Great!

I ordered 2 heated vests and was so satisfied with them that I attempted to reorder another as a gift. I ran into a snag with the recipient’s address (after I had placed the order). I called customer service and their rep, Sam, was incredibly helpful in correcting the address. I really can’t even imagine a better customer experience!
The vests are very lightweight, which we like and doesn’t impact our golf swing. For us, we’re more apt to play golf on chillier days with these vests!

This a GREAT company

This a GREAT company. I had a 1 inch cut in my vest and emailed them. That day they sent out a new vest, no questions asked. Every one was so helpful.

Would buy from them again!

One note the vests run small, so order at least one size larger.

It's an interesting concept

It's an interesting concept, but the battery is crap. I brought a second battery because they first one just stopped working. The second battery does not heat the vest for very long.

I ordered a size small and while it got…

I ordered a size small and while it got here very quickly the bag it was in had an L written on it and the invoice said it was a medium but the actual vest said it was a small. My wife tried it on and it was too big so I tried it on (I already have a medium which fits me fine) and it fit me perfectly. Trying to reorder one in the XS but no luck reaching anyone.

Do not heat up

Do not heat up. I ordered two as Christmas gifts and am ashamed I gave them. Have had more expense replacing my gifts. Brian, Chris and whoever else offered me one more vest. Why would I want another piece of garbage. No one offered to refund me or give me instructions on how to return them. Another senior citizen scam.

Total garbage product

Total garbage product. Both vests did not work out of the box. Asked for replacement or refund said I was past the 30 day return window. Said I could pay for two new ones at a price that was supposedly discounted but was more than I paid for the original ones. These were Christmas presents so no way to avoid the “30 day” return window. Crap product crap company. DON’T PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!11111

Cheap and You have to pay to return - waste of money

The product just looked very cheap and felt the same on. The fit wasn't right for anyone in my family. I was so excited about finally getting a good heated vest. I even bought 4 as I was tempted by the "savings". Everything about the product was cheap, including the zipper. I then reached out to return the vests, as it says 100% refund. I then found out that I have to pay for shipping and it can only be sent back by USPS. I paid $30 in shipping. Then when they refunded my money, I was not paid back the full amount as $10.49 was the amount I paid for them to ship the products to me in the first place. So, I wasted $40 to find out that these vested were definitely not worth the money or even the 50% discount they offered me to keep the product. DO NOT BUY!!!!

A complete scam

The Solana Gear lawyers think that they can gaslight people with their verbal diarrhea.
I fell into their trap as I did not perform the due diligence needed (my bad).
Do not believe the fake positive customer testimonials and do not be fooled by this scam artist company.
Do not waste your precious money on their garbage products.
I guarantee all of you that there will be a class action lawsuit against them very soon.

Customer Service

I had sent a vest to my brother for Christmas, and he loved it, but then it stopped working. Customer service answered my call and got right on the case with sending him a new one. And it arrived the very next day, just in time for the winter storm hitting the Midwest. So, I had excellent service and it was greatly appreciated!

I purchased a total of 9 vests in…

I purchased a total of 9 vests in different sizes. One order was for 7 vests and an additional order for 2 vests. These were Christmas gifts for my family. All were very happy with sizes accept 1 vest, ordered a medium and the packaging bag had an "M" for medium but the vest itself is marked 2XL. It is waaaay too big.
Everything has been opened and the battery pac was charged and installed by us before the vest was worn. I don't have a clue how to return or whom may if possible, resolve this issue for me.
So of 9 vests 8 are great and functioning as expected.

Only did 5 stars to get posted. Worst purchase. First only received half my order. One doesn’t work. The other only the pockets work. One didn’t come with a charger. And the sizing is terrible. Got a large which is my usual jacket size and I’m swimming in it. 0 stars!

Ordered two vests

Ordered two vests, one fore myself, and one for my wife. Hers has worked perfectly, but mine seemed defective in that the light switch did not function as described in the instructions. I wrote the company describing my problem, and got a response back within hours. They asked me to go through a problem solve routine that ended up identifying a problem with the vest, as opposed to the battery pack. A new vest is on the way. While no product is absolutely perfect all the time, i was impressed by their customer service, and my wife enjoys the warmth of her vest.

We purchased 3 vests

We purchased 3 vests. One of the batteries was malfunctioning and the customer service people were very helpful and they are sending me a replacement. I have been able to reach customer service with no problem at all and they have been extremely responsive and corrected the issue. I use my vest to play golf in the winter and have found it to provide very good warmth. It allows me to play with a layer or two less than I have needed in the past and it keeps my core area nice and warm. Overall, we have been very happy with Solana Gear.

Heated vests defective

Ordered 2 heated vests for Christmas. Neither vest would heat. Verified using a thermal gun and no difference in heat along vest. Customer support sent 2 replacement vests. Same problem as the first 2 sent. NO HEATING. Contacted customer service again and their options were 1) return the vests back at my cost for exchange and I would get 30% refund for my inconvenience (these are defective why are they charging me for exchange) 2) return the vests at my expense and after they receive the returned vests I can contact them again and request a refund minus original shipping charges.
Beware of this company!

Don’t order the wrong sizs

I was in between sizes so I ordered the recommended size (L). It was a touch too small but exchanging to Solana means me paying to ship it back to them and them refunding the vest. Then I have to reorder and pay to ship the new one! Terrible customer service.

I ordered a large vest with a battery…

I ordered a large vest with a battery pack. On arrival, the vest did not function properly. After numerous tests that I performed per customer support, they finally offered to ship another vest. I agreed. The second vest arrived and after testing it, it worked well.

The customer service is horrible

The customer service is horrible. After I placed my order (Friday), I immediately needed to modify it but could not do so on their website. I emailed and received a response(Sunday). I called Monday, but was advised the order had shipped. Why would they ship an order that needed to be modified? Whomever I spoke to said that they would send me a label to return the item. Called over a week ago...the representative told me they didn't provide label and that it was my own fault because I placed the order. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was told the supervisor would tell me that same thing. Insisted on a call back and was told I would be called in 24 hours. A week and 1/2 later, no call back. I called again and got another bad experience. Same scenario. Asked for a call back. Rep said they hoped I did get a call back. Don't buy from this company. You'll have a bad experience and won't receive satisfaction.
