I’m very disappointed to say I have shopped here for many years.
Today I had phoned ahead to see if they had any portable gas hobs ahead of the storm. I was told over the phone that yes there was some still left, I rushed to the store with my disabled son and was there within half an hour of the phone call.
When inside the guy standing at the till took one look at us and rudely said there was none left, then he asked my Name and when I said I had just phoned in 30 mins ago he said the last one was sold 10mins prior to me arriving. That was fine, except when my partner rang again 10mins after I left the store he was told yes there was still some in stock and not only that but two different kinds to choose from!!
Not sure whether staff are discriminating me because I had brought my disabled child with me or because I was a woman, but ask anyone with a child with special needs how hard it is to get out in the first place only to feel like you are being made a fool out of.
I will never step foot in this shop again and would rather spend my money in bigger chain stores from now on.
