Wow, did tandem skydive 14000ft. What an out of this world experience. I would do it again and again. From start to finish was 100% perfection. Staff are like one big family. Plus raised money for a worthy cause SPARE10FORBEN.. people need to do this like because you can not put into words how amazing this is....

Wow! What an incredible experience!

Did a charity sky dive today from 14,000 feet and loved every second of it!

Customer service was brilliant right from the start. I had to reschedule due to personal commitments but they were extremely helpful and it was absolutely no problem.

The day was well organised. Instructions were emailed several weeks in advance so it was clear what I had to do. The check in and training were both efficient and clear. The facilities while waiting to jump were really good.

A big shout out to Dave who guided me through the jump in a very calm and professional manner which made feel calm and never gave me cause to worry, meaning I could just enjoy the whole experience.

Would love to do it again! 😃

I did a tandem jump with Dave last weekend and would recommend him and Skyhigh to anyone. Throughout, the event was well organised and we were full of confidence in the whole team. Such an amazing experience.

I booked a tandem sky dive 13,500ft for myself & two daughters on the 10/08/25 Ant & Amy were brilliant, Ant kept me up to date from start to finish, Amy captured some cracking photos and video footage. What a brilliant day we had, we've booked again for the 31/08/25 I would recommend this experience to anyone

What an amazing experience this was! The ultimate adrenaline rush jumping from 13,500ft. All staff was very professional and my instructor "Dave Taylor" made me feel very comfortable, he was clear and consise when giving instructions and was also very professional. Just completed my first tandem skydive and want to thank the whole team at skyhigh Shotton for providing a professional exciting experience especially Charlie my instructor who fitted my kit and put me completely at ease from the start to end a truly memorable morning from start to finish thank you.

I completed my first tandem skydive on Saturday 08 august 2024 and all I can say is wow, wow, wow.
This was something that I've always wanted to do but thought was out of reach and would never happen.
After getting booked in at reception and doing the safety brief I had a bit of a wait due to weather , I was then introduced to Ant my instructor and Fly was my camera man.
Ant and Fly were absolutely amazing and talked and joked with me from the moment we met till the moment we landed putting any fears I was having straight in the bin and the video package was like a Hollywood quality movie to be cherished for ever, (guys you are legends man).
Words cant explain how amazing this experience was for me and how amazing the guys were.
I am seriously considering going all out for my licence now(definitely another tandem at least) and its all down to sky-high and the amazing team.
I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again and thank you both again for making it the day that it was.

Myself and my youngest son Matthew, completed our first tandem skydive today from 15,000 ft in memory of my Mum who passed away from cancer in January this year. We raised over £2500 for St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham.

The whole day was exceptional from start to finish with incredibly helpful staff and outstanding instructors…both Ant (who was with myself) and Dave (Matts instructor) were expertly professional as well as being very informative and fun, having a laugh with us both to calm the nerves.

We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending SkyHigh Skydiving to anyone.

My first jump was today and at 15000ft so I was naturally a little nervous as most would be but with many thanks to my Tandem instructor Ant Andrews I had an amazing experience.
Ant communicated with me at every step so by the time it was our turn to jump I was a lot more confident which made the day fantastic.
All in all a great experience and can't thank Ant enough!

Absolutely zero customer service. Shocking and rude staff. No one seems to have a clue about anything and lie after lie after lie is told. They refuse you a refund and keep changing the goalposts when you try to get them.

Appalling attitudes and even worse by the fact that recently someone died there! Wouldn’t ever recommend them to anyone. Absolute bunch of cowboys and rip off merchants.

All lovely till you need a refund then it’s nothing but lies despite you having evidence

Oh Boy! Did a Charity jump with Sky High Skydiving this weekend, I was the most nervous, oldest and least fit member of the group. Due to a miscommunication with the Charity there were some important documentation hold ups so we had a whole morning to sweat it out.

By the time our group was headed to the plane I was shaking like a convulsive Elvis impersonator.

Dave is the man! He kept me calm, talked me through everything, as the plane went up he kept checking in.

And then he threw us out.

Ohhhhhh wow!

Consistent checking in, the actual freefall was amazing, I felt as safe as you can plummeting at 120mph...

I even got to steer the chute!

And I'm going back! Just you try and stop me! Life-changing! The following day I drove over the Humber Bridge for the first time without even noticing.

Sadly I wasn't in a position to get the Handcam Video at the time, so, you know... it's a good reason to jump again!

Hi all, I jumped on 18th Feb 2024. Absolutely Amazing. I was supposed to skydive the day b4 but due to weather was not possible. They do tell you to plan 4 a days wait incase of weather. Finally did my jump and best experience of my life. Allready planning my next jump. Staff are fantastic. Cannot fault. Do do it!!!!

What a class day ,mother nature played a part had to wait for the rain. But well well waiting for amazing buzz jumped from 15000 feet ,no words ,just give it a go wow wow ,Dave my instructor was so cool and collective,Sam the camera man 11 out of 10 ,,,just go and have a go,and you will say the same as me ,,how do you top this!!!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Excellent experience doing the 15,000 tandem for me and my sons. Ally, Dave and Lewis (Biscuit) were great and helped make it such a great day. Spot on facilities, all the staff were welcoming, lovely breakfast too. Thanks everyone

Awesome experience, a bit of a delay for weather but understandable . A special thank you to Dave my instructor could see I was nervous but was very professional and clear with his instructions and I did not feel unsafe at anytime with him also thank you to Blake the cameraman great video perfect reminder of an awesome day could not recommend this enough

Disappointing Experience with Communication and Service

I am writing this review to share my disappointment with the overall experience I had with Sky High Skydiving. I purchased a voucher as a special 50th birthday present for my husband, hoping to give him a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, our encounters with the company have left us with a significant lack of faith in their ability to provide the service we paid for.

We initially booked the skydiving experience for 8 am as advised. We eagerly waited all day for my husband's turn to jump, he was placed in the last group by that time, the wind had picked up, making it unsafe to proceed. Obviously we understood the necessity of the cancellation for safety reasons.

We booked to attend the skydiving centre for a second time. Once again, my husband was placed in the third group, but unfortunately, the wind once again hindered the jump. once again we fully understood the situation and acknowledged the need for safety precautions.

Hoping for a successful third attempt, we booked another visit, only to have the appointment cancelled due to technical issues with the plane. The staff advised us to rebook in the spring, for two reasons they were unsure how long the plane would be out of action and also as the weather would be more reliable at that time. Following their instructions, my husband contacted the company in May to reschedule his jump. However, he was taken aback when he was informed that he would need to pay a surcharge because his voucher had expired. He explained the previous conversation he had regarding rebooking, but the person he spoke to claimed to have no way of verifying the information, mentioning that the staff member he had spoken with had since left. While an extension of a week was offered, unfortunately, my husband was unable to attend due to his daughter's wedding.

In my attempts to reach out to the company for a refund, I encountered misinformation at every turn. Dates were changed, names were altered, and they even tried to suggest that we wanted to change the name on the voucher to mine (even though I have an intense fear of flying). This level of miscommunication has only added to our disappointment throughout this entire experience.

It is worth noting that my situation may be an isolated incident, and I hope that others have had more positive experiences with Sky High Skydiving. However, considering the amount of £285 that we paid for the voucher, I strongly advise anyone who encounters a cancellation to obtain written confirmation to ensure that their voucher is appropriately extended.

In conclusion, my experience with Sky High Skydiving has been extremely disappointing due to the lack of effective communication and the inability to provide the service we paid for. I hope that the company takes steps to address these issues and improve their customer service and reliability in the future.

For a person who has a fear of heights this was going to be the last on my bucket list, wow what a team, everyone was so friendly (and the coffee was great), I put my life in the hands of Nathan (literally) and I am still alive, you have to try it, he put my mind at rest and we even had a chat after the chute opened on the way down as if we were sat on a train or bus, I was in "panic mode" when I arrived at the take off point thinking this was a bad move but I was proved wrong, Nathan was so laid back and gave me a feeling of confidence, one downside was the trolley dollies never come with the duty free drinks on the flight, I will be back sooner than you think, thanks team.

I had the absolute time of my life today. Thank you to Nathan in particular for doing the tandem with me - I can't thank you enough. He went above and beyond his job role - chatting to me and putting me at ease, making sure I had the best experience possible. The experience was so good that I'm genuinely considering a career change to do skydiving professionally.
