When I received the item it was way to small so I contacted customer service they said they ship a new one larger size that was in January never got it, Would never recommend this company.

Well it's been over a month and I haven't received my package there's one sign of movement which was posted just yesterday (once again over a month since I ordered) considering this package.

Slow delivery if it ever appears at all.... I've bought items and never recieved them so be very wary if you order anything it is hit and miss

I've read the reply ... but I never got the items I paid for so a quicker postage is worthless If I dont ever get what I have paid for..... don't be fooled, they have my money and the product...I got nothing...it's called stealling or fraud....

Good customer service

Good customer service. The camera is easy to operate. Good picture except when you zoom in. Operation instructions in booklet are too small to read without magnifying glass. Over all it seems to work great.

Now a satisfied customer

After my initial poor review I was contacted by the company and they explained the matter I had problems with which was well appreciated by me . I am satisfied the problem was not with them but issues due to the current world situation. I am now confident my item will arrive soon. It speaks well of a company that addresses customer concerns. ONCE Smartgoods heard of my complaint they responded straight away and resolved my issue .i can only say thank you to smartgoods for acting so swiftly i would use this company again and would recommend it to other people a lot of companies would of took your money and run, thankyou

Is there a warranty on their products?

[Edited - see further comments below] I am rating this product at 1 star for a very good reason, which I will explain. I purchased two of these units a few months ago and was impressed with them. I installed them at our holiday home and all seemed well. A few weeks ago, one of the units failed completely. I got a neighbour to go in and reset it, but to no avail. A couple of weeks ago, the second unit failed in respect of the night-time illumination - total blackness between dusk and dawn, which is not too good for a security camera!

OK, I thought, these things happen. I'll contact the supplier - which I did. "What are your warranty terms?" I asked. "We offer 30-day returns", they said. I pointed out that this was not what I had asked, and queried what they were going to do about my non-functional cameras. After telling me how important their customer service was to them, they said - and I quote - "According to our refund policy, we cant exchange your products.". And that's the last I have been able to get from them. Nothing more. Nada.

So, if you are tempted to buy their products, be aware -THEY HAVE NO WARRANTY! If the thing goes wrong, hard luck - you are stuck with it! I find it hard to believe that a company "based in the USA" as they proudly proclaim, can refuse to repair or replace faulty goods. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

[Additional comments] This review prompted an immediate response from the company's CEO who considered that my experience was unacceptable, and offered replacement units. This is to be applauded and I have accepted his offer. I will make a further update when the replacement units arrive.

[Further update] Well, the replacement cameras arrived as promised, so they get an extra star for that! I still have reservations about the reliability and resilience of the product itself, but if these units prove to work over a reasonable period, I will happily look at this aspect again.

Their camera works great especially at night. The playback is very clear. This is the feature that I've been looking for in a cctv.

Ordering the camera was very simple

Ordering the camera was very simple, and I needed help setting it up, and they were very helpful with the set up. I was up and running in less than 5-6 minutes I would say.
