I have spent 2 days trying to figure…

I have spent 2 days trying to figure out which software package I need to acomplish my goals. Sent many messages thru Spytech's support center. The only replies I got were that a case was opened and then get sent an email saying they had something to say, but you cant reply to the email. I did purchase what I thought might work for me. Bought it and it won't install I have well over 10 hours invested in this, paid for it and still have no working software, put in more support tickets and still nothing. Dont waste your time or money on companies who will not support what they sell. It's just a rip off and they hope you pay and just go away because there is NO WAY to speak to this company! total junk when you cant buy and use downloadable software in a business day. Total Joke! If you think you cant find the product you need with the expertise of the company selling and then you can't install it and then can't even talk to the company, "Why do you think their product will work?" Really, don't waste your time.

Each of your tickets you submitted to our online helpdesk were responded to shortly after you sent them. The notification emails you received contain a link to use to view your ticket online so you can see our responses, as well as respond in turn. We supplied instructions to configure your antivirus as you stated it was blocking your installation, and finally refunded your purchase the same day when you did not respond to any of your tickets. We would have been happy to remotely connect and install for you

Avoid this company and product

Purchased the software with great expectations. Software had issues installing due to anti virus requirements. Followed all instructions to run the software but was extremely unreliable. Attempted to get a refund as i had an urgent need to make use of monitoring software and have been told i need them to troubleshoot. This wasnt possible as all confidence had been lost in the sofware working reliably and not altering users of the presence of the software and as a result, multiple requests for a refund they have disappeared. poor experience. just terrible.

Your original email to our payment processor on 8/3 stated you were unable to install due to your antivirus, which we responded to. We did not receive any further response from you afterwards via email, nor on our technical support helpdesk.

Very bad customer service & not as described

I purchased their software full version with web tracking and 3 computer license for $149.95, my order number is: 36883420.
I tried to install on one computer, but every time the user would type anything in any other language other than English, the software doesnt log these letters correctly and instead it logs random letters and numbers and weird characters.
I reached out to support on 05/13/2025, and they said this "We have a trial version and you should have tested this using our trial version" !!??? I mean honestly the response is worser than the problem itself. Then after that I kept asking for a refund and they have stopped responding completely, Today I filed against them to dispute the charge with PayPal, and I have yet to receive a reponse, please give me my money back for a software that does NOT work, and for a horrible customer service experience.

Disappointing support service

It doesnt work on Harmony OS and there is no response from the support team on the concern. No response to refund though request is made the same day for cancellation.
Money wasted entirely!

Our website clearly states SpyAgent is for WINDOWS. HarmonyOS is not advertised as a supported operating system. Your support ticket was responded to the same day you submitted it.

Outstanding. Support was quick to help with my questions. A lot of stuff is recorded but it’s easy to find what you need once you mess with it a bit.

Covers the bases for computer monitoring

I have been using another solution for monitoring my kids’ phones for a while but I needed something for their computer. Installing SpyAgent was straight-forward enough and everything is working as expected. Cloud based viewing is nice to have when I’m not home.

Won't install

Won't install. explained issue to tech support 3 times. Keep stalling about a refund. The "target" computer cannot be accessed on a whim, I have a limited window. Item wouldn't perform as advertised, bottom line.

Using for file and asset tracking

I purchased SpyAgent recently to track file and asset usage on my network computers.

All file usage, including what employees may copy to portable drives, is logged. Exactly what I needed to ensure my data is safe.

A significant fail that should be addressed by having the program automatically disable security (exceptions) with one click administrator authorization.

With unfettered access to the target computer and a technician living in your home for the first six weeks, this program might function as advertised.

If one can disable security and live without online protection then this may be for you.

Inserting exceptions for SpyAgent into Bitdefender appeared to make it functional, but only as long as there's no updates or a reboot. Bitdefenders exceptions are instantly rescinded or otherwise bypassed and S/A is disabled. Offers to refund me haven't been forthcoming.

While SpyAgent's installer can automatically add exclusions to some antivirus products when ran with administrator authorization, BitDefender is unfortunately not one of them (they do not allow third-party control/access).

If BitDefender's exclusions are being erased when you reboot the computer, or update BitDefender, then there may be an issue with your BitDefender installation. Exclusions should always stay in place until you remove them. While we personally connected and setup BitDefender for you and ensured everything was working properly, if the user removes exclusions afterwards we cannot control that.

We did reach out to you after your last message you sent to us several weeks after we previously installed for you and offered to connect again to see why BitDefender was interfering (and to confirm it actually was BitDefender, and not just the user interfering with SpyAgent), but did not hear back.

While you did not request a refund previously, your order has been refunded.

I paid for Spyagent online

I paid for Spyagent online, was told to wait for an email that never came. I called the number
1-888-267-2423.

I was greeted with our staff are unavailable, even at 11:00 am, as I write this review.

I did get through once but have not been able to since (9:55 am). What I was told is they had no record of my order.

That where it sits until tomorrow when I have the charges reversed.

Very disappointed, Absolutely No customer service and there is no 24/7 support.

Update: I received an email with a link for the download after I posted my review on Trust Pilot so yes, a review can make a difference.

I was told I entered a wrong email, an extra letter, I cannot say for sure but I am willing to admit, perhaps I did and so, apologize for my negative review. Once I download the software, and it works, I will update again.

When you purchased you entered your email ending in "@lgmail.com". I assume you meant gmail.com and not lgmail.com, so I have already changed this and have sent your order confirmation there. We have also already responded to your helpdesk ticket on our 24/7 helpdesk informing you of the same (we were originally unable to locate your order because you entered your email incorrectly when ordering).
