Loan shark type of company will never use again

Dawn Ruchman was very kind, friendly and helpful. She was easy to talk with. I thought I was going to have an extremely hard time canceling this finance, but she made it very pleasant.

Dawn was VERY helpful! I had called once before & spoke with a different representative. I was given inaccurate information. I called back & fortunately Dawn answered. She straightened out all of the problems & was able to help with my online account. I was so thankful I got Dawn on the line instead of another representative. Thank you, Dawn!!!!

I just had the worst customer service call as if I was bothering the provider with my call. I wish I knew they were this way before working with them

My husband and I got a loan thru this financial institution to replace or furnace last year and the financing Agent said “ you guys don’t have to pay interest for a year”. We trusted the agent to do the right thing, but it didn’t happen that way. We are paying interest and we tried to talk to agent, for him to fix the problem, he said that he will, but he never did. Adding to the situation, never called back or we can’t get in touch with him anymore. We wanted to go and talked to a supervisor regarding the matter, but we can’t because they don’t have an office, everything it’s handled by phone, that is what they told us. I wonder why. Just be careful with this financial institution.

Not only do they offer ridiculously predatory loans, which are not a problem for me because I fully have no issue paying mine off in full before I accrue interest, but they made the entire ordeal as painful as possible to ensure the maximum likelihood that you do NOT get to do that. For one, they send their monthly paper message in the mail on the exact day every month that your payment would be due and no earlier. Two, they make sure that you log into two different web portals every time you make a payment and have not changed this for the *multiple* years I have been paying my loan with them, while still claiming that there is an "old" website and a "new" one, they make you sign into the old one for YEARS now and then immediately ask you to sign into the new one AGAIN each time. They absolutely know exactly what they are doing.

MILITARY BEWARE!! Service Finance Complaint.
Worst loan I've ever had. Three years ago, my wife and I financed a small shed from a local company here in Columbus Ga. The lender was recommended by the shed company, and we financed it through service finance. About a tear into the loan, we had a family emergency so we up and left the state overnight. Upon returning home we realized we forgot about the small payment of 116.00 a month. Upon calling to make the payment a little over a week late we learned they had leaned our home. No phone call or any communication from them that the payment was a little late just up and leaned our property. I called their collections department to confirm this outrageous act and demanded they remove the lean. They said they will once the loan is paid in full. Now I have a failed AC system in my home and attempted to borrow the money from my bank via a second Morgage or a Home Equity Line of Credit (HLOC). Mt bank said everything looked great, there's plenty of equity in the home however the lean has to come off before final approval. I called service finance back. I told them look this is the smallest payment i have every month and you all up and leaned my property over this? It was a few days late and not since nor prior has the payment ever been late. They refused to understand my position. Unbelievable. I am contacting the BBB, CPA, my congressman and the state attorney general's office. Didn't even let us know or a genital reminder of the payment. Arguably not even late.

Dawn was very helpful and answered all my questions in a complete and professional manner. She was also very personable! She was able to gather all the loan documents I needed, and then send those to me immediately via email.

Predatory lending with poor representation to the end customer. Not "hidden" but very sneaky fees. It's the only company I've ever seen sneak in "per diem" interest rates. I would not recommend them for anyone. They are not honest and open with the end user.

Service finance was there to help me pay for new double pane windows from Champion. If it weren't for them I'd be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Their payment plan was helpful also. Thank you so much

I believe that the customer service is located in India. They refuse to tell the truth but all reps have had an Indian accent. And do not speak clearly or understand simple yes or no questions.

I have been in financial difficulties which resulted in my being delinquent. Merchants Blanc was polite, professional, and friendly. She assisted me in getting a payment option I could work with to bring my account current!
We need more people like her!

$18k in a loan only to find out that they do not support apple based programs. So yay, essentially you have to go out and purchase or download window based programs to access your account. The slap in the face reality that this company is technology discriminate. How sad. Note to future customers… be certain to have a windows based device or be prepared to buy envelopes and stamps with zero online access or support.

Tahesha was amazing! She listened patiently, answered my questions thoroughly and had a solution that she followed through with in real-time, even adding me to the email. A fantastic experience all around!
