$1000 for 3 sessions 25 min long. Didn’t receive a bill until 3 sessions later and luckily cancelled the 4th.

Horrific platform, the WORST telemedicine platform I have ever used, can't log in, they make you send medical records via an email, they spam you with reminders. They outsource customer support to the Philippines - avoid like the plague

They were horrible with communication and could not provide an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Once the appointment finally arrived, the doctor was not equipped to help my disorders or assist me in any way .

This service is terrible. Not only did my provider do a complete drug test and pregnancy test after confirming I’m not on drugs and had a surgical procedure to prevent pregnancy. I tried to log in for my follow up appointment and was given a “45 min” wait timer, followed by a text stating my call was in an hour. Then someone called asking why I wasn’t logged into my appointment. I had tried. The link would not go active for another hour. This program is awful to work with and the providers don’t believe anything you say anyway.

I myself am a therapist, and this was hands down the worst therapy experience I have ever had. My psychiatrist routinely cut my session short and helped me not one bit. He never asked about me other than my meds, and expressed no empathy or curiosity. In my last session, I was crying the whole session and he cut me off at 18 minutes without asking me what was wrong. I was billed, however, for a full session with an extra $160 slapped on for "therapeutic techniques." I am a therapist myself, so know what therapeutic techniques might entail, but none of these were used in our 18 minute session. We only talked about my meds and what pharmacy to send them to. But, this 18 minute session was billed at $640!!!!! I tried to dispute this charge with Talkiatry, but came up against a brick wall- they would not even deduct the $160 "therapeutic technique" charge. How could you use therapeutic techniques and take care of med management in 18 minutes??? THIS PROVIDER IS FRAUDULENT .

The reviews are very accurate….This is just another Money-Grab.

Good reviews about the dr’s but dismal reviews about the overall experience.

I contacted my insurance company about my potential cost since i have not met my deductible. I will be 100% responsible for the next $2000.
They said to contact Talkiatry for an estimate of the overall cost in advance.
Talkiatry billing was unwilling to disclose the cost to me, stating that it depends on what they charge insurance. This is a bit of a run-around. I dont want to find out after its too late to change my mind.

Predatory billing practices, double billing sessions for psychiatry *and* psychotherapy in which psychotherapy is apparently just listening politely and agreeing. Majorly scammy.

Don't hope they gonna help with anything.
If you need a psychiatrist go to a real one, Talkiatri doesn't give any prescription. They gonna say you take Melatonin....

I am so very grateful for Talkitry! When my psychiatrist quit taking my Insurance and I had to quickly find a new Dr., In order to get my meds refilled and taken care of for the future, they were a Godsend! I started searching and was not having any luck finding one close. Even in Dallas I only found 1 group and it was so far away that medical transport through my insurance company wouldn’t take me. I no longer have transportation and finding a ride from family or friends isn’t always possible.
I kept seeing Talkitry pop up. Having no luck otherwise I started reading about it, answered the questions, my insurance covered my appointments 100%, so I read several bios of different psychiatrists, found one that sounded good and scheduled my first appointment. Doing the brief surveys about myself and how things were going with me, a few days before my appointment, was fast and easy. They sent half a dozen reminders and two places to click and connect and I was chatting with my new Dr.
Dr Benjamin Chambers is a fabulous psychiatrist! I like his style and professionalism. He’s fun to just chat with also. I always come away very uplifted from my appointments. He’s is very personable and easy to talk to.
Tallkiatry and Dr. Chambers have been a huge blessing to me, In every possible way. The online appointments are still face - to - face, but no need to get dressed up and .take long car rides, so it saves a lot of time. I have no co-pays. There is no delay getting medication refills. I can contact him anytime, should a need arise. Everything about it is Perfection‼️

I'm very happy with my Talkietry experience. I was easily able to find a provider and get an appointment scheduled. The Dr. was very professional and attentive to my needs. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with her.

There are so many doctors to choose from. I felt like the one I chose fit my needs and my personality perfectly. Another good point is if your doctor is not available (vacation or something similar) there are so many other doctors on the platform if an emergency arises. It's easy to make appointments, easy to get follow-up, it's a good platform.

It's basically a scam. Got billed with $700 that I was never made aware of.

Your service allows me to maintain face to face contact with my provider, which was extremely important to me. Thank you.
