Hopeless: Thread couldn't care less

Bought a £200 coat. On the day it was due to be delivered, got a message saying that because of an "issue" my order was cancelled. My money would be reimbursed, but it would take a week. Result: this customer is annoyed by Thread's cancelling his purchase, is unimpressed by the fact that Thread didn't care to give a meaningful explanation, and is thoroughly disenchanted by Thread's failure to give an immediate refund. Terrible service, use at your risk.

Shoes too small

Shoes too small, sweater too small, jacket sized incorrectly but having it tailored.
I liked the shopping experience and will try again.
The box with a few things are going back too you.

My wardrobe has been brought up to date!

Quality items at reasonable price. Love all the fashion tips for the taller and older woman! Like the availability of clothes made with natural fibres. Easy to return goods too. Only down side is that klarna is not working.

I fee like I am being scammed

I have used Thread often and had a good experience to the point where I asked for gift cards for a big birthday. I now find these can't be used together. So if I buy a £70 shirt I cannot combine two £50 gift cards to buy it. One will be used meaning I have to pay cash £20. It also means if I spend £70 of a £100 card I have £30 left that can only be spent in isolation and I will be spending my own cash again. It feels like I am being scammed. It is a very disappointing situation that feels like it is very easy to resolve if they really cared about their customers.

Clothes shopping made easy

I've had a fantastic experience with Thread and I'm glad I came across them.

I absolutely hate clothes shopping. Looking through hundreds of clothes I would never consider wearing to try and find my style would get so repetitive and boring. Thread only shows me clothes that fit my style and it has made shopping for clothes enjoyable for me again.

The website has also inspired me to step out my comfort zone and try new things when it comes to fashion.

The customer service I've received has also been stellar. I got rapid refunds if there was ever any issue with the items and the returns process is super easy.

I'd recommend Thread to anyone who wants clothes shopping made easy.

I have enjoyed the personal service…

I have enjoyed the personal service provided by my stylist- Owain. He has a good eye for style and his recommendations are spot on. I’m 51 years old and 6’5” and 225lbs. Clothes can often be hard to find with the proper fit but Thread has been great. The app is easy to use. Pricing is very competitive and shipping is fast. I look sharp but not like I’m trying to look too young or hip. Thanks Owain!

This has to be one of the worst…

This has to be one of the worst shopping experiences ever.sutomated replys.over 2 weeks wAiting for an order.cancelled order after more than 2 weeks of faffing.waiting upon my refund which will hopefully be resolved more successfully than the order.

I've bought from Thread a few times

I've bought from Thread a few times. There is plenty to choose from for any style and budget and their items are always good quality. Delivery is fast and the return/refund process is very easy and quick. Last but not least, the customer service team is absolutely great! I had to contact them a couple of times and they were always so helpful.

Impressive company.

I am very impressed with this company. Everything I have ordered has been excellent quality, the delivery is quick, always well packaged and never any problem with returns. Highly recommend 👌.

Rubbish delivery.........

Its the first time i have ordered from thread. Order process very straightforward and given a delivery window of 4-6 days for delivery. All fine until Yodel unterly messed up the delivery - which by the way is still in Litchfields Yodel depot. Until thread sort the couriers out i will not be ordering again. Ps, thread could have offered to re send the order but chose not to!

First time purchase from site. Items were as described and collection from local pick-up point was painless.

Fitting/sizing of items were perfect. Nice not to have to worry about whether items are genuine.

Don’t waste your time and money with…

Don’t waste your time and money with this company. First order with Thread, Pretty slow delivery, followed by poor customer service. Got 20% off first order with over £75 spend, ordered five items and decided to keep two and return three under the free returns policy. They decided to refund me for the three items returned and took the discount off the return which is as expected but decided to take the full discount of the entire order off the refund, making the two items I kept full price.

Emailed the company and they said it’s in the returns FAQs which it is a terrible company ploy…. It’s in the terms and conditions… and said without the items returned I wouldn’t have received the discount. This is not accurate as I didn’t believe I had a minimum spend for returns and terrible policy by the company, even if there was a minimum they should give the customer the benefit of the doubt in the first instance and advise of correct procedure moving forward. If you happen to read this before ordering make sure if you get any discount you need to return the whole order or you will lose out. One order is enough with this terrible company, if I hadn’t already worn the other two items they would have been returned. Also if you try to call they automatically put you onto a voice answering service so you have to wait and respond by email and you get a ton of junk emails from them trying to sell you things they have ‘recommended just for you’. I did initially recommend a friend but now advised she send back the order to not help this company profit any further. Buyer beware
