Bought a starter kit for my husband and he made the most fantastic bread on the first attempt. Fabulous!

I ordered from overseas to send as a gift in the UK - Staff were so helpful adding a handwritten card. It was delivered quickly and was just beautiful.

Easy to use website, goods as described, kept up to date with the prompt delivery.

As a sourdough newbie I was a little confused about whether to order dry or wet starter, and probably got the wrong one. Then wasn't clear on the instructions as to how to mix the dry starter. But I called for help and got it promptly, and my first loaf turned out brilliantly, so I think the starter must be very good quality!

The starter I received wasn’t flakes as I expected, more like a hard biscuit that I had to try and break up with a rolling pin and wooden spoon. It hasn’t come to life when added to water. When I messaged for advice I was referred to instructions on the site that I had already followed.

I bought the silicone insert for my Dutch oven for bread making and it works a treat and saves on endless parchment paper - would highly recommend. I bought this after a recommendation from YouTuber Ali lives Well - brilliant channel to watch if you want to save money

Delighted with the kit. Unfortunately the jar broke (probably a heavy handed postman) but the owner was lovely and very quick to arrange a replacement for the ruined starter, flour etc. He also provided plenty of baking tips. Many thanks
