No stars is what I would prefer
No stars is what I would prefer. They are a scam. They take money as a subscription even when you did not sign up for this service, once you do the £1 trial this is what you can expect. Avoid this company.
Never signed up for the service
Firstly, I’m only giving 1 star because there isn’t an option to give 0 stars. I never signed up to this service but £29.90 is pending on my back account. I’ve reported it as fraud to my bank, hopefully the payment can be stopped.
smartmobi.com
smartmobi.com. They stick QR codes on parking machines to trap the unwary. You think you're paying for parking but you're signing up for some nonexistent fina phone service. Tesco bank have now added them to their stop list.

Just noticed a second transaction from Servmobile!
Just noticed a second transaction from these thieves on a Credit Card that was intentionally 'frozen' by me a while back.
It comes up with at least this 'label' on Card. PXT*PXT*servmobile.com. Avoid like the plague a Company called 'Locate my phone'

ITS A SCAM TO GET MONEY FROM YOU. DONT BE ENTICED BY THE INITIAL OFFER OF FINDING YOUR PHONE FOR 95p. AS SOON AS YOU AGREE, IT WILL SET UP AUTHORISATION FOR REGULAR MONTHLY PAYMENTS VIA CARD ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. Notified my bank to monitor my account, however, l dont think l will get the £24.90 this company has charged for a service l did not receive.
Complete scam
Complete scam. Paid a few pence to find my phone months ago. I did not in fact find my phone using the location they sent, it wasn't even clear to me where that location was supposed to be. Now some some months later they've tried to take £25 out of my bank. I never signed up to any subscription. Disputing this with bank

Can't give 0 star scam avoid at all costs
Can't give 0 star. I used the smartmobi geolocation service, once, in July 2022. My sister had mislaid her phone and was frantic, she couldn't remember her gmail password so i couldn't use the free "google find my device". I tried smartmobi for a one off £1 fee. It didn't work, belatedly sending a map of UK email some two days later.
Here's the nasty bit. On their website where you click to pay for £1 from card IF you scroll to the very last section of their site, to the very last page and past any other text a pop up message appears and then disappears, if you don't hover there, stating smartmobi are now going to take a monthly direct debit charge of £29.40 ad infinitum every month (I am not sure it even appears if you have certain adblock or pop up blockers installed on your phone). These are unauthorised push payments and are illegal.
I was in UK visiting my sister and had multiple debit card charges for many things and didn't notice at first the charge as it said mobi on statement and i thought it was a mobile phone topup charge i was using. It was not. I did call them after eventually noticing that first bogus charge and spoke to their "customer service representative" and complained. She said she would cancel, foolishly I took her at face value, she did not.
They took further charges from my card in the following 3 months ( yes, I should have checked my statements earlier). I cancelled via their dedicated pxsmartmobibsite. As this is run by smartmobi I'm pretty sure that does nothing too and just let's them steal more money.
Contact your bank it's the only way. I have also contacted ActionFraud, Citizen's Advice, Which, National Cyber Crime Agency and Ofcom thus far about these charlatans that prey on people when they're just flustered trying to find their mislaid or lost phone
If there would be 0 stars
If there would be 0 stars, this company would get it. Like the other reviews here, the website asked me for the phone number and email stating they located the lost phone and they can send me the address for 1£, no other info or T&C on the website. After paying it, link was sent with a map of Britain with no address. Then a day later I was charged 29.65 for a subscription so had to call my bank to cancel the bank card as this is a scam. AVOID
Update: After back and forth emails where I stated that I acknowledged I'd be happy to pay the subscription if the actual phone location was shared, I managed to get the refund of the subscription charge. Don't get hooked up on the subscription element but focus on the non existent service.

Absolute scammers when phoned they initially denied it was the same company, then tried to extract more personal information from me, presumably to enable them to commit future fraud. Asked if they were based in the UK told no we are in England. Avoid at all costs appartently somewhere in the small print on their site if you click on their site it says you have authorised monthly payments etc, Avoid at all costs.

Lost phone so paid £0.95p on their locator site. I actually found it at my home but locator gave an incorrect address. I received no e mail notification just a text locator giving the wrong location. Six days later they took a further £36.95 from my account. Currently talking to my bank. DONT USE THESE GUYS THEY ARE A SCAM. Trade on the web under Locatemyphone.co.uk. Also states Sunstream Digital Ltd
Absolutely disgusting company
Absolutely disgusting. Scammed me like the rest of the people. I rang up to say i had not agreed to any subscription and he said i have! I didn't and i never received an email or nothing from them!! And they don't even track the phone either that you pay the £1 for!! Stay away!!
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible, similar issues with other users. Took 4 separate payments for £24.90 out of my account each month and the company isn’t contactable, phone rings out and when you get through they pretend they can’t hear you but unsure if the machine is automated or not
Basically I lost my mobile
Basically I lost my mobile, I attempted to track it through google with no luck, so I then looked online to track my mobile via another method, and PXP SMARTMOBI company came up clearly stating that it would cost only 50p to track my mobile, this fraud of a company then stole £50 out of my account, I have tried to contact them with no response so I reported this company to my fraud dept of my bank, I WOULD ADVISE STRONGLY NOT TO USE THIS AWFUL COMPANY STAY WELL CLEAR OF THESE COWBOYS!!
