Do not buy anything from this company

I bought a SX500, I couldn't adjust it to make the distance between the handle bars and seat small enough (I'm 165cm) and the pedal crank broke the second time that I used it. This was in October 2020 and I am still waiting for a resolution. E-mails from the company have been slow. The company sent an illegible diagram for me to identify the bike part that was broken (in December) presumably so they could send parts to mend the bike. I sent photos to demonstrate the broken parts and I'm still waiting for communication of how this will be resolved, now it's mid February 2021. I have now requested my money back and for them to organise collection of the bike. My advice is do not buy anything from this company. If there is a problem with it the customer service is appalling and their warranty will not be honoured.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Got my bike and the readings on wouldn't appear on the screen, RPM, time distance etc. I emailed sports-tech UK, messaged on facebook and twitter several days in a row, to this day (6 months later) they still have not responded. I decided to strip down the bike and have a look at the electronics myself and found a loose connection. So I was lucky enough or else it would have been a very expensive coat stand. Sportstech Germany did respond a week after I fixed the issue, so If you are having issues, and have any hope of a response, forget UK and email Germany,

The app is absolute junk, doesn't work.

Bike arrived in good time but broke…

Bike arrived in good time but broke within two and a half weeks. Over two months later I am still waiting for the bike to be collected and a full refund. Brexit withstanding it is totally unacceptable service. They tried to fob me off with a replacement part to begin with. I do not recommend doing business with Sportstech. It is only in Germany not UK as site suggests. Entirely misleading! I am considering taken further action.

Terrible service

Terrible service , no one reply back to me. No track number for my ordered . You will never know when you got delivery and when you was telling the shop number, the robot answered told you, wrong shopping number and all call number was fakes. What can I do. I have not received my delivery yet?

My Sportech Treadmill arrived damaged. I have emailed Innovamaxx Customer Services and also left a message on their web site contact facility NO REPLY a week later. Customer care is awful. If further repeated requests for them to contact me fail I will be seeking a legal remedy against them. Be warned

Immoral company who will steal your money and not deliver

Don’t buy from this lying thieving company. I bought their top smith bench with a promised delivery December 2020. I patiently waited till end of January and contacted them to find they had delayed my order to April and had no intention of telling me until I contacted them. My wife is suffering from heart failure and has spent weeks in hospital. The purchase was required to help with her rehabilitation but also for me to use. Now that they have delayed we have little equipment to get her recovery going. Her condition is serious. Don’t get me wrong there are always exercises that can be done without equipment however I am sick of companies like sport tech who knew full well they couldn’t meet delivery on their promised date but took my money and then kept quite. I have no guarantee I will receive the product in April because their customer service is managed through a poor automated system. Shame on you sport tech even when I told you the reasons for the urgency you couldn’t be bothered to contact me directly. There’s a reason their prices are cheaper folks and if you buy through them good luck!

UK Buyers beware - Waste of time and Money.f…

There are three company names all are the same. This one, sportstech.de & the parent one innovamaxx.de they are all based in Germany

SX600 Bike ordered in July, arrived a month later then developed a fault after a 4 weeks and really struggled to get a response out of the SportsTech support team on how to fix it.

Eventually got a reply from support via Facebook Messenger, they asked me to remove the cover (no instructions) and look inside. Sent them multiple videos with sound and they decided it needed to be returned to Germany as there is no UK Support or repair facility.

In order for it to be returned it had to be packed up carefully and placed on a pallet for collection. They arrange collection and return thankfully but I had to pay for the packaging and pallet.

It was delivered back to be about 1 month later with lots of cosmetic damage which looked awful given the cost of this unit.

When I asked for compensation or a gesture of goodwill for the damage they caused repairing it, I was given the run around and promised several times something was in the post. In the 6 months I have contacted them more than 30 times to try and get resolution each time was either ignored or given an excuse the last being Brexit!

Gave up and contacted paypal to report them. Save yourself time effort and money - recommend you shop elsewhere.

Avoid at all costs- would give no stars if i could

Ordered a F31 treadmill which had great reviews on the website. Arrived eventually. After 2 weeks the treadmill starting slipping and i felt like i was going to get thrown off. Had it serviced at my own expense, same problem still exists. Contacted them through PayPal. They agreed to collect the treadmill and get it looked at. This was over a month ago. Still no contact from them and a treadmill in a box in the garage waiting to be collected. Will only ever buy from a UK company going forwards, this company is a joke and their after sales care is non existent

Would give no stars if I could. Poor communication.

Brought a bike expecting it to be shipped within the UK and would never have purchased if I knew it was in Germany due to the pandemic and EU exit. The company is called sports tech UK but everything is in Germany. So now I have had no communication since December despite sending emails and requests for a refund so now I am £750 down with only the chargeback process to go through to try and get a refund. It is only from looking at the website that I learnt that delivery to the UK is currently ‘paused’ whatever that means. Would give no stars if I could.

Update on 4th Feb - so I got a response to 2 of my emails today. One said I would get a full refund within 14 days. The other said it was too late and had been shipped and to just refuse it when it arrived- no idea if this incurs any fees as it isn’t mentioned. The delivery date has been and gone. The website no longer says that delivery to the UK is suspended and is still promising that enquiries will be dealt with promptly.

Item not delivered and no delivery date given by company. No response from the company. Escalating a claim on PayPal. Then credit card company if no resolution.

Stay well away from this company

Stay well away from this company , I am struggling to get my money back from a running machine that was delivered well but late it wasn't damaged in delivery but didn't work .
Returned it. Still refund , paid on credits card , but still no refund even after disputing it so far . Don't get back to you then fob you off , was supposed to be paid via PayPal but no log of purchase . STAY WELL AWAY . They are a scam company that palm all your emails to another company in Germany called Innovamaxx

Very very poor DO NOT BUY from this…

Very very poor DO NOT BUY from this company, sent damaged bike to us which was over £1000 emailed and rang numerous times over several weeks with no response. Now after 4 months the bike isn’t working..

I would recommend no one buys from this company unless you want to loose your money and hassle.

STX300 STEPPER leaked patrol

STX300 STEPPER During my session one of the parts broken down poring patrol liquid on the ground. It was used 5 times only. Luckily I always place a mat underneath stepping machine, otherwise would irreparably damage flooring. Straight away I sent an email to the company - no replay. Whatever calling for customer service choosing English you always number 2 in the queue. Later you will be cut off with the promise someone will call you but never do. At the end chosen Dutch, who finally allowed me to speak to customer service. Gentleman promised to sort this matter, but already one week past and I never received a single email how the company will sort this situation. Nicely robbed before Christmas.

COMPANY IS A SCAM. Trading standards involved

Ordered a treadmill, never arrived. No correspondence, no replies to emails, invalid phone numbers and invalid email addresses. Had to get visa involved to perform a charge back to my account. Because I paid some via PayPal (utterly useless) I am still left short over £50. This company is basically a broker taking orders for stock it does not have or own. ITS A SCAM, LOOK AT THE REVIEWS DO NOT BUY!!!!! Training standards now involved. Until I receive my full refund I will continue to leave negative reviews every week.

Ordered the HGX100 Smith Machine in…

Ordered the HGX100 Smith Machine in August, with an expected delivery date in October. We emailed early October for an update, no reply. We emailed end of October for an update, no reply. We emailed November for an update, no reply. We phoned for an update, no reply. We emailed December and advised if we did not get a reply within 7 days we would start a claim through our credit card, no reply. We emailed them after 7 days and said we would be making a claim through our credit card the following day. They replied!!! But only to say that they don't deliver to the Isle of Man anyway so they would give us a refund. What an absolute joke of a company. They accepted our delivery address on the order. They held on to our money for 4 months! So thankful we paid by credit card but wish I had taken note of the bad reviews before ordering. Never again.

WARNING - A COMPANY TO AVOID

WARNING: AVOID AT ALL COSTS
This company I actually believe does not exist. I ordered a bench for my son at the beginning of November. This company does not have any form of customer service and I received no email confirmation for my order and after a week of silence I sent a number of emails, calling head office ( I don’t speak German) as I heard absolutely nothing. I paid through PayPal And raised a case after 2 weeks against innovamaxx as sports-tech.uk is clearly a front for another company. I received a short standard email and refund within 2 days. This I believe is only due to the help from PayPal.
My advice is to avoid. The website looks very sophisticated and inviting with a large selection of what looks to be good quality gym equipment, DO NOT BE FOOLED.

Don’t buy from this company

Don’t buy from this company. Warning. I bought a bike, mostly good but the Bluetooth didn’t work. Contacted them over many weeks and no replies. I can’t even return the bike as they won’t answer any communication. Go elsewhere.
