Solseal Avis 

I ordered 8 cans of various sealants and sprays at a very reasonable price. Paid £7 for delivery. 5 days later, no delivery information or product in sight, so I phone. Only one product was in stock, the others hadn't been ordered in. Errors happen - I asked for a discount on the shipping fee, an estimated time-frame, and confirmation in writing; was told by the end of the week. Friday comes, no comms or delivery; I phone again. Products still weren't in stock due to supplier delays. A full refund was agreed; was told it would take 3 to 5 days. 4 days later, no refund, but I receive an email saying my order has been processed and sending me an invoice (confusing). 7 days after my call still no refund, I phone again. I'm told the refund has now been actioned. Fingers crossed. We know it's tough out there doing business but you need clear comms letting people know what's going on. Won't be using this company again I'm afraid and will go through the credit card company for a refund if nothing turns up. I'm done phoning!

Terrible company, poor customer service more or less accused me of lying when I haven’t received the product even though it had been delivered. Unfortunately it was left 2 metres from a public footpath, not in a safe place, so had clearly disappeared. STILL NOT RESOLVED!!

Placed an order for urgent delivery. The order never arrived so had to buy elsewhere. Then had to make 3 phone calls and write 2 emails to eventually get a refund. 2 employees promised to process the refund and then didn't.
Not an easy company to deal with. Was my first attempt at buying from them, probably won't try again.

Always attempt to avoid amazon etc where possible.

Found the solseal website and was a little offput by some of the reviews here.

Ordered over 100kg of paving sand and joint filler at 2200 on 28/4/26. Delivered intact and well packaged at 1000 on 30/4/26.

Superb service and would use again - many thanks.

Offered next day delivery . Received an email to say they didn't have it in stock. Going through process of a refund . Hopefully will get it .
Also couldn't get an answer on the phone

Wow. What a terrible company! They sell things they don’t actually have. So if they have an issue getting what they’ve sold you, then the problem is yours. This company sells building material. My job got held up by two weeks because they couldn’t get the items from the supplier I had purchased. Time is money!
Then after chasing them and chasing them, I finally got a refund, which they took 4 days to even put through. Then another 4-5 days to show in the bank.
I made the same purchase from another supplier called DIY refurb uk and it was £30 cheaper and here the next day.
Showed up what an appalling business model solseal heve. DIY refurb clearly only sell stock they actually have and DONT overcharge.
There are better companies. Do yourself a favour and save yourself the stress and headache of chasing around after a poor quality company.

There is no communication at all despite multiple call attempts. Had paid specifically with this company to get next day delivery on some essential materials needed for the weekend. 2/3 items arrived but the main one required was missing. Now almost a week later and still no item has been notified for dispatch and no replies to the emails sent.

I am a business wanting to open a pro forma account with this company. I contacted them numerous times but they say they will get it set up but unfortunately no action.

I am astonished with the treatment I have been given as no one seems to bother.

So I have used ProJoint Fusion All Weather Resin Jointing Compound for the first time. Not the best packaged product if it can get pin holes and cause it to go off. That's the manufacturers issue and they need to address it. So check before you open. It will be very obvious, well now that I know what to look for.

Having said that, their delivery time was brilliant, ordered before 3 on Friday arrived Monday morning. Sent photos of the spoilt product and without any hesitation they have replaced the product and with the same efficiency as the first order. Thank you.

I want to confirm what others have already written.
First class service by the company, providing the best cost product and at next day delivery with no additional charge.
Other firms could learn a lot from Solseal’s working practices.

Ordered two times from Solseal, always delivered next day, great customer service, happy with the service provided.

Would be a 5 stars If they used any currier other than DHL, 4 boxes arrived all smashed and some of the content coming off the boxes (ordered porcelain tile primer & grout), it's ok as I used the product straight after delivery, otherwise would have been a write-off.

I ordered some silka fastfix all weather mix at 1.30pm (I couldn't get any of the right colour locally) and it was delivered the next day at 10.30 am. I was able to finish pointing the patio before lunch time.very impressed with the quick turnaround.

I bought two tubs of this sika sand and tried it on part of my patio paving slabs at the time it looked fairly respectable and I followed the instructions impeccably as I always do when buying items that I don’t know anything about and now after about four weeks the sand in the joints is all coming loose and weeds are growing through the sand which specifically said it would not let weeds grow where I had sealed the joints I would love someone from whoever is the head over the sale of this product to come and see the total mess this has made of our patio I’m going to have to scrape all the joints out which is going to take a very long time and energy to do as I am 75 yrs old and put this rubbish down to try and keep the work down for myself I sincerely advise anyone thinking about putting down this product (Sika jointing sand) think again as I tell you this is absolute rubbish and would not buy it again even if it only cost £2 never mind what I originally paid 2 tubs £68 it’s not really the money but the time it cost me to put down and now the time it’s going to take me to scrape all the sand out of the joints I sincerely hope that trust pilot gets in touch with whoever manufactures this rubbish and I reiterate anyone thinking of buying this product don’t unless you want to waste your money and time if you intend doing it yourself.

I ordered from Solseal on Sunday. Best price by far and my delivery was here first thing Tuesday. So impressed I have ordered again. Great service, great price. I would highly recommend

Excellent service.
Ordered 25 litre can of Black Jack roof covering.
First delivery (via FedEx) arrived as though someone had played football wit it - distored, dented, damaged and leaking. Called customer services and they arranged a new item to be sent next day with no questions asked.
Surprise, surprise the second item (also via FedEx) was also damaged in transit and undelivered.
Called customer services again and they are sending 5 x 5 litre cans via next day delivery. (I hope FedEx have the sense to strap the items this time). We shall see but in relation to SolSeal they have gone above and beyond - thank you.

Did my new porcelain light grey patio with SIKI brush in grout ruined my patio left dark haze patches all over. Phoned SIKI not helpful at all just said not suitable for porcelain all videos show it been used on porcelain or I would not have used it. Terrible customer service
