Hidden Costs
If you are outside the UK you pay shipping, then when the item is en route you pay EU VAT + Duty courtesy of the shipping company, plus their 'brokerage charge' which amounted to more than the VAT+Duty! (and basically doubles their shipping fee).. Please raise this with the chosen shipping company.

Unfortunately, Irish Revenue applies VAT to imported goods to ensure they are treated the same as items sold within the EU. This VAT is payable when goods enter Ireland, and is outside of our control.
Unfortunately, the brokerage fee charged by UPS is determined by their own policies, and we’re unable to influence or waive these charges.

I was a bit nervous ordering from the old country, after all, can you really trust someone who taxes your tea? I have been trying, however to get a set of the Sordin T2's for many months and kept seeing them sit, available for purchase on your site all that time, so I took a chance and ordered them. Eleven days later, they were in my hands. Not quite what we get in the US from Amazon Prime, but considering oceans and all, not bad at all. I have Already cheerfully recommended SWATCOM to others. As my naval friends would say, Bravo Zulu.

Excellent service and product from…
Excellent service and product from Swatcom. However, DPD did not deliver to front door but left parcel next door on a shelf in the back garden. The delivery driver drove up the road to turn round, my wife went outside to wave him down and he just drove past. My neighbor was unaware of the delivery and we did not receive a card to say delivery had been made next door.
