Late Cancellation & Poor Inventory Management

I placed an order for a delivery to a funeral house. The order was cancelled due to lack of stock and email for refund was sent to me but what is more disappointing is that they didn't show their stock beforehand when placing the order. My delivery was scheduled for 10 am and they informed at around 11:30 am. I had to look for another florist who can deliver it which was troublesome.

Instead they took my order and emailed me first thing in the morning that "oh we have a supply issue." Absolutely unacceptable. I wish I had seen the reviews before I ordered from them. Absolute garbage customer service. Don't buy from here.

4 days. No flowers. USAA PENDING $104.58

I placed an order March 5, 2026, to be delivered on March 6 at 11 AM. This was for an 85th birthday in Laveen, AZ. Sadly, there was no delivery. The “deluxe” bouquet was over $100 with delivery. And, YES, the charges were accepted and seen on my USAA card, but listed as PENDING. I tried to reach this florist, but no answer. Finally this morning, March 9, 2026, someone answered the phone. Poor girl. She was not sure exactly what was going on and put me on hold for 8.5 minutes. On her return she said she was UNABLE to reach the DELIVERY TEAM.. Neither I nor the recipient were notified that there would be no delivery. I repeat, “My order was for a deluxe bouquet well over $100 plus delivery.” There have been a number of reports just like mine, but I foolishly did not research prior to order. I’m reporting this “business” to the Better Business Bureau there in Phoenix. I have also contacted my USAA account. The charges are listed today as PENDING. I am not sure about this outcome.

Terrible business dishonest owners

I placed two orders for more than $125 each within ten days to the same address in Seattle from this florist; the florist charges a $19 “service charge” which you only learn at checkout. The first order arrived. The second one didn’t. The orders were for an ailing relative. I emailed the morning after the second order was supposed to arrive and they just said they were looking into it. Even when I explained the flowers were for someone who was very ill they offered no concern, and no solution. Having received no help by email I called customer service which is outsourced. After a long wait they said there was an attempted delivery but no one answered the door. This is completely false - there are people there around the clock. Then they said the flowers would be delivered the next morning. It’s 6 pm local time and there are no flowers - they are now three days late. Unfortunately my relative is now unconscious and will not get any enjoyment from the flowers if they actually arrive. I have emailed customer service three more times. They are not responding.

Terrible business owned and run by dishonest people.

Zero stars should be an option. I ordered three days before the delivery date, and the driver didn’t wait long enough for my mother‑in‑law to get to the door. I was told a tag should have been left so she could request a re‑delivery, but no tag was found anywhere. I had to call three different times, which completely ruined the surprise. The wait times were long, and the customer service was not helpful at all. When my mother‑in‑law called to ask about the re-delivery, they told her I had to call, making the whole situation even more frustrating. So far, I’ve spent a lot of time and money, ruined her surprise, and have received nothing in return. Use another company.

DON'T DO IT! These Are Scammers

Absolutely cannot recommend ordering from terrys florist. Ordered flowers to be sent to the hospital for my mom. Sure, its over the weekend so I'm giving them time.... FIVE DAYS LATER I still haven't received her flowers and she's being moved to rehab.

When I call them to ask what's going on, they tell me that they need to investigate it on their end and ask the delivery driver where it was delivered.

I'm telling them I never received my order ($170 total!), I've been with her at the hospital every single day and I just want them sent to her rehab or cancel the order. They are refusing to do so! Won't do anything until they hear from their delivery driver?!?!

Please don't order from Terry's florist, you will regret it like I do!!

My order for my fiancé was not complete and dealing with the rep was atrocious. Telling me nothing was left off the order when I am looking at the invoice they charged and not received. Will not use this company again. Don't use this company!!!!

I wish I’d read the reviews

I wish I’d read the reviews. The arrangement that I sent weren’t delivered. When asked, they said there was a supply issue. There was no notice, no effort t communication. I’m quite angry.

Never delivered, never told

I am furious with Terry's Florist. I ordered flowers for my grandmother's visitation, which I was not able to attend due to health reasons. I only found out today (two days after they should have been delivered) that they never arrived. I had to email them to find out they had a "supply issue" that they never bothered to tell me about. Hoping I get my refund. Do not use them.

Florist cancelled order due to lack of flowers !

I placed an order online for next day delivery of sympathy flowers to an out of state friend. Later in the day I received an email telling me the order had been cancelled due to "supply issues". When I called to ask if a different arrangement was available, I was told that they would not have more flowers available for a few days ! I don't understand how a legitimate florist can run out of flowers on a Tuesday ! When I then saw other negative reviews regarding poor quality products and service, I decided that I had dodged a bad thing. I was successful in ordering from another local florist.

If I could give them no stars - SCAM!

If I could give them no stars, I would. The flowers did not arrive for the funeral service, and I was given the runaround when requesting a refund. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a floral company. In my 25 years of ordering flowers, I have never had to worry about the flowers arriving on time. DO NOT order anything from them. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general. It's a rip-off scam!

Don't Order from Terry's Florist

Terrible experience from taking the order to "delivery". Besides having to repeat myself several times during the order process, they could not deliver same day but set the expectation for delivery the following morning (24 hours later.) By the time they delivered the flowers - 30 hours later - the recipient was discharged from the hospital. No email that "delivery" was even made. Forget trying to call customer service. You speak with MaryJane, Joy or Bernadette who are in another country. They are only out for your money. Stay away from this "florist"!

I can't leave a zero. Terrible quality that was nothing like advertised. Delivery was 3 days late and the arrangement was already in poor shape. DONOT USE THESE CROOKS!

Same song, different verse…

I could take time to provide details of my experience but it would be redundant. Every review I read here is my story in one way or another. I suspect that Roses by Ruth is a related scam business because I experienced the same issues with them…lying, supply issues, canceled order. I’d hoped Terrys would be different. With Terry’s a bouquet was actually delivered but it was absolutely nothing like the image of what I ordered and it was pathetic…about 1/3 of the flowers shown in the arrangement I paid for and in no way was done by a professional florist. Obviously I should have done research on the company before placing my order. I hope the reviews on this site will prevent others from falling for this scam.

SCAMMERS! BUYER BEWARE!

SCAMMERS! BUYER BEWARE! Ordered florwer’s for my sisters funeral. NEVER arrived! Then ordered from their sister company Nora’s Flowers; never arrived. They should be ashamed of themselves! Disgusted with this company. It was a complete disrespect and embarrassment for my family.

ALWAYS check reviews before ordering! That the lesson I learned after ordering from this “business”. Ordered birthday bouquet for a friend (the expensive upgrade) and what was delivered looked like a gas station bouquet for $5.99! I was so angry and embarrassed. In the end I did get a refund but what a freaking hassle!!

Funeral flower arrangement

I ordered the Heartfelt Condolences arrangement for a funeral from the Terry’s Florist website website on 8/28. When the flowers were delivered I was shocked and embarrassed. The arrangement delivered looked nothing like the “premium” arrangement I ordered and paid extra for. When I sent an email to their customer service asking for a phone call to reach a resolution for this problem they sent me an email. They apologized and said they were processing a $25 refund for me. They said this was to make things right. I definitely did not agree that this “made things right.” The flowers were for a funeral and the arrangement was not the size or quality that I paid for. At best, it was half what I paid for.
Terry’s Florist is not a reputable or trustworthy business. I definitely do not want anybody to experience the poor product or poor customer service that they offer. Definitely choose another florist!!

After reading all these 1 stars we were…

After reading all these 1 stars we were worried about our purchase as we made the decision quickly and only did some DD afterwards. But the service was delivered exactly as described and on time. So no this is not a scam. We are happy with the purchase, our family is happy. Maybe a little pricey but the flowers turned out beautiful. Would recommend.
