Sky TV. They continued charging me monthly fees for four months after I cancelled my service. Despite customer service admitting the error and promising a refund, I am still getting harassed by their credit department with new invoices.
​To make matters worse, their system cannot handle customers with multiple properties. I was forced to create separate logins for my two addresses, which made tracking bills a nightmare and led to further overcharging. Their internal systems are chaotic and anti-consumer.

Worst ever dont get it. Tried to cancel twice. They ring u try offer u deal ect. Told them no twice. They still havent told me where to return box ect. And still charge me

Worst company ever!!

Worst company ever!!! Broadband sucks always cuts out and slow even on the highest speed most expensive plan I won't be going another year with SKY NZ unfortunately...

Can't wait to be able to cancel Sky subscription in 2026

Repeats, repeats, repeats, wtf are we paying for??? Can't wait for subscription to end, then bye bye shit tv. Sky TV is like a parking building ... more disabled car parks or sports channels in this case than actual normal shows. Not everyone wants to watch sports desk discussions, darts or old repeated rugby games. If you want customers put good non repeated shows on and wtf with the two new/old music channels you seem to have dusted off from the back of the closet...do not sign up for expensive lack lustre tv...Sky Television sucks like an 80s dance move.

I just changed to SKY internet.
I was offered it at $50 a month for a year there after $55.
My first invoice charged $60 a month, so I rang to sort it out and she checked my phone conversation, said yes that is what you were offered,we'll fix it and send out new invoice, ignore and don't pay old one
Then I got a txt saying I missed paying my bill,
rang again..........
they refused to acknowledge that I had been offered it at $50 even though I know they went back and checked phone conversation.
Communication is horrific, no emails upon joining welcoming me or confirming the contract and price.
Again avoid like the plague

Good Broadband Experience…

Two months ago I transferred our Broadband to Sky, Since then we have experienced fast (940) mbs and reliable transmission without one dropout.
I have read a lot of negative reviews of the Sky Router supplied but coverage is better and faster than the Orbi system that it replaced.
Good on you Sky

Poor no show

Set time for installation.
Rang mid day to confirm installation still going ahead. Told yes.
In the end no one turned up and no phone call to advise.
Took half day of work and loss of pay.
Hopeless

The app doesn’t work properly it stops and starts and bad quality us New Zealand er deserve better quality sports on our tv
As business you have to make sure you customers are happy under the consumer guarantee make sure we get our money worth and miss the one week pass you still haven’t fixed

They advertise a deal for $80 a month and then bill you for $118 and say that $118 is correct. You ask for someone to contact you personally and they ignore you. Biggest bunch of incompetent rogues I've ever dealt with. I am just not paying until I speak to someone intelligent and they bill what we agreed to. Already notified the commerce commision as I'm not the only one it seems.

Customer service useless

No 0800 these days, kept me on hold for 10 mins and still failed to confirm they'd done a simple request I.e. change my payment cycle so I paid on the 1st of the month, rather than getting my ac mid month & being charged for late payment when I pay on the first of the month as I have for the past 20 years !

Unhappy customer

Ever since we've changed over to the knew white sky box iv had trouble with it clutching having to turn the sky unit off for a min so it will work better it pisses me off this is suppose to be a up grade and to be better then the old sky box I'd prefer to have the old unit any day, iv rung them up about it and all they say is we are working on the problem through the satel light which hasn't changed we pay our money to get good TV streaming its not worth it when your watching your favorite program or a movie on Netflx and it keep clutching cutting out it does my head in how about you fix the problem its not good enough.

Surely this is unacceptable in the modern world. I’d have taken some crappy AI chat or advice over waiting for so long.

Finally got told where in the cue I was after 28 minutes (6th) and that my wait time would be 1-2 minutes. Another ten minutes…

Absolutely atrocious lack of support from a company in a tech industry.

Terrible customer support

Terrible customer support.

Felt like I was being asked to jump through meaningless loops. Online support was utter crap. Currently been waiting to speak to someone via phone for 21 minutes with no notification of where in the cue I am.

Internet down for almost 8 hours. It's funny how they know you're offline when you check on their app, but they don't proactively message you or anything to try to make things right before it becomes an issue. For a tech company this should be an easy fix but - no.

Dreadful company.
