He has been reassuring and helped build my confidence when driving and overall has been a great instructor

I had Anthony Gant in powys as my instructor and highly recommend. He helped me build confidence behind the wheel and also allowed me to evaluate myself along the way and choose what i feel i need more practice in and not as confident. Brilliant instructor. Very understanding and patient and taken into account im neurodivergent and sometimes struggle taking in verbal instructions. Made a couple slip ups during lessons but always stayed calm and would reassure me when doubting my ability. Passed driving and theory test first time and would highly recommend to anyone looking to do manual driving as great car to learn in.

I had Mark Hawtin as my driving instructor from September 2025 to January 2026 and honestly, it’s been a pleasure. After going through three other instructors and plenty of bumps along the road (figuratively and thankfully not literally), it’s safe to say I’ve been around the block.

Mark was hands down the best of the bunch. His calm, positive attitude and unshakable patience were exactly what my nervous self needed. He has a great way of explaining things, never made me feel rushed and somehow turned stressful lessons into something I actually looked forward to.

Thanks to Mark’s guidance, confidence and great sense of humour, I finally felt comfortable behind the wheel. I couldn’t recommend him more learning to drive with him really was a ride!

My daughter had Mark, Northamptonshire, and he has been absolutely fabulous! Organised and accommodated her lesson times round her tight schedule, put himself out to go that extra mile with her. Taught her brilliantly meaning a first time pass and 0 minors!! Wow!! Supported her when things didn't go to plan (2 ... yes 2!! Cancelled tests by the examiners). He put her through her paces to get test ready & related so well to her as a young adult. All round brilliant instructor... we can't recommend him highly enough. She was so lucky to have him. my instructor was Mark. He was an amazing instructor made me feel so comfortable with driving and taught me all the rules of the road and answered all my silly questions. He was an amazing laugh and I love having him as my amazing instructor and I’d recommend him any time.

Curtis was brilliant so so patient and flexible. Passed in 9 months from scratch when I was still studying full time and working full time afterwards so he was absolutely brilliant. Passed four minors !!

After having a bit of a rocky start to driving I decided to start lessons with Neil and found learning to drive a much better experience. He is in an excellent instructor, really patient and supportive and has taught me to drive safely with confidence. He really went above and beyond and was determined to get me a test as soon as possible. Which has led me to pass first time today! - Couldn’t recommend him enough.

Highly recommend Neil Kilshaw. He has been encouraging, supportive and professional throughout my daughter’s lessons and even invited me to join them on a drive to see her progress. She passed first time, in record time and we can’t thank you enough.

I had a crash course with Alison Kewley, was a pleasant experience from the day I started! Wasn’t angry when I did wrong or annoyed just helped me and told me when I was right and wrong. Not only was I learning more minute by minute but she would tell me too repeat what I did wrong until I did right. Highly reccommend!

I would like to say a huge thanks to Will Berkley for helping me pass my test first time, after only 10 lessons. Will was always patient, encouraging, and flexible around my college hours, and I can't recommend him highly enough. Regarding, Rocco.

I came to mark extremely nervous about learning how to drive. Mark was punctual professional and exceptional at teaching me how to drive. Admittedly it had taken me a lot longer than others but mark was patient and honest about how I was getting on. I started a 20hr crash course with Alison kewley and I had the best experience with her. She was very informative on the areas where I needed work on and we got straight into it. She helped me pass first time and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking at passing there test first time as she has a great success rate.

Passed my test with Surepass first time last week with David Murdock as my instructor. David was brilliant and the perfect fit for me to learn to drive. He did everything at my pace and gave me control right from the beginning. He always explained things in detail and was always aware and able to pick up on any mistakes or habits forming and always came across in a friendly manner in his approach to correcting things. His communication was great and everything went smoothly as soon as I was assigned to him. He gave me advice on how I should take my lessons which ramped up the closer I got to my test and it provided me with the best results I could get. Best instructor I could have asked for and would recommend him to anyone.
