We were supposed to get an appointment within a week of insurance company saying track and trace would happen. We didn't. No idea whose fault that was but it meant we had to even longer without running water. Engineer located problem and restored running cold water which are two positives from situation but left taps running which were supposed to drain system then stop. Five days later they are still going.

When a leak happens it's a very stressful time - you want to get the problem identified and dealt with asap - especially when it's buried behind a wall! Our engineer from SOS - Chris Wright - was excellent in that regard. He was clear about what he needed to do, very efficient in identifying the problem and it ensuring the leak was stopped. His calmness, friendliness, obvious expertise and great communication were all a part of a first class service experience. Thoroughly recommendable.

I am happy with the visits and the person but I don’t know who is being untruthful as what he says he is putting in the report is not what LV is telling me he said, totally different and nothing is covered is by insurance and I’ve got to rip it all out and pay myself and LV won’t let me see the sos reports even though it’s gdpr so , Chris told me not to touch anything ,LV have got to put it right , but they are saying he said the sealant and grout which I’m not covered for so 7 months of no work done and 3 visits from yourselves saying it all needs ripping out but LV are saying not

The company was very professional in first locating and then subsequently fixing a water leak in the downstairs cloakroom of our house. Karl from SOS is to be congratulated for his all his hard work despite the summer heat. We were impressed with SOS Leak Detection and would certainly use them again if necessary.

It looks like I'm not the only person to receive amazing service from Chris Wright. Chris attended my house a few weeks ago to trace a leak that had probably been ongoing since before I even bought it. Chris was really friendly and kept me informed with everything he was doing. He even had shoe covers he put on every time he entered the house, talk about respectful! I can't rate Chris and SOS Leak Detection highly enough. Hopefully I'll never need you again but if I do, I'll be happy to welcome Chris back into my home.

Luke was on time, polite, efficient, identified the problem within an hour and a half.

We had a water leak that was potentially underground. SOS came out and did a trace that suggested that the leak was underneath our dining room. We got a quote in excess of £10000 to reroute the underground pipework. While we were waiting for our insurance people to approve the work we noticed a problem with our hot water cylinder that was constantly venting water to relieve pressure. The pipe went into a guttering that was not obviously visible to us. A plumber fixed the problem and the 'leak' has gone. So we avoided an unnecessary and significant upheaval and cost to fix an underground leak that actually did not exist. We advised SOS but got no explanation as to how this could have happened. So be careful!

The engineer visited oromptly, respected my property, confirmed the floors were wet but unable to find any leaks or source of problem. Has suggested alternative avenues to persue.

We had a problem with an underfloor leak and our insurance company sent SOS Leak Detection to verify the souce of the leak and reccommend the best way to resolve the problem. They were excellent and used their state of the art equipment to trace the pipework and locate the source of the leak. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for our insurers to act on those reccomendations.

He explained very well even I understood what course the leak and what is the best solution.
Didn't take long to do all checks.
