Deceptive advertising and bad customer service.
I opened a new account to buy my wife some shoes I knew she wanted for a special occasion (family wedding) as a surprise. As a new account, I also wanted to take advantage of the 20% off offer for new subscribers. The 20% off was declined but I was sent a discount code for my ‘next’ purchase - not the first purchase promised in the advertising!
Then I was told my email had been associated with a Styletread account for 6 years and I was not ‘new’. I have never had an account with them, but my wife has. We are not the same person. It appears that without my consent or notification styletread decided to just use my wife’s account. Thanks (NOT) for ruining my surprise!
It also raises some serious questions about privacy. Join up and we will just use someone else’s account! No satisfaction from customer service.
Needless to say my wife has closed her account, and I have closed the one I may or may not have had. Congrats styletread. You could have gained a customer and instead lost two.

WOW, absolutely stunning footwear, Bingo Bango I'm good to tango

WOW, not only do the shoes look like they do in the photo they are well made to boot. Best show company I have found online. They make it so easy to return you don't even have to pay for return postage. the experianced I've had has been nohing but stella. all purchases were made in New Zealand not sure if this makes a difference.

For one stop sending customers a bill for shipping from over seas I thought this was nz not only that wen we buy purchases it says free shipping now I get sent pay for tax shipping after I made payment u send that your not being true to customers an ripping them of free shipping is frees shipping dat bullshit tax is up to u do your dame job an stop ripping people of is this how u making money as well yes I'm pissed off

Customer service was outstanding.
I had to return a pair of shoes as I had purchased the wrong size. It was so easy and not a problem.
Every email I sent was acknowledge quickly and a reply was always very helpful and nothing was a problem. I will certainly be using them to buy shoes again Thank you Mandy

Great range of products with great customer service

I’ve been buying shoes from Styletread for more than 10 years. They have a great returns policy that takes the risk out of buying shoes online. Excellent customer service too. I’m surprised at the low score here—it’s a legitimate company with quality brands.

Exceptional Customer Service and Care

I am so grateful for the care, support and time that the Styletread Customer Service Team Members took to identify and rectify the confusion l caused regarding an incorrect order number I had quoted for a return label.

I received prompt responses and return labels via email. The Customer Service Team Members were so helpful, understanding, professional and polite. I am very impressed.

I am truly heartened to have found a company that has shown old fashioned customer care. It is a rarity to find this type of customer care nowadays.

Styletread made an error and made me do all the work to correct it

Since posting the below review, Styletread have contacted me and extended exemplary customer service. Thankyou.

Styletread sent me the wrong shoes. Shoes I would never wear and did not want. Instead of sending the shoes I ordered straight away to correct their mistake, and ask me to return the others as soon as I could, they said I had to go to the post office and return the unwanted ones first. I understand this policy for an exchange for change of mind, but not for their error. It is hard for me to get to a post office as they are open 9-5, so I had to go to a store on a Sunday to buy a pair of shoes as I needed them before I would get the ones I ordered from them. Once I can get to a post office when they are open, it’s then 10 days out of pocket to process the refund!!! Defeats the purpose of online shopping

After waiting nearly a month I still don’t have the right shoes. The parcel I received had two different labels on it. One to me in Qld and another to a lady in WA. This parcel sat at StarTrack for two weeks due to the two different labels on it. It took numerous calls, emails and travelling to locate the parcel only to find they weren’t my shoes. After speaking to Styletread they informed me they would send me the correct shoes and it would take a further 10days to receive it. Such poor service.

Dirty shoes

Supposedly shoes are checked by warehouse assistants before sending items out however, Shoes were dirty which I believe are display stock or the shoes had been taken home and worn. Customer service was good and said I could send them back. The point is, it shouldn’t happen in the first place. I have been buying from style trend for many years and never had a problem before. This experience has turned me off buying from style trend again.

I would give Styletread zero stars if I could. After waiting 4 weeks and my sneakers are still awol they finally paid out a refund AFTER I posted this scathing review (now edited to reflect refund eventually granted).

I've had good experiences with them in…

I've had good experiences with them in the past but now I'd hesitate to use them again.
The sneakers were sent me quickly in New Zealand but I decided they were unsuitable.
Over the course of nearly 3 weeks I've emailed 4 times requesting a return label. There is no NZ phone number.
Ive had no acknowledgement even. In just over a week the time to return them will be up.
This is a completely unacceptable way to treat customers.

My excellent experience with purchasing sandals

I purchased a pair of sandals that went on sale. I had been watching the price of these sandals and snapped them up when they went down in price. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong size. I sent them by via the return label supplied by Styletread which is extremely easy to use.

Today I went to the website to order these sandals in the correct size. The price was no longer discounted. I emailed customer service and asked if I could please purchase these sandals at the discount price. Sonia, of Customer Care could not have been more helpful. She organised for me to purchase the sandals at the discount price saving me nearly $40. I now purchase most of my shoes online with StyleTread and have also recommended your company to my friends.

Mixed up order.. they ignore my emails

They sent me one pair of shoes I didn't
Order. And they didn't send me one pair of shoes I paid for!!
Contacting them by phone impossible
There number is disconnected.
I have lost count of how many emails I sent with pictures and information!! They just are ignoring my emails. They keep sending me a generic email. Is this company real ? Have I been scammed??
Please be careful.. when ordering from them. I will definitely never order from them AGAIN!!!!
