Paid £300 for a "quote" which they lied and said it was a deposit on my flight tickets which is why i booked. They said total balance had to be paid by beginning of June which gave me 3 months but after 2 weeks then requested for balance immediately! Ignored my messages and calls after i asked for a refund and told me the flight I was told they booked me on was no longer available and if I wanted it I'd have to pay more. I was told they will show proof they had booked the flights through British Airways but they couldn't deliver the proof instead agent got rude and defensive. Overall terrible service and I'm £300 down with no flights!!

Long story short- AVOID & speak to your bank if you’ve parted with any money

DO NOT BOOK any flights with this company as you will end up paying more than you are initially quoted. I believe that this agency is trying to operate like a legitimate business but they are not. I question how many of these 5* reviews are inflated. Read full story below to understand how they operate:

I was searching for a flight in late January 2026 when I stumbled across this company. They give you a competitive price at a “discounted fare” and then you pay deposit. Unlike other travel agencies where you receive your e-ticket straight away or a functioning ticket reference, despite not paying the full amount yet, ticketfinderz will tell you your booking is not yet confirmed. You will receive a booking reference, which will not work on the airline website you have booked for, which is what prompted me to think this is probably not a real ticketing agency. I asked them to issue my e-ticket straight away and I would be happy to make full payment and was told that they would have to speak to the airline first as I had been booked on a discounted fare. After a couple of minutes I got a call back from the infamous Anna, who said that my e-ticket had been reissued but as it was was now an “instant purchase” ticket and not a discounted fare provided by them, I would have to pay nearly £200 more than the initial fare I was quoted. I was not accepting of this and asked lots of questions as to why this is and why Anna had not informed me this would be the case when we had spoken just a few moments ago. I asked if this could be reversed back to discounted fare price which Anna said no, as the airline had already changed my ticket. I asked if we could speak to the airline, as I was confused as to how this could be possible and was told no that it was a “business to business” thing.

Anna accepted no responsibility for this matter, offered no apologies at any point for any misunderstanding, which again screams this is not a business operating with customers in mind. I spent nearly 45 minutes on the phone with Anna trying to resolve the issue however, I quickly realised what this was so was trying to gather as much information as possible so I could speak with my bank after the call for advice.

Anna continuously asked me if I wanted to proceed with the flights for £862 (which I was initially quoted £625 for), which I declined. I was simultaneously checking prices for the exact same flight on skyscanner and the instant purchase price was nearly £50 more than what Anna was saying, which again was alarm bells for me. I stuck firm saying I would only pay the agreed initial price or would like a refund and that if this was declined, I would seek advice from my bank. The mention of “advice” and “bank” obviously had an impact on Anna as she then started immediately accusing me of threatening her and hurling abuse. She told me that she was recording the conversation and I informed her that I also had been- 15 minutes into our conversation.

We did not come to any conclusion and the call ended. I sent a follow-up email letting ticketfinderz know that I would be seeing advice from my bank and to issue a refund as I would not be proceeding with booking. I also shared my suspicions on them not being a legitimate company and that I would seek advice and report as necessary if any suspicious activity was observed in my accounts.

3 days after this, I received a call from another agent (Ali I believe). He initially said he was calling to resolve the issue and apologised for Anna’s behaviour. I shared that I had not changed my mind and still wanted a refund and sharing my concerns and that if they would not give me a refund, I would seek advice from somewhere. Ali also began to insult me at the mention of “seeking advice”, shouting at me, calling me uneducated and that I deserved the abuse Anna had given me and deserved much more abuse and eventually ended the call on me.

This all happened in late January 2026 and have not heard from them. My money was returned via the bank very quickly after this situation and no further action needed.

What reminded me to do this review was an email from them today - 4th April. asking me to confirm the cancellation…10 WEEKS AFTER our last conversation.

Ask yourself- would a legitimate company wait 10 weeks to follow-up with you know you have a flight booked? I only had up until 10th February to complete the payment for the booking, which was 7 weeks ago so maybe they were waiting to make sure I didn’t want the flights anymore? Your guess is as good as mine. Just avoid for your own sanity!

P.s. to the company: I’ve got the recordings, email evidence, WhatsApp’s etc so if you do try and call me again as other customers have mentioned harassment, I will not engage you will just be blocked. Thank you!

The agent was extremely rude and inappropriate the way they spoke, if you have any issues they will try and screw you over just to keep the money. DO NOT USE THEM

I bought tickets for Singapore meant to fly on 26th of March and due to the war our flights from Gulf Air was cancelled with the airline informing us we are entitled to a full refund.

Anna our travel agent has unfortunately no customer skills and is very shady individual. Initially we were not informed the flight was cancelled, the only reason we contacted her was because family members on the same flight booked from different platforms were told the flight was cancelled 10 days in advance with refund processing. Anna:
1) Denied the flight was cancelled and expected us to attend the airport
2) She then tried to pressure us into "voluntary cancellation" to incur admin fees
3) When pushback occured, she only offered a refund of £1k from the 2.1k we paid, despite our legal rights for full refund
4) Pushing back further she went down to £300pp, then £100pp and now £30 pp ticket charge
5) When asked what these charges are for, she said gulf air admin charges. I asked for proof of this and she claims she is unable to disclose this email as it's "business to business"
6) Gulf air have repeatedly informed us no charges are being incurred from their end
7) Throughout the whole experience she has been shouting calling me a liar, and wanting me to send my daughters bank statement showing she received her refund, as she didn't believe me
7) She continues to also shout and put the phone down several times on us and refuses to respond through email due to there being a paper trail of our communication

I am extremely shocked and appalled at her behaviour and the behaviour of her colleague Ali and Abrara ( two additional people I spoke with) as they enable this behaviour. Such a business existing in UK is shocking. Scamming and trying to keep our money is very saddening.

We will continue to solve this matter and give Anna a chance to rectify her behaviour, and provide us with a FULL refund. Otherwise we will be taking this business and herself to court.
