scam your Insurance money
They got you to buy Insurance, when you ask them for the relevant insurance document that you bought, nothing. it sound suspisuously like a scam to me.

Thank you for the feedback and I am sorry you feel that way about the insurance. Storage World is a member of the UK Self Storage Association (SSA) who strongly recommends that self-storage operators ensure their customers have insurance cover for the items they store. The SSA advises that operators should offer customers insurance options or encourage them to arrange their own coverage.
When you begin your unit rental we email you a document which summarises the insurance cover in place, if for any reason you did not receive this document then please reach out to me at ben@storageworld.co.uk and I can send a copy.
I hope that you will reconsider your review based on the above as it is not a scam, it is important that items are insured whilst in store.
Facilities GOOD, staff not so good !
Facilities GOOD, Staff no so good.
The facilities at Manchester Airport site are clean modern and well designed with great access to the site. I've been a customer for approx six months in 2023.
However the onsite staff, even though polite, just sit in their office and do not 'Manager' the site at all.
Customers regularly block the loading bay, the lifts and the corridors and even though the staff can see all of this on the CCTV, they do nothing to stop any of it !!
This has happened on many occasions not just the once !
No matter what they reply below, (even if they do) there is no excuse not to manage the site properly.

Great customer service
Amazing, modern self storage facility. Thanks to Ben & Zuzanna for the help. It is the first time I had used the service, I got a quote online but then when I spoke to Ben on the phone and went through the list of items I was storing he ensured me I could get into a smaller unit to save me some money which I did. Great service, I would definitely recommend

Snake Oil Salesmen
Snake Oil Salesmen, there are far better options for self storage. Their price are higher relative to other storage companies that offer 24hr Access. Also beware they don’t keep their word, as I was assured my notice was handed in but then charged again as if the conversation hadn’t been had.
That being said, if the purpose of your storage is for business purposes, it is home to a few. That unfortunately was not my situation, I was desperate to store my things.

We provide extended access for essential use. Most stores are the same, given the security and customer support challenges. We hear you re the notice, all resolved by the date you moved out and a full process review conducted twice annually.
