I bought a fly fishing set up from these people, cost $899. Came with rod, reel and line. The rod is worth $499 with them but now found it for $399 at other shops. The reel $399 but found it for $350 at other shop. That’s a big difference in price so this business is much more expensive compared to others. I would recommend to other people to shop around at other shops before buying off these guys because I could have got the same set up at another shop for $700.
Edited after shops reply: I visited the other shop in person, held the rod and looked at the reel in the cabinet. I had a good look at the $700 set up that I paid $899 for from you. Unfortunately you’re just much more expensive than the other guy. Much much much more expensive!

The Flyfisher Melbourne is FANTASTIC!
My purchase was over the phone and online. Staff were very friendly and helpful with my purchase and finding what was best for my Saltwater Fly trip. Prices reasonable.
I will continue to recommend The Flyfisher to my friends. Postage was also easy to regional Victoria. Even with COVID-19 restrictions, my parcel arrived safe and sound and importantly, on time.

Not everything was available but I got a prompt phone call to ask me about substituting an item.

Informative and helpful seller - competitive price, fast turn around and shipping.

I would have given five stars except that an item I ordered was not available even though on the site it said it was (hence why I placed the order through them). Having said that, they contacted me quickly and went through the options as to how we could solve the issue. In the end they ordered in the reel spool for me from the ‘States and had it delivered at the same price that they originally advertised at. Overall, I am happy with the service (seem like good people too from what I can tell over the phone) and would be willing to deal with again without qualm.
