Ordered a plate for £900 paid £40 on a separate site had the acrylic plates made for them to message days later telling me they’ve cancelled my order because they don’t have the plate they were advertising

As stated in our Terms and Conditions, which are agreed to at the time of purchase, all registrations are subject to availability. The Terms specifically state:
"All aspects of the online order process, including but not limited to the “Buy Now” or check out function on the website and the email to confirm we have received your order, should be treated as an “invitation to tender”."
Unfortunately, after your order was placed, we were informed that the registration was no longer available. As soon as we received this information, we contacted you immediately to advise of the situation.
We also offered alternative registrations, including options that were very similar to your chosen registration with only a minor digit variation, along with discounted pricing. These alternatives were declined, and we therefore proceeded with a full refund.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. While we make every effort to keep our listings up to date, some registrations are owned by third-party sellers and we rely on them to notify us if a registration has been sold elsewhere or is no longer available.
Thank you for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in finding a suitable registration.

I received so many marketing emails…
I received so many marketing emails offering me the plates I bought for a discounted price - very frustrating after you’ve already paid. Plates that did not match were sent out. I had to send multiple emails to communicate this before someone actually read my email properly and replied. Lots of generic emails about the process which were not specific to my case which were unnecessary and confusing. The whole process has been painful and I would not recommend.

We are very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We understand how frustrating it must have been to continue receiving marketing emails after your purchase, along with the confusion caused by receiving incorrect plates and generic updates.
Please note, you are able to unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any point using the unsubscribe link included within the emails.
In regards to the physical plates, we do apologise once again. As soon as you notified us of the issue, a replacement set was produced and dispatched the very same day using next day delivery.
Your comments have been noted and will be passed on internally so we can improve both our communication and customer experience moving forward.
