Excellent wine well packaged
Couldn't fault ordering and delivery. The wine bottles were well packaged. I ordered a case of red wines and a case of mixed wines.
I haven't given 5 stars because of the 'Tasting Notes' included for the mixed wine case which were a bit misleading before I actually got to see what was in the case. The mixed case promised (from the notes) 2 reds, 2 whites, a rose and a sparkling but actually consisted of only 1 red and 5 whites, hardly mixed! The wine was to be given as a present so a bit disappointing. That being said the wine itself is excellent.

Highly recommended
I send wine to my parents every year before Christmas. This year, my normal supplier wouldn’t deliver to Northern Ireland so I found a local northern Irish firm online and ordered from them. My parents were delighted with the wine, it was well packaged and delivery was prompt. I‘ll definitely be ordering again.

The delivery went very smoothly
The delivery went very smoothly. It was done within a few days rather than 2 weeks as advised on the website. The box of wine was excellent and both bottles were very good. I would recommend using their service especially for deliveries to Northern Ireland.

Misleading pictures.
I am sure the wine I ordered will be fine but I was annoyed upon its arrival that it was not anywhere near the vintage depicted on the website.
I know merchants can be very slow to update pictures sometimes but even in the write up next to the picture no indication was provided that what was pictured was not what you would be getting.
This issue could be particularly concerning if you were looking at a very good year for example.

I never got any update that it was…
I never got any update that it was delivered & my friend did not get the note I sent with it, she had no clue who sent it to her until I called a week later to check. Very embarrassing

Hi Patricia, I'm so sorry that you feel that we let you down but I can assure you that we did indeed include your message on our tasting notes which are personalised and accompany every box we send out and we keep a copy of them. With regards to an update on delivery, this comes in the form of an email from Parcelforce who deliver all our boxes and perhaps you were expecting an email from The Wine Company NI instead which is why it was missed. I do enjoy wine at the end of the week…
I do enjoy wine at the end of the week and I find it very refreshing when the people working at the store are knowledgeable about them enough to recommend a decent wine.
My experience was with Gilles. He asked me what my budget was and proceeded to point out an Italian wine that was just under it and it went down really well with my pizza that night.
