It was our first time booking with TMR but I can honestly say they were really easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. They provided us with a detailed printed daily timetable/plan which was very user friendly. Our trip was to Germany, Frankfurt, Dresden and Düsseldorf. All journeys went to plan. Frankfurt was the only place where we felt uncomfortable due to the location of the hotel by the railway station. The area is very run down with people openly using drugs. We would recommend using a hotel in a better district but this would mean using a taxi. Frankfurt old town is lovely.
Dresden is a beautiful place and while there took advantage of the rail tickets included with the package to Pirna, another lovely place.
Düsseldorf is a lively place on the Rhine with lots of bars, restaurants and shops.
We had a great time exploring Germany.
We would definitely book through TMR again as we felt it was a very well organised independent holiday.

Excellent trip from initial booking to arriving home. The staff who booked our trip were very helpful and courteous. The pre trip information was very useful. All our travel was stress free even when one of our trains was cancelled due to a rail strike in Italy so we were booked onto an alternative route and informed well ahead of time. All the hotels booked were of an excellent standard with superb breakfasts which kept us going most of the day. We had the most wonderful experience and holiday and look forward to booking another trip. Thank you Tailor made Rail. Superb!

We had an absolutely amazing 8-day holiday with Tailor Made Rail and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Every part of the journey was seamless and perfectly organised.
We were fortunate to visit some truly stunning destinations including Salzburg, St. Moritz, Strasbourg and Zermatt — each stop offering something unique and memorable. The real icing on the cake was travelling Excellence Class on the Glacier Express. The panoramic views were simply breathtaking and made the experience even more special.
The accommodation throughout the trip was excellent, and travelling between destinations was straightforward and stress-free. Everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the journey and scenery.

This was a truly unforgettable holiday, and we would highly recommend Tailor Made Rail to anyone looking for a beautifully planned and exceptional rail experience.

Our bespoke itinerary was relatively simple but TMR were totally flexible to accommodate our requests.
They are very responsive and efficient with all documentation supplied electronically.

All the train connections to and from Prague were met (about 12 in total!). The hotels in Prague and Nuremberg were superb. A lovely break of 6 days over Christmas. Once again Tailor Made Rail provided us with a wonderful holiday

Clara arranged and delivered exactly what I asked for! She was really tolerant of my ‘generational anxiety’ about using the app and it really was as easy to use as she described. The hotels that she selected where well situated and absolutely outstanding standard.
The only let down was the absence of anyone on the emergency help line when it looked like the Nightjet would be cancelled on the way home, having been delayed an hour and 1/2. Eventually the train arrived but we certainly would have been on our own in a deserted station at 23:00 on a Sunday night with absolutely nothing within a mile radius open!!
Despite this glitch, which left my daughter and I feeling a little vulnerable, I would absolutely recommend this company.
