If I could give a 0 I would! After a delayed delivery I cancelled my order, tried cancelling through the company numerous times with no response then Wowcher was able to help and confirmed they’ll refund, then the mattress was attempted to be delivered so I refused delivery, 3 days later I’ve got another text they are going to deliver the mattress. I DONT WANT IT. Left lots of voicemails and sent emails to cancel this order. The delivery company they use is also impossible to contact. I am fed up and genuinely looking to take this further if this doesn’t get resolved. UPDATE : they’ve replied apologising for a delayed delivery! Clearly not responding to my order cancellation or reading my emails

Goods are NOT as described and when you try to resolve issues, they don't make much of an effort!
Its a deal WOWCHER (jan/feb 2026) so my advice is AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I eventually obtained a full refund from wowcher after waiting over a month for it to be sorted by the company, which they did not do!

AWFUL IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!

Bought what I thought was an excellent mattress via a Wowcher deal.
Wish I had read the reviews first and I wouldn’t have wasted my time. What they select was the softest mattress with springs. No sign of anything else within it although whoever is corresponding with me via email is arguing otherwise. There’s no label of any description on it to confirm what they say? Been offered a refund but I refuse to pay the fee! I’ll just learn from this expert going forward!

Avoid buying mattress from That Mattress because it’s a scam. You get a mattress full of springs you wouldn’t let your dog sleep on it.

I ordered a gel mattress with foam worth £899
and received a flimsy sprung/coil type mattress that a child could throw around the room.
It is going straight to the tip and easily because I can fold it up into bits

I wouldn't even give them 1* of I could. Absolutely awful company avoid! Mattress is useless bends in the middle has no support the springs creak Everytime you use it. Won't refund won't organise a return even though it clearly states on their website that they offer free return for goods not as described.
Reported to trading standards this company needs to be shut down. Go elsewhere and never use these

Same as all the others, wish I had read the reviews first. Bought a mattress via wowcher, rubbish and not fit for purpose, after a lot of emails to “that mattress and live chats to XDP They agreed to take it back and refund the money. Mo mentions of it going back to wowcher. This was around 8 weeks ago now and it’s still stuck in my bedroom. I have emailed 6/7 times and had no response I have asked if they are picking it up or should I give it to charity. Nothing. It’s really frustrating it’s in my way. I have no idea what is going on with it and all my refund money is stuck in a wowcher account. Absolutely fuming and wowcher is a waste of time too

Wish I'd read the reviews!! Bought a voucher from Wowcher for memory foam mattress topper aide my disability and got a cheap sprung mattress that was worth little to nothing.
Contacted the seller and was told it was not advertised as a memory foam mattress. I sent proof and they said that as an 'exception' they would refund me and take the mattress back. Asked repeatedly for proof I had gotten this sale wrong and got nothing! No apologies not compassion just details about the return. Initially they wanted me to foot the bill but after many emails they submitted and arranged for a collection. No update a week later about the refund until I emailed them and they informed me to went through Wowcher (who evidently credit your Wowcher account!! But that's another review).
Absolutely shocking and can't understand how these people sleep at night! Ombudsman will be getting a call next

was sent a nice looking mattress was supposed to be a memory foam gel mattress, what i got was an open pocket spring mattress, supposed to be £999 with 87% off, so paid 124.99 when you get the wowcher you go to their website to book delivery, but they then ask you for 19.99 delivery extra....the mattress doesnt hold weight and you can feel the springs, didnt realise till next morning after sleeping on it, no replies to emails.. AVOID!!!!!!!

Sell through wowcher faulty goods then neither respond to collect or reimburse faulty goods unused when opened and expanded. They send active spring10 to 13 zone memorgybgel mattress that have no support n springs sticking out !

I recently bought a mattress through Wowcher that was supposed to retail at £800 which they were selling for £89. I was sent the totally wrong mattress and when I queried it I was told it was the one I ordered. It was NOT totally different colour, no memory foam, extremely poor quality. It has taken me over five weeks to get them to collect it and get my money back as they were trying to fob me off with credit (no thank you I’m never buying from you again) Please spare yourself the stress and don’t order from them.

Absolutely shocking company. Using different names and hiding behind Wowcher. Mattress sold as extra thick memory foam. I received a badly sprung badly stitched vacuumed packed sorry excuse for a mattress. And what kind of mattress company vacuum packs a sprung mattress anyway?? They arranged for a courier to collect it and surprise surprise the courier never showed up and did not respond to my emails or live chat requests. And on further investigation they are also notoriously poor at doing their job too
So basically avoid this company at all costs. Scammers. And have been reported to trading standards as have wowcher

1 star is generous, absolute sham. Ordered through wowcher, a 13 zone gel memory mattress. The mattress which was delivered could not even support itself. Terrible quality. Dont use them.

Ordered a "extra thick 13-zone gel memory foam mattress". Couldn't be further from the item that arrived. A thin, lumpy, open coil mattress barely fit for an animal. No response from Chester & Oakley / That Mattress / who knows how many other names they trade under to avoid people seeing reviews.
Wowcher have been useless in helping, long delays between communication, blocked my credit card providers request for a chargeback. So I am left significantly out of pocket, with a mattress I couldn't even give away in good conscience. All quotes to have the mattress sent back via courier, aren't financially viable. Will be reporting to trading standards. Please don't fall for this scam.
It's disgusting that wowcher are complicitly scamming people out of their money and continuing to allow this mattress to be sold.
I originally purchased in November 2024 and this is still an ongoing and unresolved dispute.

Exactly the same as others have said.... I'd say it proves you only get what you pay for but in this case it's not worth the Wowcher deal I thought I was getting, says it's worth £899, imo, not worth £50... ... We're all trying to save money as everything is going up in price but it Cost more than it's worth to return and Wowcher do not respond to emails so I've deleted my account with them...... Lesson learned, wish I'd read reviews ☹️

@Zana Muhsen, I had exactly the same, from Wowcher and really not as described. The topper wasn't even on straight, it's all knock-off rubbish sold as something else by dodgy folk.
The company is actually Chester and Oakley Beds Ltd. Companies House lists the history of many directors, the longest being in office 2y, most exactly 1y and one just 1d!
I received a cheap coil sprung mattress, not the advertised 13-zone gel memory foam mattress from the ad. When I asked for the correct item, they said "It has the advertised features". Yeah, what, King size and a mattress? That's all it had in common. Collection was a ball-ache and I had to chase the courier to deliver it so I could get my refund. Still waiting. The police and govt need to crack down on scams like this.

The matteress I ordered was described as gel memory foam, couldn't be further from the truth. All spring very uncomfortable. I don't know how wowcher get away with it. Definitely asking for a refund.

Absolutely horrendous.
The item arrived the wrong size and not as described - has been a nightmare to get collection of the item and still haven’t received our money back!

Avoid at all costs - wowcher are no better for selling products that they have been told repeatedly by customers are wrong!
