Shoddy products, shoddy installers, Directors couldn't give a toss
We have spent a fortune on 13 upvc windows, 1 upvc French door, 1 half-glazed composite door and a 3-panel, 3m aluminium bifold door. Both the service and products are poor. The installer was chosen by Spectral not by us and he is apparently no longer trading. The 'tradesman' with whom Spectral has a long history has done a runner.
Almost all the windows and doors are faulty and have been poorly assembled in the factory, the bifold door is sagging so badly that it is not useable - this is the professional opinion of other installation companies that we have called to to view. Fixing our problems would have to be done at the factory and can't be done on site.
Spectral claim no responsibility for this, are Trade only and therefore, not at all bothered about after sales customer service and have said that we are not the owners of the windows nor their customer.
Spectral produce shoddy products, and work with shoddy installers and shady tradesmen. It seems their 'mission statement' is 'Happy to take your money, sell you rubbish and not give a toss.' The directors and their associated tradesmen and fitters have no conscience or moral compass.
You would be wise to spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.
