The owner of the site is a problem, both as the owner of the site and as a chatter themselves.

Also worth mentioning that they are flagging negative reviews that mention the stuff they do on their website to get them taken down.

The room moderation in most rooms overall, is incredibly toxic, like other sites such as epikchat, kageshi, tinychat, but this is expected on these kinds of chat platforms.

Cosmosis has proven time and time again that he cannot be trusted as a site owner, and at this point he needs to hang it up, pass it on to someone who knows how to run a site and just go back to chatting.

His response to this review further proves my point.

Had a guy spread my nudes around this website after buying them from another chatter. Instead of punishment, said person was on invited to Admin team for the website. This site is a bad place, full of predators, would not recommend this site for the worst of people. Not to mention, it pulls a crazy amount of resources, once you look into that you see the site is suspiciously using a large amount of your gpu to mine crypto in the background. Yeah, good luck Cosmo you rat loser.

any issues I had were solved quickly, cant say anything bad about it, at least the rooms seem chill and not all modded out to just ban people.

People often blame a tool for how it’s used, but a tool is just a tool. A hammer can build something or destroy something—it depends on the person using it. The same goes for StumbleChat.

At its core, this is a great space for building community, making friends, and connecting with people from all over the world. Video chat, private rooms, room moderation, password protection—all of that is available even before you spend a single dollar.

And because of that, you’ll get all kinds of people. Some good, some toxic. But that’s not unique to this site—that’s the internet.

What I appreciate most is that this space exists at all. It’s clear there’s real work behind it, and it feels like something built for community first, not profit first. In a world full of paywalls, and upgrades, that matters.

There’s still work to do, especially around safety, protection from harassment, and keeping bad actors accountable. That would be my biggest advice: keep improving user safety and moderation tools.

That said, rooms are shaped by the people who run them. A good room comes from good moderation and good community standards. My own experience has been overwhelmingly positive because we built our space intentionally and protect it.

I use this site regularly, and it’s become a real part of my life. Some of my closest friends today are people I met here, and that kind of connection is valuable.

At the end of the day, this site has real potential. I’d love to see it continue thriving, improving, and still staying true to what makes it special: giving people a hassle-free and simple place to connect.

That’s rare, needed, and appreciated.

When tinychat was making us pay for its service...cosmosis created something great for us to have a platform to use for FREE!!!!! AT HIS EXPENSE.....as a matter of fact the platform is actually better than tinychat........AND INSTEAD OF BASHING HIM WE SHOULD ALL BE GRATEFUL that we have a platform to use for FREE!......THANK YOU COSMOSIS....

I went to this bodega that is not that far from my home, I always seen it and thought hey they might have a good deli inside. I went and and browsed the Boars section, not that many meats... I asked the lady behind the counter if they had Salmi and Pepperoni and provolone so I can make my own sandwiches at home (these bodegas don't have sun dried tomatoes), they claimed they did and even showed me "oh this is the pepperoni and salami" so i trusted them it was a nice little store so I went outside to smoke and when i come back inside I pay and leave i believed i found a nice little spot with decent meats i like but when i got home to make my sandwich i had about a pound of salami when i asked for half pound each.. its only 6 dollars so I'm not worried about the money but I am disappointed that I order 3 things and only got a bag full of salami. I would NEVER come back to this bodega ever again, Stay loyal to the ones you know have what you need taking my business elsewhere

Edit: This review is not fake. If I could put 0/- stars I would. My experience with this site has been all but positive or enjoyable in regards to having a copacetic chat-space even with a-typical hazing. Being a woman has made me a target and caused the owner to do anything but remove said stalkers unless they were related to the owner in any respect. If you joined a chatroom and had a problem with the owner Cosmosis, then most likely he was reading your dm's and then unannounced will have your account banned because you've said words that he didn't like. There were multiple witnesses and personal accounts of the owner banning people on the spot after having had private conversations in direct messages. Being female means you can't enjoy recreation without being harassed and therefor drinking no longer becomes an activity and more of a reactionary task.

It's the first time of all the years and all the webcam chat services, in which the owner forces himself into people's lives.
We get it Cosmo, you're lonely, but try to show your nice side, instead of curating people for personal reasons (all the people who did not break TOS or anything even close to that). A website with just one staff member and offering money for good trust pilot reviews is embarrassing and speaks for itself.

Had a good thing going on Stumblechat. Built up a room, decent community, no real drama. Then Cosmosis, who actually owns the site, started throwing his weight around.
He banned people for basically nothing. No warning, no explanation, just gone. Pure personal bias as far as I could tell. And since he owns the place, you can't appeal to anyone. The guy banning you is the top of the food chain.
There were also reports of him reading users' private messages. And he seemed drunk during a lot of the moderation calls, which explains why so many of the bans made no sense.
The thing that pushed me to write this: he uses official site-wide announcements to ask users for positive Trustpilot reviews. That's against Trustpilot's own rules. So if the reviews here look weirdly positive, now you know.
Find somewhere else.

its a dysfunctional online family, its a community of people who have talked together for years, it is what you make it.

Cosmosis is from a rare class of excellence int he chat community. A legend some what say that innovated and forced big name chat website to up their game or fall. There is no better chat web client UI out there. The website could add a few suggestions from me and become the penultimate Chat webclient. =)

ive never had a problem that wasnt solved within an hours time. theres a few hiccups here and there, buts its one person coding it all and trying to keep us all together. the time and effort that alone takes, is such a sacrifice being made in our favor for us to have a platform to chat and have a good time. im open to future changes and am excited to see where it goes from here. hope to see alot of positive reviews and responses here, thanks for reading <3

Great service to be honest, also smooth servers , the dev actually cares about the community, and keeps it safe for everyone!

The site itself runs fine. Performance isn't the issue. The admin is. He's spiteful and can't take a hit, so now he's brigading this very review site with fake positive reviews to prop up a number he can feel good about. Anyone paying attention can see what's happening. The platform isn't being sunk by the tech. It's being sunk by an ego that won't let the guy sit with criticism for five seconds.

The website is great the owner is great the owner of the website has been great since before he even launched this website, love the embedded videos/streams and the community is great, the owner is always good to his users and is quick to take care of issues, better support than other sites would reccommend

Great social website. Fun environment to meet new people, make friends, and have a safe space to chill. Great support as well. Owner is quick to respond, and is helpful with any questions or concerns. Overall, 10./10
