Fantastic property
Fantastic property, very comfortable beds, lots of indoor space. We would definitely stay there again, we had a fab lunch at the local pub in the village.

Mill cottage - lovely
Mill cottage was a lovely quiet, comfortable and spacious cottage to relax. Located close to torbay and dartmoor area and easy to access. It is ideal if you just want to relax or treat as a base for exploring the area.
Booking process easy and owners were easy to contact and provided prompt responses. They were very helpful

Wonderful place
Wonderful place, if I could give it more stars I would! The house was perfect, well equipped and very comfortable. But the best bit was the views...just incredible! The morning sunrise was glorious to the brilliant night sky. I look forward to staying there again soon.

Ideal location!
This is the 5th time of staying at the sunnybeach apartments. They're spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay there.
We've stayed in the winter time and the apartments are very well heated and superbly comfortable.

The barn was very clean and nicely…
The barn was very clean and nicely decorated.The garden would have been wonderful on a sunny day as it is enclosed and has a great view. Good communication from the host and check in from 2pm is a bonus.

Excellent location with free parking.
Thought location of apartment was excellent with free allocated parking space. Apartment was very clean and tidy with a great size bathroom and lovely shower.Bedroom and bed good size.
Lounge area great..with good kitchen facilities and plenty of crockery and cutlery.
Minor downsides..very creaky floor infront of sink in kitchen and hallway which was very annoying.. sofa not overly comfortable and could have been made better aware of very steep stairs for booking as apartment on 2nd floor.
Not impressed with constant "polite " reminders of checkout time on day before we were due to leave via email and on information tablet in apartment.
Extra guests bedding could have been removed from bedroom instead of 2 large bags of bedding being dumped in there..It was clear from booking that only 2 people staying.

We’re also sorry if our checkout reminders felt excessive — they’re meant to be helpful, but we’ll review our messaging to ensure it feels more considerate in future.
Regarding the extra bedding, the apartment is always prepared for the maximum number of guests in case of last-minute bookings or changes in guest numbers, so all bedding is ready for immediate use. We understand this may have seemed unnecessary for your stay, and we appreciate your understanding.

Great property but admin needs improvement
Great property and easy booking process.
However multiple bank accounts created confusion and asked for full payment twice, over a month apart to exacerbate this issue. There needs to be an improved portal for payments or administrative process to be improved.

A very enjoyable stay
The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished, well equipped. The position was great. It was good value.
Just one issue- my father has reduced mobility so he struggled with the last four steps because there’s no hand rail.
A very minor point- we didn’t take shower gel as we assumed there would be some.

Great little apartment in an excellent location with high quality clean bedding and towels.
Very nicely presented and easy check in.
Only slight issue was the tight parking and the inner stairs down to the apartment which were quite hard to manage for my elderly mother.
Overall though a very enjoyable stay.

Evidence of damp and mould in the main…
Evidence of damp and mould in the main bedroom on the ceiling. Owner stated that there'd been some heavy rainfall that had caused it. It was evident it had been there sometime. We stayed for a week and would have expected the towels to have been refreshed mid way through. Owner states that if we wanted clean ones we should have used the coin washing machine and dryer there. Over £1k for a weeks stay and need to do the washing and pay for it? Really

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear parts of your stay did not meet expectations. The ceiling mark you mention followed an unusually heavy period of rainfall and has since been repaired to prevent any recurrence.
Regarding towels, our property information states that the self-service laundry facilities are available for guests during their stay. We don’t currently provide a mid-stay towel change as standard, but we appreciate your comments and will review our approach to see if improvements can be made.

I see no reason to look elsewhere
Was our latest of several visits over the last 4 or 5 years, and because of the location, the facilities, the standard and value I see no reason to look elsewhere. It's right on the sea-front, the shops are 2mins walk behind it, there's parking, it's got everything you need from an apartment, and we've already booked up for next year.

Great holiday
Had another great holiday at Sunnybeach in Little Lobster. The apartment was clean and well equipped and the WiFi was fast and reliable. The location is ideal, close to all amenities and the room had a wonderful sea view.

we would highly recommend Sunnybeach,very clean indeed, the extra little things,towels,t/cloths,etc,etc
my only little moan is, the dessert spoons were a bit on the large size, for my liking. we will be back,hopfully next June
