I had a specific requirement that I said to the salesperson at the start and was assured the product fitted that requirement. After committing to the order it transpired a few days later that the assurance was not correct. I had someone with me who heard the assurance. The salesperson denied that the assurance had been made and I ended up having to cancel the order and lost my deposit and incurred a further cancellation fee. Basically Sofology got £419 for nothing as they couldn’t have incurred any costs as my issue was raised within a few days of me signing the contract and I was given a timeframe of 9 weeks before it would be made / delivered. I went through their customer services team and their escalation process but they refused to give me a full refund. I tried the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman but that was a waste of time as despite going through their process as required and putting my case and saying from the outset that it was a mis-selling issue , when they made their ruling they said that kind of issue was not within their remit. I have contacted citizens advice and they have forwarded my complaint to local trading standards. Sofology are very keen to get reviews of your experiences quickly, based on your initial experience in the shop and despite my issue,I can see why they rate highly. But, as other reviews based on what happens after that initial experience show , things often aren’t so positive in a number of different ways. This was my first experience of Sofology and will definitely be my last and if friends, family and colleagues etc. mention they are after sofa products I will be sharing my experience with them.

Found out later that taking the interest free credit option has generated at least six credit searches against me. Why not just one? How will this impact on my credit score next month?

Told delivery in 14 days. Nine days later, still no update re delivery.
Initial good impressions let down by subsequent events (or lack of them)

Staff are not pushy , great range of products.
Easy to use the online account.
The Ipswich team are all super lovely. I've been in multiple times during the process of buying our first home and have had good experiences with all of the staff I've met. Nikola helped us get our sofa ordered this week and I couldn't fault her!

We went in just to have a look last sunday and saw Nicola and she was soo helpful, happy and not too pushy.
We came back the following week to order after measuring up and saw Nicola again.
