Dog likes chewing sunglasses!
My husband recently purchased replacement arms from this company for his Raybans. We have used this company before (our dog likes to chew sunglasses!) and knew the quality was good. However, two of the same arms were sent out as opposed to a pair for the different sides. I used their online chat function to speak to an advisor and within 3 minutes the situation was resolved and a replacement sent out. No problem. Really pleased with the quality of the products and the customer service. Thank you again.
Blown away by the great service
I don’t leave many reviews but I do try to ensure that where excellent service is received, I make it known, both to the company concerned and to potential customers. I was somewhat surprised by the two negative reviews showing for 2025 to date and pleased by the responses from the company.
I will start by saying I have been wearing Raybans for the best part of 40 years. I own several pairs and in my opinion they are the best.
So – to my experience of Sunglass Repairs. My original intention was to replace the arms on a pair of Raybans purchased about 10 years ago; nothing lasts forever. Apart from the arms the sunglasses are like brand new. I also wanted to replace a lost case for the same pair of sunglasses. A number of e-mail exchanges with Sunglass Repairs determined their availability and price, and I have to say, the Sunglass Repairs speed of response to my questions was impressive.
And that was when I decided I would also treat myself to a new pair sunglasses too. The price was the best of several sites I had checked out. So I went for it!!
I placed my order on the afternoon of July 10th by e-mail and duly paid the required amount. Sunglass Repairs shipped same day and everything arrived by Royal Mail, neatly boxed, the very next morning. Fantastic service and great people to deal with.
3 days from order to delivery
3 days from order to delivery. Can’t argue with that! I ordered some replacement arms for my Raybans and they arrived quickly and as per my order. I was a little worried due to mixed reviews on here, but I’m pleased I ordered from this website. Thank you!

I have used sunglassrepairs.co.uk twice to get replacement lenses for raybans and I have no complaints. The new lenses appear to be genuine and can be fitted for a fraction of the price of a new pair of glasses, especially if you fit the lenses to the frames yourself, which is not hard. The lenses and the service I have received has been fine, twice out of two. Thank you.
Fabulous Service
I'd ordered a set of replacement lenses, screws and screwdriver for my sunglasses after scratching a lens.
Their website was easy to navigate and I placed my order without any trouble.
I received emails from them and from Royal Mail but there was an issue with the Royal Mail delivery (not Sunglassrepairs.co.uk's fault I might add).
I got in touch with them via their website and got a call back which resolved the issue really quickly and a replacement set was sent.
Their communication was top notch throughout and the lenses are spot on too but what will have me coming back to them in the future is the way they handled it when something went wrong; they were brilliant!
Happy to recommend them to anyone!
Good experience buying replacement lenses
I ordered some replacement polarized lenses for my Aviators. They shipped next working day and were received in 2 days via tracked Royal Mail. They arrived well packaged in top condition and appear to be genuine.
Good communication of order and shipping progress.
Avoid as Ray-Ban cases fake.
If you’re looking for genuine branded glasses case then avoid this scam company. If you don’t mind a fake case, just go to eBay and get one for half the price.

Order replacement polarized lenses for raybans said there were in stock so ordered them got an email saying he had to go to rayban for parts why say they were in stock wouldnt trust this company with the 💩 off my shoe never mind sending the company my rayban frames which they asked for stay well clear bit of a flyman I think.got my refund back without any problems thank god

sent for a quote for a minor repair (frame) took a long time to say we cant do that repair but heres some items we have for sale as a replacement. AVOID. scam.
asked for updates, nothing. asked for the glasses back so i could repair somewhere else. nothing. now no glasses and £26 plus postage I will never get back. they count on you not bothering to kick up a fuss to the best I can do is tell you not to give them your custom of fall for the same trick
Tenacity paid off
I'll give this a mid-score. I did get what I ordered but not without some hassle. I'd ordered some replacement nose pads and I was delighted when a couple of days after ordering a little jiffy bag plopped though my letter box. My joy turned to surprise and disappointment when I found that the bag only contained the dispatch note and not the pads. So I opened an online chat and was told it would be repicked and resent and also wrote to sales@... I never had a reply nor the goods. A few days later I rewrote...and never had a reply. Then I checked this site and found that my experience wasn't unique. But I found the contact number +44 1204 691 888 and called that. It took me to an optician's receptionist who said who would pass the information in to Justin. I thought I would never hear from them again but blow me down if Justin himself didn't call me later. He apologised, promised me it would be sent and a day or so later the goods arrived. On the one hand I did get what I ordered but on the other hand, not without a struggle. Hence a 3.
No item, no update. Avoid this company
Order placed, no update received on whether item has been shipped or not. Contacted for update 8 days after placing order, no reply to emails.
Appears will have to issue chargeback via credit card company
Edit: I contacted my credit card company and requested a chargeback. My order was cancelled by them the next day. So they clearly do respond when necessary but responding to a customer who had placed an order and paid to give a simple update was apparently too hard for them

I wished I’d read the reviews before…
I wished I’d read the reviews before making a purchase! I was quoted 3-5 days delivery on some replacement lenses. Almost 4 weeks later I was still waiting, I emailed them twice with no reply, I messaged them twice on their website messenger. Then one day I got a random call from Bolton to tell me the item was out of stock and would I consider an alternative. I said yes and the items were delivered within 24 hours. I dont think they are fake as some are suggesting, they look like the originals they are replacing and are branded with the logo. They should tell you on the website if the item is out of stock not 4 weeks later! I wouldn’t use them again.
