Buses that don't arrive
Today I waited at 12.15 for my X4 bus that didn't turn up, I waited an hour for the next one....which didn't turn up so I waited for the 14.15 bus that disappeared turn up, so waited for the 15.15pm bus that DID turn up but the driver said the bus was faulty so was returning to the depot. Eventually the 16.15pm bus 20 minutes late. Sadly todays experience is not unfamiliar to me. Appalling service, zero communication, app and website does not reflect what's happening. I see they were given a formal warning in 2024, I will be writing to my MP to complain about the service and hope it is replaced with a more reliable one.
Driver lost for words
Bus on time. But thought driver had lost his voice. Not a smile not a word . Time he found a job he likes. Number 3 bus 10.20 from westcliffe into town.
Bus did not turn up
Bus did not turn up. It was very cold. The app did not say it was cancelled so I waited and waited. I was 4 hours late at my destination. The customer service people were sorry but how can Stagecoach ever be trusted. Saying sorry is not good enough. I hope they lose their franchise.
The most shocking bus company
The most shocking bus company I have ever had the displeasure of using. Unfortunately I come from Thanet in Kent, where this is the only bus company which operates and Southeastern, the only trainline to operate. So often it would seem more likely to see a swarm of flying pigs around a rainbow made of sprinkles, than to ever get to your destination on time. Stagecoach buses are almost always late, their app is terrible. They often update their app once to say delayed, then that bus disappears from the app. Then quite often half an hour of more later, about 3 buses turn up at once. I often get the loop, which is supposed to come around every 8 mins. Never in my life have I experienced that efficiency from them. They also just randomly close bus stops and do not tell you on the app. You simply get to the stop, to find some sign on it telling you the name of the next closest bus stop, in which case you are already absurdly late. I never knew how bad they were until I moved to a different area for university, where I experienced competent bus travel for the first time.

If I could give this company -5 * I would, it’s a joke!!!! Bus drivers just drive past stops, leaving people in the freezing could. But it’s okay guys the next bus is only in half an hour.

I’ve only ever had one genuinely good experience with this company and that was thank you to a driver called Owen on the 18! Other than that if I could use another company I would! However the only bus that goes the Leigh park is this one. They had the comment removed because how unbelievably shit they are, I tell you the day this disaster of a company gets a bus to a stop on time is the day I buy a lottery ticket

Stagecoach cuts busses services between Fife and Edinburgh, especially Dunfermline. They caused busses coming from Edinburgh to get full along the way and forcing people to wait over an hour for another available bus which doubles the time for the journey.
Late buses, complaint and bus driver
Late buses, and when I made a complaint about something, I was never contacted. There is a bus driver who has done something they shouldn't done and Stagecoach won't remove them after so many complaints. They have lost a few passengers after this.

I had a really pleasant experience on 700 bus
I had a really pleasant experience on the 700 bus recently and wanted to leave a positive review for the driver. From the moment I boarded, the driver was friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted passengers with a smile and created a calm, positive atmosphere on the bus.
The journey itself was smooth and safe, and the driver was clearly very attentive to the road and the passengers. The bus departed from Havant at 10:22, and everything during the trip felt well-organised and comfortable. They were patient with people getting on and off, especially those who needed a bit more time, which I really appreciated. It’s small acts of kindness like that which make public transport a much nicer experience for everyone.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable trip, and the driver’s positive attitude really stood out. Thank you for the excellent service — it genuinely made my day better!
Worse Bus Company Ever
Sadly cannot give 0 … As my husband was a former bus driver with this company based in Stratford upon Avon I can speak from personal experience if how they run and treat their staff. Drivers are unhappy stressed agency drivers drafted in. Buses are in shocking condition some not fit for purpose and management that cannot manage . That’s before we get to their favourite destination “ not in service” which seems a popular place to travel to . And if you make a formal complaint guess what it gets closed down because yes you’ve got it they can’t resolve it or manage it for a satisfactory remedy . Avoid like Covid …
Wish I could award negative stars
If I could give this company negative stars I would. Inconvenient timetables, no connecting buses. In the morning, it takes me 90 minutes to travel 10 miles, across the city. I leave home at 06:40 to catch the 07:00 bus. Usually make the 07:40 connection and get to campus around 08:00. Then 10 minutes walk to my office.
In the evening I finish at 17:00. Workload won't let me leave any earlier. But there are -no- buses going back into the city centre between 17:10 and 17:30. So the first one through is busy and stopping everywhere. That means I miss my onward connection at 18:00. Just. By 1 or 2 minutes. The depot which serves the outer areas around the city seems to think one bus every 30 minutes is sufficient until 18:30. So I'm waiting in the city centre for 28 minutes. In all weathers. I eventually arrive back home at 19:15.
There is no direct bus from my home area, despite the campus where I work being the second largest employer after the university. So I'm out of the house for nearly 13 hours every day. For a standard work day of 7.5 hours. If the timetable planners could just move the connecting bus on by 5 minutes, or provide more buses to the campus at the start and end of the working day, this would help. But seemingly, no dice.

Shit, disgusting, piece of shit service that should be defunded.
Missed my emergency medical appointment today, because the driver showed up late and was not prepared to leave on time and then the bus had an issue which needed an engineer.
If the driver was prepared and on time, this issue could have been resolved and I could have made my appointment.
If there had been any kind of update, I could have tried finding another method.
Instead when the bus driver showed up late, he stood on the phone, telling the person he was 10 minutes late, while I waited to hopefully buy a ticket.
Honestly cannot believe how disgusting this service is.
Not the first time. I should have known better to rely on them.

I am not one to complain .I am 76 and not in great health But i will not stop trying with out complaint, A dear old lady of over 80with two legs that need medical attention as she has hardley any skin on them.She is one of the bravest people i know tried two get on a bus from Capel le Ferne to st pauls church in Dover this morning for ash Wensdays mass.The driver a lady would not lower the bus to help her get on board.There is a plate they use for weelchairs but not to help people incase they slip that is understanderble. The lady finds that the plate is the best way if the driver helps her.This driver was adamant even thow others have helped in the past,she was rude and could of lowered the bus.The puplic are some times difficult some time i know. But this lady knows if she stays in all the time she will die.Please try a little harder to put themselves out to make life a littl easyer for such dear people ?

I use the loop in Thanet for a short journey to work,I work in a care home, the fare went up from £1.90 to £2.70 overnight, it’s now cheaper to use the train, shame I can’t.
The service is unreliable and it’s not unusual for 2 or 3 to come together.
Yesterday I was waiting in the freezing rain and wind for one hour, this is ridiculous, the company obviously don’t care about their customers.
The drivers are usually miserable and unfriendly too, I have been ignored when I have spoken to them.
The worst public transport service I’ve ever known.
A credit to your service
The 600 bus driver (young, dark haired man on 31/01/26 about 15.00) saw us running for the bus, a distance from the stop and he waited for us. He was friendly, welcoming and courteous to other users of the road (stopping to allow an elderly lady with a stick cross a busy road safely), what a credit to your service.
