Staycation Holidays Ltd Avis 

My family and I had a great holiday at Lapwing Lodge, Cotswolds. The accommodation was immaculately presented, the outlook beautiful, with very comfortable beds, and the decking and hot tub topped it off!
Charles at Staycation Holidays was incredibly helpful throughout the booking process, we had all the information and details we needed and wouldn’t hesitate to book with the again.

This a perfect getaway. The house is spacious and warm, and there is a front garden that catches the sun each afternoon. It's quiet and secluded, and there are plenty of places to walk the dog. We loved this place and will most certainly return.

Communication was very good - all my questions were answered promptly and any requirements I had were passed on to the Owners. Very satisfied.

So peaceful and a handy base to nearby attractions and beaches. The views across the countryside were stunning.
The accomodation was high quality, fantastic and spacious (plenty of room even with 9 of us) and the welcome hamper contained a good variety.

Super cottage in a great location to explore South Wales. An extensive folio put together which answers any queries about the property and surroundings (which are idyllic!) and plenty of ideas of things to do to suit every age,budget or interest.
Great communication throughout and the photos really don’t do the place justice....highly recommend!!

Our stay at Hunters Moon was excellent. Ted was a fantastic host and the welcome was outstanding. He provided everything you would need including a welcome hamper, fruit and wine :O) The cottage was immaculate and all the logs etc were in endless supply. thank you for great few days away.
Charles at Staycation was also very helpful in booking this for us and accommodated our needs last minute.

My booking was cancelled by Staycation after I received the booking confirmation. They gave the reason that I had booked for 3 nights only and the property would only take a 7 night booking. This was not clear on booking and further the property is available to book on other sites for the same 3 nights. Now I have to start the process of looking for somewhere to book again - the other place I had in mind is no longer available. Plus my deposit money is tied up with my bank for a further week as it is pending. I am very disappointed. It was their mistake and they should have honoured the booking.

Excellent location

Beautiful converted barn. Very comfortable and lots of nice touches; we stayed over Christmas and the owners provided a bottle of wine, delicious stollen and a pint of milk. Quite a remote location (you need a car) but very convenient for local supermarket and for touring the southern half of Cornwall. Only slight negative is that the is very little phone coverage and no WiFi

Very organised and time efficient for a last minute booking. However, attention to detail was compromised when messaging via air bnb. Simple spelling mistakes, rushed messages left me feeling concerned after booking. BUT. Cottage itself was lovely and hosts exceeded all expectations and were very accommodating.

Would recommend staycation to all my friends and family. Charles was extremely helpful. Looking forward to booking with staycation in the future.

Excellent communication, arranged refund on excess online charge by third party which we didn’t know was due.

We all loved The Oaks, the only disappointment was the invasion of flys in the games room. We tried to ring the housekeeper but they did not return our call. We had 4 children with us and they were unable to use the room

Stable Cottage is comfortable place to stay. Savernake forest and The Downs can be reached by foot or easily by car. There are good pubs in the area that can be reached by car. Sadly there is no pub/restaurant in the village itself.

Booking via Staycation has been done by e-mail on the two occasions that we have stayed. This has proved to be a flexible and friendly method of making a reservation.
