Don’t use Tractor Supply. Buy local

Ordered on line, cancelled my order, I was supposed to be same day delivery, they shipped it. Called customer service, there was a problem with the card. NOONE called or emailed to notify me so it could be fixed. Next got a email saying it was shipped , be here Sunday. Got a small bag of dog food for a couple days. My order was close to $100 !
Got a email today, Saturday, not coming. Their communication sucks, no e knows what they’re doing and you don’t ever recieve what you ordered and when. Taking my business elsewhere. Customers beware

5O MINUTES ON HOLD AND STILL WAITING!!!!!

I canceled an order within 5 minutes of placing it last night. Got boilerplate reply saying that they would respond within 48 hrs. Since I needed the cat food right away, I sent a second message.
This morning, I got an email saying my order was ready for pickup!!! I don't want this order the way it was configured by mistake with some items being delivered and some having to be picked up.

I have now been on hold for 50 minutes waiting for someone in Customer Dis-service to p ick up!!!!!! This is totally unacceptable!!!!!!!

Pet pharmacy did not notify me that my dog’s medication was out of stock…

I placed an order for my dog heart medication through the tractor supply pet pharmacy. I uploaded a prescription and also had my veterinarian call in to verify the prescription dosage. I waited two weeks with no contact from tractor supply. On December 21, I called the customer service number. They informed me that the medication was out of stock so I would not be receiving it. I am terribly disappointed, not because the medication was out of stock, but because no one took the time to contact me via either email text or telephone and tell me that it was out of stock. My dog must have this medication twice a day . Tractor supply, pet pharmacy showed a total disregard for my pets health and well-being. I will not be using them again.

I called about sorel caribou boots…

I called about sorel caribou boots person was very rude didn’t try to help said we don’t carry them but if you look at store advertisement says they have them wouldn’t even give ma advice how to order how do they find people like this that are not helpful every tractor supply you go to has very limited supply or is out of things

NON existent customer service

I purchased a sled which arrived broken. I reached out to Tractor Supply via email, form, and phone (was on hold for two hours and finally gave up) and absolutely no response. Do not purchase from them - they obviously do not care about their customers. Worst worst worst experience.

Catastrophically Broken Delivery & Fulfillment – Repeated Failures Over Years

Tractor Supply’s delivery and fulfillment system is fundamentally broken.

My most recent order was a riding lawn mower advertised with same-day delivery. Same-day delivery did not happen. Instead, the order was outsourced to Roadie, resulting in an absurdly inefficient process where separate drivers traveled 25–30 miles each to deliver individual items — despite a Tractor Supply store being only 3 miles from my home.

When the mower finally arrived:

The seat was visibly damaged, with torn and gouged vinyl consistent with mishandling during delivery.

After charging the battery, the mower would not crank at all. It was completely non-functional and dead on arrival.

This was not a “minor issue” or cosmetic problem — it was a brand-new piece of equipment that simply did not work.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident.

In 2020, I ordered three go-karts for home delivery from Tractor Supply. When the shipment arrived by train, I was informed for the first time that delivery could not be completed unless I had a residential loading dock. As a result, I had to:

Rent a trailer

Drive 45 minutes each way to a train depot three separate times

Manually unload and dismantle steel shipping cages that had been placed into the trailer with a forklift

Start at 2:00 PM and finish around 1:00 AM

Only afterward did customer service tell me the shipment could have been routed to my local Tractor Supply store and unloaded there, avoiding this entirely. That option was never communicated beforehand.

To resolve the current mower issue, I purchased the exact same model from Home Depot. They ensured it:

Was running

Had a charged battery

Had fuel

Was demonstrated before I left

Zero drama. Zero surprises. That is how equipment should be sold.

To be clear: local Tractor Supply stores and employees are not the problem. This is a corporate-level failure in logistics, delivery planning, partner selection, and basic quality control. Outsourcing large equipment delivery to uncoordinated gig drivers and advertising “same-day delivery” that cannot be executed responsibly is misleading at best.

After multiple major delivery failures over several years, I no longer trust Tractor Supply to deliver large equipment competently.

I ordered a 40lb bag of coal

I ordered a 40lb bag of coal. They said same-day delivery for $19.99. I ordered, but then read the reviews here and figured it was not going to happen. Four hours later-on a Sunday, no less- the guy turns up with my 40lb bag of coal. I think he'd come quite a way. Amazing. For a single item. Really great service

I ordered a product online and received an email on 11/26 stating the order was delayed, with a new delivery window of 11/30–12/1. The item never arrived. On 12/2, I called customer service and waited 24 minutes on hold before receiving a callback. The representative couldn’t find any updates in their system and placed me on hold again for another 4 minutes to contact the supplier. The supplier also had no update. I was told the rep would research the issue and call or email me the next day so I could decide whether to wait or cancel. I never received any follow-up.
The next day, 12/4, I called back to cancel the order and spent 54 minutes on hold before finally reaching a representative. I requested cancellation, and she said she needed to place me on another 3–5 minute hold to process it. I asked if confirmation could be emailed instead since I had already been on hold nearly an hour. She said yes, put me on hold — and then the call disconnected about 30 seconds later. I never received a confirmation email.
Between missed delivery promises, multiple long hold times, no follow-up as promised, and a dropped call during cancellation, this was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. Very disappointing for a major national retailer.

Orders always getting canceled since they lie about something being in stock.
Jeans my bf likes they never have his size in stock online or in store. At times couldn't even order them online to be shipped or picked up. Its beyond bs.
My review got taken down for simply saying bs. What happened to freedom of speech??? Im tired of all these websites or companies you can post reviews taken reviews down bc they dont like what you say or try and call you a liar or say its irrelevant. I've had it.

Tractor is about to lose my business.

One And Done

If I could give them a zero I would. This was my first time using this poor excuse for a company. Made an online order for a riding mower and a plow. The plow didn't come and the mower arrived, but didn't work. Spent 45 minutes on hold just to be told they could do an exchange, and this time the mower "would be new." After finally agreeing to have it replaced, i was informed that I would need to buy the replacement, then I'd get refunded in 2 to 5 business days for the return, after they received it.

That's not even the end of the story. I'm currently on hold for 50 minutes, and still waiting, because the store that was suppose to pick up the mower said they have no returns scheduled to be picked up and i would need to call the driving company. I called Customer Solutions for them to fix this atrocious situation, and we'll see what happens. Honestly the worst business I've ever had with a company. NEVER DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! WHAT A SAD EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS.

I ordered emergency items for my horse that stopped drinking for 3 days. The vet couldn't come to tube him, he told me to give him electrolytes and UlcerGuard. I ordered the items on 12/1 from the website because they promised to deliver them on 12/2. I do not live near enough to get them myself. They did not arrive on 12/2 as promised. I tried for 3 days to call the Roadie (delivery) number and TractorSuckPly customer service, NO ONE picks up! I finally was able to speak with the manager at the Cedar Point store. He was not willing to do anything, he told me to "Try again" and reorder. That is the definition of insanity.
This is not the only bad experience I have had with customer service, store deliveries or website lies, it is company wide. I will be taking my business elsewhere permanently.

I'll never do business with TSC again.

I ordered eleven rolls of "SEALTECH Heavy Duty 48 in. x 125 ft. 10mm Thick Reflective Insulation Roll" for my new shop. The product itself is great so far, I've installed several rolls of it. I paid $3409.89, including $199.99 for shipping right to my front door.
Two rolls arrived damaged.
Now TRACTOR SUPPLY won't replace the damaged rolls. This is unacceptable.
They offered a discount on the rolls, if I provided photos of the damaged rolls; in my shop, the insulation foil surface is exposed/can be seen and I want it to look nice. This option is unacceptable.
Or, I could strap the HUGE rolls up on top of my Prius and carry them to my local TSC for a refund. I DON'T WORK FOR YOU TSC. I paid good money to have you ship this to my home! You send someone over here to pick up the damaged rolls and then you give my money back! I'll shop elsewhere!
The product is still for sale on your website so I assume you have more?.....Send replacement rolls so I can finish insulating my new shop. SMH! TSC used to be a great company, now its like autozone with chicken feed.

I placed an online order 12/01/25 to be…

I placed an online order 12/01/25 to be shipped to my hometown store. Put in the zip code to bring up the store. My order was placed and the store address that it is being shipped to is 3hours away. I have been trying to reach customer service for since yesterday morning. Call time said 5min. After 15min still no one. Put in a call back and still have not received a call back. I have tried that 6 times along with an email. This is very frustrating.

Horrible service

On 11/29 received email my horsd feed order that was to be picked up in store was ready. When I arrived only partial order available. Asked mgr to fill remainder of order from floor stock. He refused. Told me he was not depleting his door stock to fill my order which was simply alfalfa pellets. Henderson location staff is consistently rude and unhelpful. They consistently are out of stock.on commonly used horse feed. Poor management.

Caveat Emptor - buyer beware

I purchased a several hundred dollar arena harrow in July, 2025. This is a product that should last for years. This one literally snapped in half in November, 2025, after a few months of light use. TS does not offer a warranty and instead referred me to the manufacturer. This is made by a UK company (even though TS advertises as if it is made in the USA). I discovered this after researching the manufacturer warranty. They do not honor their warranty if the product is sold in the USA. TS was no help, and refused to stand behind the product they sell and promote. TS is a horrible company in my experience, and not worth the hefty prices. They claim to be America first, and yet sell cheap foreign made items. In my experience, TS has very poor customer service, and offers low quality, over priced merchandise.
