It appears their priority is collecting…

It appears their priority is collecting money, as they’ve sent me a bill for treatment from three years ago. My medical notes falsely state that I consented to a procedure I repeatedly declined. Despite trying to raise this issue, no one has addressed my concerns, and all responses have focused solely on payment. AVOID

If I could score 0 star I would

My dog had a lump tested back in December. Came back inconclusive and told to monitor. Lump grew quite a bit so visited again and was advised to do another FNA which we did.

Was told to call on Monday for the results. I called Monday, I called Tuesday, I called Wednesday and each time I was given assurance a vet would call me.

I ended up on Wednesday having enough and asking for the lab report. As you can imagine it was very heavy on medical lingo but i used AI to interpret it. It suggested a removal of tissues ASAP due to spindle cell population which is common in soft tissue sarcoma (cancer). I asked for a call from the practice manager as I was concerned they were not seeing this as urgent. Still waiting for that call now.

In the meantime I called a new Vet surgery and registered my dogs there. They seen my dog the same day and have scheduled the surgery for in 2 days time.

Please do not give any of your business to the Pet Vet (Liverpool) as they have no care of your animal and are only interested in getting your credit card into the card reader.

I manage a pet Facebook group in Merseyside that has over 6k members. I will never recommend these to anyone on there either

We can’t dispense medication in time

I went to the the vet pet in lorenzo drive in norrisgreen to pick up Marco holmes wormer and flea stuff that I ordered 5 working days ago they kept me waiting for 15 minutes to tell me the vet had arthorised the prescription , they have had five working days, like a said like I’ve got nothing better to do then come here after work to b told no medication it hasn’t been approved and all the vets are in busy. I said this is making you look incompetent coming here after work for nothingso the vet for pets can’t do a simple task like that and there soposed to be caring for your pets.

VET NOW Herne Bay

VET NOW Herne Bay, I took my dog as agreed to the emergency vet and before I agreed to any treatment the vet had cannulated and dated him before I had been advised.
The dog, who I removed from the vet left the cannula in and then said if I wanted to leave the dog from 22.00 to 7am and I would have to pick the dog up on time or be charged for another day, at the charge of £1200.00. My dog was over sedated couldn't walk normally for days, inadequate and nightlight robbery.

Terrible

First experience with a vet. Not owned a pet before so didn’t really know what to expect. Booked for 2nd vaccine which was £69. Came out with a bill of over £160. I was told the microchip had fallen out and they had to replace it. They also gave us flea treatment when the puppy didn’t need this. Apparently she was given the Kennel cough vaccine which I had not asked for.

I assumed all this was mandatory as I was not asked if I wanted any of this done. Since speaking with others, they should have given us the opportunity to go back to the original vets regarding the microchip and shouldn’t have just done it. Phoned twice as still no call from the manager. Phoned back the 3rd time and the manager has gone home.

I have 3 cats with them for over 6 years, I have one of my cats teeth removed and was quoted a price, I was then told it had to be done iin 2 sittings after the 1st one they have demanded I pay the same amount again for the next extraction, AVOID as they have changed ownership and now are all about the money there is no customer service.

What a poor service

What a poor service. Took my dog in as she appeared under the weather panting licking her bits and weeing a lot. So instead of testing for a UTI which was supposed to have happened in the first lot of tests then straight into a specialist test which was over £950. Told as I had insurance that as I paid the excess I wouldn’t have to pay it up front then get a phoncall saying that I did have to pay upfront. Now I have been given a bill for a cancellation fee which they have only just detected from 2021. Have been in touch several times and promised call backs and not received any. Called again and told if I didn’t pay then they threatened debt recovery. Would not recommend this service at all.

Johann is the best Vet ever

Johann is the best Vet ever, my dog Ziggy absolutely loves him, he properly took the time to get to know her and her new treatment has made mountains of difference, he is always there for advice and help too, would never go anywhere else, the whole team are always happy to help and have just been so amazing.

Con artists with zero empathy

Terrible experience at the Vet Morden. My two cats were registered there for three years until recently. I’ve experienced several issues similar to what others have experienced. Zero empathy for my pets and only concerned with making a profit.

One of my cats got into an accident which caused a corneal ulcer (scratch) on his eyeball. A few weeks after forking out hundreds on treatment and vet check ups. His eyelid rolled in causing his eye lashes to scrape his eyeball. I had insurance for accident only as my cat is still young and the vet claimed that this was caused by an accident but the insurer (that they recommend!) wouldn’t pay out as the vet apparently told them it was underlying condition. The vet claimed that the insurers were lying and visa versa so I ended up forking out £1300 for corrective eye surgery. I believe they are working with the insurance company that they recommend to con customers into paying for the bill.

On the morning of surgery my cat had not eaten as requested by the vet since the evening before. I was told that I could collect him at lunchtime. When I called at lunchtime, he hadn’t gone in for his surgery yet so I ended up collecting him that evening. He was in a really bad state, they had obviously not fed him all day (I understand they couldn’t before surgery but what about the hours they insisted on monitoring him after?) this meant he had not eaten for over 24 hours. He also smelt strongly of urine so I suspect he wasn’t given access to a litter tray and/or was left sit in his own urine. I left with no post surgery instructions for his stitches.

A few days later I received a very odd email from them accusing me of writing a negative Google review and wishing my cat all the best in their recovery. Still no post surgery instructions.

Furthermore, my other cat did not receive the flea and worming treatment that I paid for through the pet plan (they also recommend) for seven months. I kept complaining about this and they would say to speak to the pet plan company as it wasn’t to do with them and the pet plan company said it was the vet’s responsibility to administer treatment. Eventually after lots of going backwards and forwards, they claimed that the treatment was sent (but I didn’t receive it!). As no one would fix the issue or reimburse me, I cancelled the pet plan for both cats. I’ve since been sent a bill for £124 for cancelling the pet plan early and I still haven’t been reimbursed the money I spent for the months I didn’t receive treatment..

Be really careful of signing up to the pet plan and insurance that they recommend. They’re definitely working together to con customers. They blame each other so you’re left with the bill.

I’ve since taken my cat to another local vet to remove his stitches and they were so empathetic and didn’t even charge me for it! What a difference.

Appalling price’s

Firstly I don’t appreciate the vet stinking of cigarettes in a tiny little room it is not very professional and should be a clean sterile environment!
I took my dog to the pet vet with an Aural Haematoma on her earlobe it cost £218 to drain it with a syringe and for some steroids, but it was back the next day, I was told the vet wanted to drain it a further 2 or 3 times but this wouldn’t have worked as there were some small clots so I said to the receptionist it was pointless and we would have the surgery when I asked for the cost of the surgery I was told £960.00 plus if they drained it a further 3 times the cost would be around £1500 the vet herself said it was a minor surgery which it is! A Spay is under £400 and is major surgery so how come your charging £960 for a minor procedure?
I got quotes from two other vets who quoted under £600

If you don’t want to be ripped off I’d use another vet. Appalling pricing!

Friendly , knowledgeable , best experienced staff I have ever encountered at a veterinary clinic .

Dreadful

Dreadful. Appalling customer service. They do not answer emails and do not deliver on customer service. I’ve been given the run around multiple times and told different things each time.
Incompetent staff who do not know what they’re doing.
I have been a loyal customer for nearly 4 years with 3 pets and I will NOT be returning. It’s absolutely dreadful.

Poor animal welfare

This so called vet does not meet promised time lines or deliver what she had sold. Vet and staff very argumentative and lack basic communication skills. They don’t grasp the difference between standing up for the welfare of your pet, or the service you have paid them for; and rudeness. They do not prioritise your pet’s well-being. As a minimum you would expect the vet to examine and touch your pet and to express a professional opinion during a consultation.
Having moved a number of times, we have been to many vets before. During my very first consultation with Huckleberries, it didn’t feel right. I wish I had listened to my intuition.
We have lost our young sweet beloved dog after some unnecessary harrowing final days. Have now registered our two other pets elsewhere to receive the professional veterinary treatment they so deserve.

Avoid The Vet Morden

Sadly we have to agree with all the criticisms and complaints made on here about The Vet Morden or PetVet Morden as they sometimes call themselves. We’ve found them nonchalant and arrogant and only interested in charging the most they can instead of caring for the animals they treat. Save yourself the stress they cause and take your pet elsewhere.

If I could zero stars. Arrogant staff and full of themselves

Warrington Vet nursing staff at reception are dredfull. Canceled my puppy £16.50 a month pet plan because was not worth to pay just for few ingejction per year. Own them £82.36 and asked to pay by installment and they refused by saying they are not a credit collection agency. Received letter from credit collector with almost £200 debt to pay. Debt collectors very rude and refused a settlement payment plan as The Warrington Vet wants the money straight away. Told them to go to court. Stay away from this people
