Needed to make it more robust
The chicken house we assembled verses the image on the website was subtly different. We wondered if the image on their website had been slightly ai enhanced as it looked more robust?
We have photos and hope somehow we can upload them.
Since buying the coop we have discovered makes made out of recycled plastic like omlet and nestera which seem more suited to our needs in hindsight, especially when considering red mite.
Wooden coops though are known for their design flexibility and this one is a nice design set up , but I would recommend a 14g galvanised mesh to be added to the mesh area with a skirt to make it fox proof (a normal upgrade needed for most wooden coops not just this one) and better bolts and especially hinge to the nesting area which is easily opened by a fox and doesn’t feel strong enough to justify a lock.
But to anyone, really really look at a website and look hard to think if they are AI generated pictures or real. Much easier to judge real images for quality.
