Items arrived rusted
Items arrived rusted, had to get a refund. We ordered two industrial clothes rails to fit side by side to one another. Upon building these we noticed flaking paint, with rust underneath. We then noticed paint bubbles, and more rust on the inside of the metal where there was no paint. They didn't ask for the items back despite my suggestion they arrange a collection for them, so we ended up having to take them to the recycling centre ourselves. Absolutely awful for sustainability and for quality control. First and last time purchasing from The Urban Mill.

Your feedback has been taken very seriously, and we've implemented additional quality checks in our shipping process to prevent such incidents in the future. We were pleased to process your requested refund promptly to resolve the situation.
In regards to your feedback about not collecting the damaged item, we'd like to share that we consciously made this decision as part of our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint. Sustainability and caring for the environment are important values to us. As the item has cosmetic damage and fully functional this can be donated and not disposed off.
We genuinely appreciate your understanding and patience throughout this process.

Failed to deliver, requesting more money
Made purchase, paying extra for next day delivery. Parcel was held in the delivery warehouse for days without explanation. It later transpired that the company had failed to attach the correct address to the parcel despite there being no error with the address I provided in any invoice.
After several back and forths, the company says the parcel has been returned to them because it had been held in the warehouse for too long. They then have the audacity to say they won't send it again unless I pay more for re-delivery.

The item left our warehouse with the label attached to the address which you submitted on your order.
DPD paused this delivery as they were unable to locate this address, my colleague requested for you to confirm your address and from here one number was missing from the address we had on file.
We contacted DPD to change the address however, as the order had been in the hold bay they had placed the parcel on a return to sender.
We emailed you to inform you that we would need to take a re-delivery fee as we are small business and we are not able to cover this fee. I can see my colleague is still awaiting your response.
