I tried reaching out via the “Chat with us” option on the website and left my email address, but I never received a response to my question. They put a lot of effort into looking popular with their videos, but their customer service is really disappointing.

I’ve used the company a bunch of times and recommend them all the time. The products are great. I think the balance between practicality, price and build quality is bang on, and they always look awesome. I’ve only had one issue with a product and it was sorted out in record time and with excellent service. Special thanks to Vix for all the help recently - helping me buy a product no longer on the site!

Love the look of the products so when we got our first VW camper this was where we was going. the customer service and speed is second to none ! Thanks guys you're awesome !

We had seen their products on other vans, so wanted to get a windscreen cover. Great and easy to use website. Item arrived well packaged, with some nice freebies. The quality of the cover and the bag it comes in is extremely good value for money. Beautiful item which we will be proud to show off on our next camping trip. I had to contact customer service about an issue with a t shirt we purchased, but they contacted me quickly and rectified it and were so lovely in their contact aswell. Best customer service I have had in a long time. A joy to deal with. Will definitely be buying more products in the future.

I ordered a few items from S+S from their November sale. Had a few issues with delivery and an awning rail having marks on it. They were quick to respond and promptly sent out another, with some free gear.
Haven’t fitted the awning rail or use the awning yet- so can’t comment on that. But overall so far good customer service.

Great product, much better quality than rivals. Excellent communication throughout, well packaged and i received a free gift.
I will be using stitch and steel again for my campervan products, highly recommended

Ordered a tarp awning from S+S first one arrived and went missing couriers fault got in touch with S+S by email the following morning and they were very professional in sorting a replacement for me which I've received and they couldn't of been more apologetic for the first going missing. I highly recommend S+S and i wont hesitate in purchasing more gear from them

I have an item with missing parts , I have emailed numerous times but am still waiting for a response over 1 week , no phone number to contact useless customer service

I have bought so many products from S&S from awning, canopy , windbreak, windscreen cover, stoves and loads of little bits . Everything has been super functional super quality. The thing that makes S&S so good is the guys are producing products that are just what campervan owners want as they have lived the van life and know exactly what we need.
Customer service always great. Would recommend getting on to the website and look at what’s to offer and one guy start you will be hooked. Keep up the good work S&S

Crap service , sales and customer service sucks the worst

Bought and awning for my van great design. Poles do come down but getting better . Piece ripped of with the guy line, have emailed over 6 times last cpl months. No replies at all . Bad customer service

I emailed to ask if their driveway awning would fit a transit van and they said yes, it arrived and when I fitted it, it did not fit. The awning was not high enough and when attached to the van it would be 200mm off the ground. I emailed the company 10 days ago and still no reply, I have called them and they don't answer and they say quicker to email. It feels to me like they said whatever to make the sale but dont care if it works or not.

They have since emailed to say I bought the tarp without checking with them it would fit, which I had, and sent them the email chain confirming this. Still no reply. I am due to be going away in the van on holiday soon and I can see this not being resolved and costing me... Not good customer service...

Fantastic customer service. Bought a tarp awning from them which got damaged on our first trip (we think vandalism by another campsite user). Anyway we contacted s&s team and they very kindly sent us a replacement pole and repair patch at no charge. Really impressed. Lovely to see a company which values their customer experiences.
