After 35 years on the tools as a professional joiner, I can't believe I'd never found these guys before. It was only a chance Google search for oddball 70mm newel posts and associated components that brought me here. Anyway ... easy-to-navigate website and ordering process, my phone call to request an order update was dealt with by an incredibly helpful, polite young lady. The good-quality components arrived quickly and were exceptionally well-packaged - the best I've ever seen, in fact. A solid 10/10 all round, and I'll be back for sure. Thanks very much.

As someone with no knowledge of stairs beyond a couple of YouTube videos, choosing a company is always hard - I'm so glad I went with Stairbits. Amazingly professional company who even called me before booking in my (very swift) delivery to make sure it would be convenient for me - a personal touch that really makes you feel valued as a customer. Just received my order, excellent price, very reasonable delivery charge considering I’m at the other end of the country from their base and I have to say the packaging was outstanding ! There was no way this stuff was getting damaged in transit, excellent service!

The stair components came today following a phone call and email confirming delivery date. Best packaged items I have ever received from online purchases. Timber very well finished and machined well, more than met expectations. I ordered newel posts with pegs but a little disappointed to find that the pegs are 50mm dowelling and not engineered from the newel post its self. This of course can be overcome with an extra infill of good quality wood glue, but was my reason for just four stars. An online timber company to be wholeheartedly recommended.
