This is my second time taking classes with SpanishVIP and I absolutely love it! I stopped after three months initially because I was heading back to school and didn't have time, but as soon as my schedule freed up I signed on for another few months. All of the instructors are so nice and really want to help you succeed. The price is a steal for unlimited classes which they have throughout the whole day and always different lessons so you can find what you want. The instructors are also open if there's something you want to learn and they can design a class for you. I prefer the group classes, but sometimes nobody else signs up for that specific lesson so it's a bonus one-on-one. My favorite sessions recently were the pajama party where we played games in Spanish and the Karaoke!

So far with Spanish VIP I've have a good experience and learnt a lot from the lessons. I've been doing group lessons and aim to do 5 lessons each week. Each lesson lasts 50 mins and you can pick and choose the lessons which are relevant to your level and also the subjects you wish to improve on the most. I've used other sites like Lingoda, Italki and Baselang, and feel like there are all on a similar quality level, however Spanish VIP is a lot more affordable.

Pros:
- Great value for money
- Can pick and choose which lessons you want to study, which can be good if you have an area of weakness
- Lessons are well structured and planned
- Lessons deal with all areas such as speaking, quizzes, writing, reading and listening skills
- You get to know other students and teachers pretty well which can help as the teachers already know your strenghts and weaknesses
- Easy to book lessons and can book shortly before the start time

Cons:
- Lesson times can be limited depending on your time zone
- The max size of group lessons (7) is too big in my opinion although this rarely ever happens. Most lessons i've had have had 1-4 people
- Lessons only happen Mon - Fri
- Limited teachers so if you don't like a teacher's style you dont have other choices

Having tested both the individual lessons (back when I was just starting my learning) and group ones (when I was at a more intermediate level), in both instances I was really happy with the quality of the lessons, especially with the fun supportive environment and the quality of the tutors.

The pricing was also a big plus in my book, coming from a country where the currency is relatively weak compared to the dollar, the price/lesson ratio is about as affordable as I could find online, I'd say it's about as interesting as it can get if you're planning to really commit to a lot of lessons within a month.

Overall it's my definite go-to when it comes to learning Spanish.

I find live group classes very motivating - so after a lot of searching I was really happy to find SpanishVIP. I've been enrolled for 6 months now and plan to continue. They offer a lot of scheduling flexibility for every level of Spanish speaker, with dynamic & knowledgeable instructors (at least for me at the A2 level). There is the added perk of meeting other students from all over the world.

Lina Giraldo is my teacher, she is always excellent on time and engaged! She always ensures I am learning something new every class!

I enjoy SpanishVIP as it allows the learner a set time each day with the same instructor. My instructor, Lina, is prepared to take our class wherever she sees the need or where I indicate. We might review an area, introduce a difficult area, read, listen to various clips or just talk. I'm enjoying my classes with Lina.

The group classes are an added bonus and the group leaders - Jesus and Viviana are great.

My only concern with Spanish VIP is the difficulty communicating with them and a need for a smoother process to change instructors. Overall, the experience is great and is affordable.

I researched numerous online private tutoring companies before making the best choice with SpanishVIP. Unlike other companies, the team at Spanish VIP is responsive, transparent and professional. I can not be more thrilled with this decision and my private teacher Andrea Orozco

Two months ago, I knew a handful of Spanish words, now I can have a (very basic, very slow) conversation entirely in Spanish thanks to Andrea’s fun engaging teaching style

Andrea is always on time, cheerful and energetic. I look forward to our daily conversations followed by a traditional lesson, games, podcasts or even karaoke. She is reassuring and patient when she senses I’m getting frustrated. She is an amazing teacher and kind human. I also appreciate the links she supplies to review the day’s lesson and exercises for additional practice.

I am completely enjoying my SpanishVIP experience with Andrea and will gladly be signing up for future lessons when my current package expires.

Spanish VIP has been a wonderful experience. I have a fantastic and very patient tutor who I meet with weekly. She understands my pace of learning and never forces content on me that I am not ready for. I feel very supported and happy that I have chosen this specific program to help me with my Spanish language journey. I recommend this program to anyone who may be struggling with what kind of program to purchase to learn and understand Spanish.

I have been studying Spanish with Spanish VIP for over a year and it is the highlight of my day. During the height of the pandemic, I wanted to learn another language and it was a terrific decision. I have come a long way from - hola! José is an outstanding teacher. Every day, he has something new and exciting for me to learn. And, he always asks me if I enjoyed the lesson, and if I have any questions or comments. If there is something I want to study, he will create an easy way for me to learn it. I am a writer and published my first bilingual book on Kindle, How I Helped My Grandma Rose. José helped me edit my second book, Gimmee! Gimmee! Gimmee! I am now writing a Spanish short story every Friday for class. Thank you, José for being a professional teacher and for creating fun classes every day. Five stars! Elaine

Really friendly teachers. It's helped me a lot to improve.

I can highly recommend individual lessons with Spanish VIP. My teacher, Edwin Llamas, has been brilliant - friendly, encouraging and able to adapt lessons according to my interests and learning needs. Lessons are challenging but rewarding and I really feel like I'm making progress.
For me, the biggest difference compared to a highly structured course has been the flexibility to spend more time on areas that I find difficult rather than having to work through topics at a set pace. This has already improved my confidence and helps me relax and enjoy the lessons, as well as enhancing my understanding of trickier concepts.

I took private lessons and my teacher was Norbey Pasada. Norbey was a very nice teacher who puts time and effort into his lessons and enjoys doing his work every day with a smile. the fact that I had a lot of influence on my own curriculum was very nice, and I was therefore able to follow a well-personalized trajectory. I feel like I've made a lot of progress in a short period of time, especially in my speech because Norbey took his time every day before we started the material. I highly recommend the 1 on 1 course.

I made really good experiences with the the classes of Spanish VIP, The lessons were really great and there was always a good atmosphere
My teacher Lina Orozco found a good balance introducing new content and repeating what has been learned. And also in encouraging me to speak Spanish with my limited vocabulary. She used different kind of activities and games to make the classes not too repetitive. And also otherwise she was very supportive and always in a good mood!
I started at almost 0% and I am happy with the progress I made with my Spanish knowledge.

The experience with Viviana has been an absolute bliss. Attentive, humorous fluent in English, patient and a great teacher.

Been a student here for some time and I have managed to equip my Spanish with the necessary foundation that requires modifications and polishing.

The experience has been a bliss, a joyous ride and hopefully in no time I will be in command of the language fully.

The classes are fun, hands on, interactive and a joyless experience.

My 12-year old daughter wanted to learn Spanish and I signed her up for personal tuition on SpanishVIP, mainly because it provided engagement with teachers that spoke native Spanish. Taking Spanish classes with SpanishVIP is the best decision I have ever made. The classes are fun, creative and something I look forward to every day.
