I advise people to check all reviews online before making any decision. My first order was ok, BUT after that I had a dreadful experience and in the end stepped away. Customer service is beyond terrible

Well I felt compelled to write a review!
I ordered a Steely Dan - Aja - UHQR Clarity Vinyl - 45rpm 200g 2LP it was not cheap! It was ordered 18th December and on the 20th I read the reviews below and I was concerned even to the point of looking on Company House to find that the limited company had only recently been formed. I sent an email asking about delivery, a response came back quickly. The item arrived today 21st December and I am delighted. It may be that the owner went through a problematical time previously. However I can only give feedback on my own, first time experience. I hope this experience can be shared by others in the future.

Ordered a copy of Hooker n Heat from this site on 23rd Sept 2024. Noticed no facility for card or Paypal payments, should have seen the Red Flags. When I emailed for payment details he requested a bank transfer, yes, another Red Flag missed. Payed promptly them waited. Several weeks and no delivery. Several emails and finally told he'd only ever had THREE copies and they'd already sold, no explanation why he took my order AND money. Meanwhile the album was STILL up on his site!! After a while he offered if I wanted to wait for a repress or return my money. Stupidly I said I'd give him till Christmas then a day later I went back and said, no, I'll have my money back. Email 'send me your bank details' so did. Waited a few days and nothing then a parcel arrived with THE WRONG album although the invoice clearly showed the right one. Got back 'sorry just found it and posting it off. but guess what he was referring to the parcel I'd already received.
All this time he's STILL listing Hooker N Heat as available!! Not sure whether he's incompetent or a not-very clever scammer.

A total fraudster. Refuses to acknowledge your purchase , refuses to send goods. Refuses to refund you. Never buy anything from this scam site. All you get is a tirade of bull***t.

Seriously unreliable and poor service!
After a wait on 21 weeks for my order of 4 albums (£213), I’d sent 26 emails, 3 requests for a refund and only had 6 responses… I’d had enough I got my refund via the credit card provider!
The company wasn’t interested in fulfilling my order, and when emailed again to ask if they would like to fulfill a new order… they said… “sorry can’t help”.
Be warned!!

I’ve purchased from SNVINYL for quite a few years and got to class Scott as a friend. He was always helpful in providing recommendations for new vinyl to try.
On occasions the shipping was slow, I could get albums from the USA quicker, but his range of audiophile vinyl and prices was very good!
It can take upto s week to get an email reply… or not as the case may be!
However, in MAY THIS YEAR, I made two orders in total for 5 albums… ALL were ‘In Stock’.
I must have sent 20-30 emails and still sending! I’ve asked for a refund 3 times (the last one today!).
He shipped one album last week, but I recieved a totally different album with a note saying… out of stock, in lieu of!!
I’m still waiting on 4 audiophile albums valued £213.46p which he says are to follow!
5 MONTHS AND STILL WAITING… AN ABSOLUTE INSULT TO ME AS A LONG TERM CUSTOMER, AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
So sad… sorry Scott… but as you know, it’s the truth!

I suspect the business is a front for something else or in financial trouble. HMRC would do well to investigate... Ordered a Mofi vinyl LP and after a month I email and get the famous 'order number to follow' email. And of course it never does. Followed up twice with no reply and after an email to trading standards and mofi with him copied he surfaces. I gave him an ultimatum and eventually the record arrived. Mofi said he hadn't purchased anything from them in a very long time and he sources from elsewhere. You'd do well to avoid this individual.

First time customer so was put off a little by the reviews, but thought I'd give him a try.
I asked if the vinyl was actually in stock and got an almost instant reply confirming it was. Paid for it on the Saturday and received it Wednesday which is good for the remote Highlands. Excellent premium packaging to ensure no damage which there wasn't. So no complaints here.

What a joke. Ordered artistic record sleeves at the beginning of June. Still haven’t received them. Only had one email from company, and have had to challenge the transaction payment with my bank. I would suggest that you avoid this company at all costs. I am unsure if they are UK based as the email I received was written in very poor English.

I approached SN Vinyl before reading any reviews, otherwise I would have avoided them. The good news is the first order appeared, so that's positive. However, then what followed was a series of surreal and bizarre exchanges. I went from being an initially happy customer, to being a confused customer to tearing my hair out. Despite many polite e-mails I could get any ETA for the remaining ordered albums (over 250+ quid) Typical excuses were "I'm a one man band" "I've not had a holiday for 16 years" etc Crucially SN Vinyl state in their own terms that they do not charge credit cards until they ship items. This is 100% not true as I and countless others have discovered. After lots of pressure SN did a partial refund that made no sense to myself or Amex, who promptly refunded me as it was an open and shut case of not completing the order. So, if you are brave enough to roll the dice and order anything, always use a credit card, ask for ETA up front, point out their own terms and conditions ahead of time. Personally IMO the responses are too erratic and I've never seen any company with such terrible feedback online. Customers are furious about the lack of communication, not refunding monies and generally avoiding any kind of accountability. I'm amazed that the company is still trading which is a shame as it makes people wary of ordering online. CAVEAT EMPTOR

Given 1 star because I can’t give a minus grade. In my experience this ‘seller’ takes your money and fails to supply goods. When queried advises shipped but this is just a delaying tactic. Steer clear.

Ordered an LP from the website. Invoice paid on 30th April and Comms went quiet immediately. Took several chasing emails (first was responded to with the now infamous "tracking number to follow" - never did) before record arrived 24 days later. Had to threaten chargeback and trading standards to elicit any action.

Record is new and was well packaged. A lucky escape considering.

Like others I have not received what I ordered and have had no communication from them despite chasing.

Seller not recommended. The goods were paid for immediately and never arrived at their destination. Misleading and incomplete communication.

As with others - credit card charged on day of order (not when dispatched as it states in T's & C's). "10 copies of vinyl in-stock". No album, no answer on phone numbers and no responses to email. Thanks to Barclaycard, money retrieved in 6 weeks. Avoid like the plague

An update to my last review on here which was very negative about this company regarding the non refund for the SACD I returned. Alex or Scott Nangle keep saying they have refunded me when they haven't, the latest email two days ago was "Have just refunded you" and there is still no sign of it. This person Alex/Scott or whatever he calls himself is just playing games imo and obviously has no intention of refunding me or a lot of others from what I read in other reviews here. I have only written the one previous review on here about them but to cap it all when I checked it yesterday someone has written a glowing review using my name saying 'what a good company they are with excellent service and I would use them again etc etc'. .. I wonder who that could be? I don't think we need 3 guesses. Someone like Trading Standards should take this cheating company off the internet and off Facebook where they are also conning people.

Straight forward shopping experience for me.
Ordered a replacement cartridge for my turntable. An email query was responded to almost immediately and the order shipped the next day.

So, I’ve learned that my negative experience with this company was in fact a very lucky near miss!!

I placed an order via their slightly obscure website for a second headshell for my Denon DP300F turntable. This part is the PCL-310 and is available in either Black or Silver - I had ordered the black to correspond with my TT.

I receive an oddly formed email from Scott a short time later that said:

“Many thanks for the order #####
1/ Silver - in stock
2/ Black - 6/8 weeks from china
advise to proceed & will email a invoice
rgds
sn”

I advised that I still wanted the Black and got this back…

“no problem will cancel
spares for chinese decks are special order / non stock due to shocking quality
uk / europe ./ japan only in stock
rgds
scott”

I naturally enquired as to why this was the case, given that the parts are advertised for sale on the site and was treated to this reply:

“black - non stock ( made in china for a $1 ) terrible quality
NO chinese turntable spares are stocked ( special order items only )
100s of non chinese headshells in stock if required
rgds
scott”

So, overall I tried to order an item that they were advertising for sale and then when I ordered it essentially berated me for ordering it… Very, Very odd!! Nowhere on the website does it say that it’s a crime to order the Black headshell nor was that evident in his first reply! Even stranger was he sent me a very long list of headshells as alternatives that included the one I had tried to order…

All I can say is avoid this charlatan at all costs. I’m very glad I’ve not parted with any money and can now contribute to trying to help people avoid the ridiculous services that this guy is offering!! Please, shop elsewhere!!

I am still waiting for a £185 order 2 months after ordering it.
I have tried emailing them 4 times now and no reply.
The number on their website is disconnected.
They take your money and don't send the order.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS OUTFIT !!!
