- he Spencer Private Hospitals in Ashford is located within the Arundel Unit of the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford (WHH). - Excellent infection control rates (see Quality Accounts) - Exemplary standards of cleanliness - Wi-Fi Access - Car parking available onsite The facility has five consulting rooms, a treatment room and audiology services in partnership with Hearbase. We are also able to offer outpatient Physiotherapy. Ashford also has 4 small en-suite bedrooms located within the William Harvey Hospital. Our Consultant base enables us to offer outpatient appointments in all of the major specialties including Ear Nose and Throat, Maxillo Facial, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Urology, Pain and Orthopaedics.
- Spencer Private Hospitals - Canterbury
- The Spencer Private Hospitals in Canterbury is located within the Emergency Care facility at Kent & Canterbury Hospital (KCH), with the entrance located immediately left of the Minor Injuries unit with an intercom to gain access. In November 2019 we opened our new location at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital (KCH), following our successful registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This expansion comes as a result of increased demand as well as an identified need to make our services easily accessible to all. The new outpatient facility offers private consultations in Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Rheumatology, HCOOP, General Surgery and Healthscreening.

- The Spencer Private Hospitals in Margate is located on the grounds of The Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (QEQM) Hospital in its own unit with its own car park and entrance (located on the Ramsgate Road side of the hospital). The Spencer Private Hospitals in Margate has been providing private healthcare services to the people of East Kent for over twenty years and in that time has built an excellent reputation for providing high standards of care. The hospital consists of twenty-two en-suite bedrooms, five consulting rooms and an endoscopy suite. The unit has its own High Dependency Unit and access to Intensive Care facilities. - Excellent infection control rates (see Quality Accounts) - Exemplary standards of cleanliness - Single en-suite rooms with their own TV, DVD and - Wi-Fi access - On site caterers provide fresh food every day - Free Parking.* (*For self-paying and insured patients)

Comenta: very hard to find Spencer Hospital, lack of directions within WHH site.
Took me 22 mins of driving around to park- not acceptable really.

Well looked after on arrival
Well looked after on arrival, great communication letting me know the procedure of my operation, operation went so well and was cared for after too made comfortable and made sure I was eating and had plenty of fluids throughout the night , nurses came in very often to check on me and do blood pressure test to make sure I was well and recovering well. All the staff were amazing friendly and looked after me .

waste of my time
Saw my GP had an injection in my shoulder....he referred me to your hospital. Saw a specialist last week who was useless! Asked me where my x-rays and scans were...when I told him no one has sent me for some.....he said I haven't got x-ray vision....as if it was my fault...then said he couldn't do anything, surgery wise for me, as I am too big!!!! Thank you for nothing....never again!!!

A brilliant hospital
A brilliant hospital, brilliant consultants, nurses and HCAs. I would always recommend going private if its an option and I would always pick The Spencer Hospitals. I had my first appointment yesterday and already have surgery booked in for a month's time! This has given me hope and taken a weight of my shoulders, I was looking at at least another year on the NHS waiting list even though I need it done ASAP. The consultant actually listened to me rather than trying to rush to the end of the appointment. He was very well informed and knew exactly what I needed. The service you get is amazing!

The specialist appeared to have no interest in my well being. He wasn't even bothered to do a full assesment of signs and symptoms. He suggested, having asked my age, that I give up my hobby due to my age rather offering any help. Im a healty 78 year old, with issues that need to be addressed to allow me to live an active life. Unbelievable. I spoke with a GP who was extremely surprised at how I was treated. I had a retired nurse with me who used to work with specialist doctors. And she felt that he had no interes in finding out the history of my issue!
