From the moment you choose the fabric with a friendly helpful staff member, Lianne, in our case, you are treated with respect and kindness. The whole set up is very professional , completion date given and the actual upholstery is very well done. We have used this company several times over the years and they can be totally trusted. They do provide a pickup/ delivery service but we did not require this service

Very good service.The sofa bed was reupholstered to a very high standard. All the staff were very polite and efficient. The item was collected and returned by 2 very hard workers. I would use this company again if I had any other items to reupholster

We had spoken with other upholsters and quite frankly not only were we unimpressed, we began to worry if we would find anyone who could help us reupholster our two much loved large sofas and armchair.
Then we came across a TV interview on South West Upholstery and their approach to sustainability. We went along to see their set up and what they had to offer. From that very first visit to selecting the fabrics with their guidance, placing our order, collection of the items and then receiving our newly upholstered furniture back, we received a first class professional service throughout.

Without exception, everyone we have met or spoken with at SWU have gone above and beyond in helping us get a fantastic outcome to our treasured sofas and armchair.

I had a beautiful sofa that no longer matched my room scheme, this company was fantastic. From the first enquiry to the finished sofa arrival . Emails answered quickly, all questions clearly responded too and my goodness we are thrilled the sofa is beautiful! Everything done on time , delivery and collection went smoothly with courteous employees . We will use them again for sure and highly recommended them and their services.

Our characterful and much loved old sofa had two feather-stuffed seat cushions. The covers were in good condition but the fillings had lost their vitality and support.
South West Upholstery introduced us to their wide range of filling options; 2 weeks later, we enjoyed sitting in the plush comfort that had been missing for see one time.
Oh! And the price was about 25% less than I would have expected for such a high quality service.

We have used SW Upholstery a couple of times in the past and have always been pleased with service and finished product. Most recently we had a 15 year old cuddle chair re-upholstered with South West Upholstery and are delighted with the results! The quality and skill of your workmanship and finish is great!

Fabulous Service from South West Upholstery: forwarded me links to a huge array of fabrics for recovering my two sofas. I had very specific requirements: loose covers that could be washed, in velvet and hardwearing cotton weave. Would definitely recommend: both the accounts office and delivery persons were super friendly and efficient. Thank you.

I had a new set of loose covers made for my sofa, with new seat cushions and it looks fantastic, like a completely new sofa. The team at SW upholstery were really helpful and arranged for the various fabric samples I chose to be posted to me. Communication was good and the quality of the work is excellent. This is the second time I have used SWH. Leanne in customer service is friendly and very efficient. She was great in providing some technical knowledge and helped us choose the right product for our renovations. The work was done within 2 weeks as promised and we are very happy with the results and look forward to using our sofa for another 15 years. The workmen who I have encountered twice on my collection days, were extremely helpful and friendly and one gets the feeling that the company really cares about both employees and customers. I will use them again.

We had our four seater sofa re upholstered, the craftsmanship in the detail is fantastic, however the foam in the cushions are solid making the sofa very uncomfortable. Having contacted the company afterwards about this I was advised that they would settle, however after a month the cushions are still solid. A further quote was provided for hollow fibre cushions but this would be at a further expense and that they don’t offer a super soft foam option which would be a preferred option to hollow fibre. Disappointed with end product as a result.
