25 glass globe ceiling light.

I ordered a beautiful ceiling light. We are renovating a house so it took a while for us to fit it. It is perfect apart form one glass globe which the company are replacing for me free of charge and it’s good to know that there are replacements if needed. I would buy from here again.

Excellent quality

The bubble light is so beautiful, I’m so pleased with how it looks. The delivery was prompt and the customer service has been excellent.
I have purchased more lights for my house and I can’t wait to receive them.

Avoid

Avoid. Company has a very good front and from their website make you believe it’s high quality goods from the UK. However immediately after I ordered it became clear that this business is not in the UK and is in fact in China - using an UK address as a front. Delivery took very long & I soon realised it was just cheap cr*p.

We ordered ‘ 8-Light Linear Opal Glass Chandelier’ which was over £300 yet it’s incredibly flimsy and terrible quality. Two of the Opal Glass Balls were cracked on arrival and can you quite clearly see the cracks both when the light is on and off.

I contacted House Lights and was told they could ship out two new balls however they didn’t keep them in the UK (again another sign this is just a front!) and it would come from overseas, meaning another 10-15 working days for delivery.

They offered me 5% for the compensation due to the hassle, long wait and quality of the light - but it is completely unacceptable! I will be contacting my bank for a charge back unless this company refunds me in full.

UPDATE

Company came back and offered me a full refund as long as I cut the wires & sent photos of the smashed globes. Which I have done & yet still no refund processed.

Light was faulty on arrival & the customer service has been terrible. I’m trying to jump through hoops for replacement / refund and now left out of pocket with no light!!!!!

When you informed us about the two broken globes due to shipping damage, we immediately arranged replacements for you. However, you requested both a 50% refund and the reshipment of the globes, which we were unable to accommodate. This is why we asked for the cut wires and photos as part of the process for issuing a full refund.
As agreed, we fully refunded your order in September. It's important to note that your review doesn't reflect the full situation or the solutions we provided. We always strive to address issues promptly and were more than willing to help resolve this matter.

First class service

From ordering to customer communication, the service provided was excellent. The light was delivered well packaged and safely, with extras provided in case of damage. Easy and clear instructions for installation.

Would highly recommend .

Fantastic

Fantastic! Really quick dispatch and delivery. Light looks great (exactly as shown in advertisement. Excellent communication from Kristin throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from again.

Very good customer service

Had to wait a while for my order to arrive but had nothing but the best customer service in terms of keeping me updated about the delivery. Kristen was especially good at responding to any emails and always so helpful and reassuring.

AVOID…

Recently bought a light to go in out kitchen, which has just arrived 4 weeks after ordering. I am usually very good at checking reviews but on this occasion I didn't so accept some responsibility.
The lights cost £150 and is terrible! Very cheap looking and has come with no instructions. Husband is having a nightmare trying to install it. The company claim to be in England but our item was shipped from China. Everything about the light is flimsy and not well made. Please save your money and go elsewhere!

I bought three lights in January

I bought three lights in January, they arrived within the time frame. I did not open them until 3 days ago when I noticed there was a missing part on one of them. I emailed customer service and had a chat with Kristin who was amazing. Though I bought the lights 6 months ago, they are happy to send the missing part. Also, I absolutely love my lights, they are so beautiful and have given my home a complete new look. I will definitely recommend.

Great customer service

Ok I waited weeks for my light to get a message from the courier saying it was too big for them to deliver. I had a great response from Kristin at Thehouselights, although I had to wait for them to receive the return she ensured it was despatched to me immediately. So all in all fantastic customer service. The light is beautiful, I'm delighted.

Faulty goods received - no resolution offered

This company is frustrating they sent me something that clearly is missing the correct parts and they have been emailing me telling me that something that does not work works despite sending them the proof. It took a month to get my delivery having paid £230 and when it arrived it is not fit for purpose. Do not buy from this company

I give the one star but I’d give zero…

I give the one star but I’d give zero if possible. I order a light fitting and waited 7 weeks for any satisfaction. I have to hound them and chase them. Their responses were vague and non personal. They blamed DPD and only refunded me when I threatened to take things further. The address in the uk is bogus I now understand but the goods looked like they were being shipped from Hong Kong

I bought three of these Fabulous lights…

I bought three of these Fabulous lights which arrived quickly, I stored the lights for my new home. On opening a few shards were damaged which I knew I couldn’t get a replacement light as it had been two months since purchase however their customer service was amazing and supper responsive and are sending me replacements shards!! Fantastic company and will definitely be ordering more items from them.

8 light mid century opal

We've had 2 light fittings and both were delivered super quick, communication was great and items packaged securely. We loved the first one so much we got another. You do need to assemble the fittings which takes a bit of time.

I wished to order but research lead me otherwise

I wished to order , however these days you have to do some basic research as you have no idea who you ar3 dealing with and where they are located if something goes wrong .
The companies address is UNIT 1 Nile Street stoke on Trent ST6 2BG.
The Satellite image of this address now shows is at a non existent business park which has been completely demolished for housing , UNIT one was smack in the middle but is no more . Warning 1.
The telephone number has a dialing code for San Fernando Valley California , odd WARNING 2
Reading about delivery , in stock UK still gives rise to a two week delivery time , WARNING 3 .
You must make up your own mind , I didn’t purchase as a result , they are not cheap enough to take the risk , a 20 light firework pendant light £389 , what would I get , quality , function , self assembly , who knows ?

Not Legitimate Company

I was just checking to see if this was a legitimate company before ordering and I would say no. The address they claim to trade from is currently vacant and up for rent. I have recently been conned by Lightzey and not again!!!

So now in August they have added a reply saying they are genuine but the phone number is not a recognised UK number, they are still not listed at the address, it is a company who warehouses goods but not this actual company, so I think this is a Chinese company using a UK address to look legitimate. I never trust people who have to tell me to trust them.

Quality lighting range .. highly recommended

I bought chandelier from here and it looks classy at reasonable price. I really love it and received many compliments from family and friends.The house lights is my first choice when looking into lighting, its range is quite different to the market and its customer service is great.
